Staff very tentative and exceptional care given to the residents. Staff also very pleasant with all visitors and informing family of progress of resident. Home warm, clean and happy.

The family would like to thank all of the staff and the manager, who have been excellent and supportive towards my father, his care and treatment regime. The team were quick in liaising with other medical teams to support Dad's health as well as attending to the hospital. The manager is very understanding
and caring. He kept us updated of Dad's health and well-being. We have received a warm welcome from him, he showed us around and is very knowledgeable and interactive with a good sense of humour and has demonstrated a holistic approach towards my father.

On the last day of 2022 my wife died of cancer in this home. The care after her funeral was top class, even staff attended the funeral, cannot thank them all enough for the care given to me.

My wife was admitted to Catchpole Court Care Home, Sudbury on 4th November, initially for two weeks respite. The kind and attentive care she received was, from day one, excellent. Therefore, it was becoming obvious that full-time care was required and organised.

Our mum suffered from Lewy body dementia and was in the Gainsborough wing of Catchpole Court Care Home from the end of 2020 until her passing at the beginning of October 2021. I speak for all our family in saying that the care she received in her final months was exceptional and that every member of
the team showed her and us an abundance of compassion, love and support for which we'll be eternally grateful. We all think you are marvellous!

We are very pleased with the care mum is receiving. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. With the pandemic, things have not been easy, but everything has gone very smoothly. Would definitely recommend this nursing home.

Very good home, very happy with everything as is my sister. The staff are lovely and friendly, and great for my sister. It’s been difficult during Covid, but the home has kept us informed of everything, and we know she is safe and happy.

Mum was in Catchpole Court care home from July 18 to August 30 and was extremely well cared for. The staff were very kind and respectful to Mum and she felt very comfortable there. Also, the staff kept me informed of everything going on regarding Mum, they always phoned if there was a problem. A very
kind, caring home.
Because of Covid, I didn't go inside the home.

On visiting it is very welcoming, comfortable, peaceful and clean. The staff extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble for them 24/7. Clients room is always well presented and cared for, also with their own furniture and treasures is very homely.

I am delighted to have taken over as home manager at Catchpole which has a really dedicated and caring team. I have brought more than 30 years of experience in social care into my current role, having worked in a variety of settings, including the NHS, social services and the voluntary sector, as well as the private sector. This has enabled me to develop knowledge and experience across all areas to a high level. We want to be known for delivering the highest standard of person-centred care, empowering residents and promoting independence to support physical and mental wellbeing.

I have worked at Catchpole Court for 30 years as a registered nurse. At Catchpole Court Nursing Home, I am passionate about looking after others and strive to provide excellent care to ensure that the residents feel safe and well cared for during their time at Catchpole Court.


Catchpole Court is a great place to work and I am proud to be part of a team delivering person-centred care for our residents. We are lucky to be in a wonderful area of Suffolk and outside of work my family and I love holidays in our caravan. I have two wonderful sons and a dog and we all enjoy walking across the fields.

I have worked at Catchpole Court for 19 years as a senior carer and then I progressed as the Activities Coordinator. At Catchpole Court Nursing Home, I enjoy being with our residents and fulfilling their wishes.


Catchpole Court is a great place to work and I am proud of the events that we put on. The residents' happiness makes my work worthwhile. My family are important to me and I have twin boys who keep me on my toes. We enjoy family time together and walking our dog. I have been a part of the community in Sudbury all my life and enjoy being actively involved with the community.
