Woodlands Care Home managed the transition from hospital into the care home with utter professionalism, empathy and compassion. High levels of team work ensure quality continuity of genuine care on a daily basis. There is a strong community at Woodlands based on the staff, residents, family and friends of residents. My mum is safe and secure, well cared for and happy. Thank you.

When my father-in-law could no longer cope alone in his own house, we had to find a home where we thought he would be happy and we were impressed with Woodlands at the first visit. It is lovely and clean and the staff are all very kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept well informed. Dad was only there a short time before he passed away but we couldn't have asked for better care.

I was worried when my husband went to Woodlands Care Home as you hear so many stories about care homes, but he was in there for 15 months and could not have been better looked after. He was treated with dignity and kindness and the people could not do enough for him. They were also very kind to me. To me and the family, they far exceeded expectations, they were excellent and made my husband's passing so much easier. Thank you.

Woodland Care Home, cared for my mother for about 8 weeks prior to her death. She required 24-hour care including feeding. At all times the staff treated her with love, care and professional treatment. Her room was first class as were the surroundings. We could not have chosen a better place for mothers last days.

My darling wife was taken into care from hospital in February 2015 following a stroke on January 3rd, 2015. I spent 6 hours a day with her until she died at the home on the 12th October 2016. She was cared for so very well with so much kindness and love and I witnessed this, the staff treated me in the same manner and my wife and I always looked on them as very dear friends.

My mother had a major stroke at the beginning of 2015 and following an initial stay in hospital for eight weeks has been a resident of Woodlands Care Home. I and the rest of my family always find the staff at the home very polite and that the care for my mother has been marvellous. She has had continuous care which provided dignity and patience and support around the time that has been given individually to her was quite amazing in a very busy care home. I would recommend to anybody who required nursing care.

Management and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Carers go out of their way. Helpful, caring and nothing is too much to ask for. Entertainment and activities, garden fetes, music, Easter parades, Halloween and especially Xmas. Maintenance is always on hand, again always friendly and helpful. The tubs and hanging baskets and garden is a real delight. Keep up the good work.

On the whole excellent service but there was a delay in providing assisted showers which was frustrating as I am on a 5 hour peg feed twice per day.

We moved into care when it was no longer possible to look after her at home. We were looking for somewhere she could be looked after which would give us peace of mind, knowing that all her needs would be met. We were offered a professional service, almost immediate choice of rooms and the process was complete in matter of days.

The staff are friendly, dedicated and caring. The nurses are professional, kind and understanding of mum's needs, as well as our own requirements. Mum was cared from residential care, right through to end of life care, treated with dignity as if she were their own mother. Our gratitude will last a life time to those who treat their job as a vocation.
