My son received the most excellent care at Woodlands, Staff are literally second to none. A small but important memory was that everyone remembered mine and my family's name, every time we visited they were just wonderful. We will never forget.
It was our privilege to be able to care for your son during...
I can not express how wonderful each and every member of staff such loving and caring people and looked after my brother so well and made his last few weeks full of love and laughter and once he had passed the kindness they all showed myself and my family
Will forever be greatful to you all
Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review of Woodland. It was an honour to be able to care for your brother during his final days, and even though he was with us for a short time, he made a huge impact on the team. Everyone will be delighted to read your kind words.
My aunt, who was a 100 years old, was only here for seven weeks before she passed. But in her last few weeks, she could not have received better care from every member of the staff who cared for her. They took time to chat and get to know her and treated her so well. It made a very difficult time easier for the whole family, especially my uncle, who was so pleased with the care she received. Once again, thank you from all our family.
Thank you for writing this lovely review of Woodland, especially at such a difficult time for your family. It was our privilege to look after your Aunt, and are glad that our support eased the family concerns. The team work so hard to make everyone's stay the best it can be and they will be very appreciative of your kind words.
My aunt was with you for only a short time, but she was looked after and treated veare ry well. She loved her room. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Thank you to all.

We could not have wished for a nicer home for our Mum to spend her final days.
Thank you.
It was an honour to be able to care for your Mum in her final days. Even though she wasn't with us very long, she is definitely a lady we will remember fondly.
The team...
A superb care home. We are so pleased that my dad has finally found a home that care for him and his challenging condition but also support us as family in such a difficult time. Highly recommended. Thank you to Claire and her amazing team, we are truly grateful.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We're so pleased to hear your kind words and truly appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, it means a lot to us.
All staff very kind and caring nothing too much trouble for them. Would recommend this home to other people.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We're delighted you found ur team kind and caring, and we truely appreicate your recommendation.
My father had a stroke and could no longer live alone. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff in moving his bed against the wall and putting down a second mattress on the floor, and further crash mats in the room as he rolls himself out of bed and onto the floor in the night. I feel confident that he is checked regularly. He is always smartly dressed, and his hair is brushed and washed. The staff all seem to know his likes and dislikes.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We truly appreciate your kind words and are grateful for the trust you've placed in us to care for your father. Your support means a great deal to our whole team.
I have always found the home very homely and welcoming. The care staff at Woodlands are all very caring and take great care of my mother. My mother is very happy being at the home. There will always be ways to improve but overall its a great care home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We're delighted to hear that your mother enjoys living at Woodlands. We really value your feedback, and you're right, there are always opportunities for us to grow. We'll make sure your comments are shared with the team as we continue working to provide the best possible experience for our residents and their families.
I haven't got any complaints. This is a lovely place to live in. The staff are all extremely aring and kind.
Thank you for your lovely comments. We're so pleased to hear you're happy living here and that you find the staff caring and kind.
Woodlands is mums new and forever home. Mum wasn't coping at home but we didn't think she would settle in a care home. Initially in Woodlands for respite, every single staff member are amazing. They treat mum with the greatest dignity and respect. They genuinely care. I hope this is mums forever home. I am 100% confident the care they provide is second to none, I no longer have to worry - 10/10 and more.
My wife has been a resident at Woodland Care Home for more than 5 years. She is very happy there and we are both very pleased with the care that she receives from the staff who are extremely friendly and caring. In my opinion the care home is very well managed and the staff extremely competent.
Thank you for your kind review of Woodlands, we appreciate your kind words and will pass this on to the rest of the team.
Very pleased with Woodland Care Home. Staff are always friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you for your kind review of Woodlands, these reviews really do help and make a difference when families are choosing homes for their loved ones.
Following lots of staff changes in the last 9 months we feel things are on the up for my mum. My mum was a keen gardener but since staff had been laid off things outside went down hill and the latest contractors seem like butchers. Very happy with the new manager, lot more focus and this is reflected in the staff.
Thank you for your review and for your kind comments. We understand how important outdoor spaces can be, especially for those who enjoy gardening, and we take on board your feedback and are looking into ways to improve this moving forward.
Mum was discharged from hospital straight to Woodland. Many other homes had turned her down due to concerns about her safety as she was prone to falls. Woodland were happy to take her on and initially provided 24-hour one-to-one care funded by CHC, eventually this was reduced to 12 hours per day and finally withdrawn once Mum had lost her mobility. Throughout this time and beyond the care home staff were extremely diligent and caring towards Mum, ensuring her safety and reporting any issues back to us. Sadly Mum passed away in late September. We asked her many times if she was happy there and she always said yes, the management and staff were all very friendly, approachable and happy to discuss any issues and keep us updated on progress. The home provides good healthy meals, there are plenty of activities on a daily basis, and they take the residents on outings as and when possible. Mum particularly enjoyed her day out at an animal park. We thank them all for all they did for her.
Thank you for your kind words, Mr S. We pride ourselves at Woodlands in providing person-centred care and tailoring our care to each individual. It was a pleasure caring for your mother-in-law during her last days, and ensuring all her wishes were met.
Thank you all.
I didn’t have much contact with the management, and I cannot comment on whether it is good value for money because we didn’t have anything to compare it to; care home costs across the board seem very expensive.
My husband was only a resident for 3 weeks for continuous care. The staff were all very kind, friendly and attentive to him at all times. His well-being and health improved greatly during his stay.
My husband has only been in the home for 6 weeks. The staff treat him like they have known him for years. They are kind, caring, nothing is too much trouble for them all done with a smile! I am involved in all the treatment he has, they tell me all that is going on with him, good or bad.
I am very pleased he is in this home as I feel he is safe.
I was sent to Woodlands Care Home from 13th June 2022 until the 18th of September 2023. Ever since I have been in the care home they have supported me all the way through my stay. They were always there when I needed to talk to them. All the staff are excellent at what they do they care about the residents under their care. They treat you with respect and dignity and they listen to your problems. I would like to say a big thank you to all the day and night staff and management for all your care and support. I recommend this place all the way I will definitely be back when going into respite. Thank you once again to all Woodlands staff.
Thank you Sue for your kind words. It was a pleasure to have you stay with us at Woodland and we wish you all the best for the future back in your own home.
