Clean, tidy, professional and very personable. Very happy with all the service they provided. Only in there for six months, treated us all with the utmost respect, great team, five stars, until the end of her life.
Listened to all of us, helped us with regular contact, was no issue at all.

We wouldn't hesitate to let any of our relations move into here.

My mother had been a resident at Chilton Croft Nursing Home for almost two years. Sadly, she has now passed away but the care and thoughtfulness shown by the staff during her last week cannot be stressed enough. Over the many hours that I was with my mother, many members of staff would come in, not only to check on her but also to see if I was alright and to share their memories of my mother. They helped to make a difficult time bearable. I know that my mother was happy and well cared for at Chilton Croft and that the decision to take her there was the right one.

Very impressed with this cheerful and friendly nursing home. Arrived here in quite poor condition initially but was soon put to rights by the professional and conscientious care to be found here. Staff are universally helpful; nothing too much trouble for anyone. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for sound, nursing care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Our mother has been a resident here for nearly a year. We visit twice a week on different days and at different times and have found a consistently high level of care and standards. The staff have always been good at offering an open and welcoming attitude and been responsive to our comments and requests about our views on Mum's needs. Staff seem consistently caring and understanding toward Mum and she seems happy with her environment, food, medication support and staff care and attitude toward her. Her room and the general areas are kept clean - it has always been a pleasurable and reassuring experience when we spend time with Mum at Chilton Croft Nursing Home.

I have visited at different times and days of the week and have always found there are lots of staff being helpful and friendly. My cousin is always clean and groomed and her room is clean. My cousin is happy about the meals and they made her a birthday cake which pleased her. She is up, enjoying others' company and activities and interaction with plenty of staff and they are there for all her needs. It is good to leave her knowing she is being well cared for and is safe.

My dad is well cared for at Chilton Croft Nursing Home. The staff are friendly and look after him well. They treat him with dignity and genuinely care about his welfare. Nothing is too much trouble.
Sadly, we had to move him from the first home he was put in due to the quality of the home and were so happy to move to Chilton Croft so my father could have some quality of life back.
I visit on a weekly basis and am always welcomed by the team. The home is clean and well looked after. It is also refreshing to see the same carers rather than lots of agency staff. My father really values the friendly relationships he has made with the team at Chilton Croft and the value of this on his well-being shouldn’t be underestimated.

I would happily recommend the care home to others.

My husband resides in Chilton and has been here for a year now. I am very happy with the level of service and the staff are friendly and very efficient at their jobs and really seem to care about the residents. Nursing is very good as well. Food is prepared well and they are always happy to change their meal plan to suit residents' individual needs. Overall I would recommend Chilton. Hygiene and cleanliness are excellent.

Excellent care is given to my brother.
I visited at any time, and he was always happy, clearly well looked after, and the staff were friendly and approachable.

I believe that he received the best care that he possibly could have and would have no hesitation in recommending Chilton Croft after working in care myself for 30+ years.

The home has not been run that well for a long time, particularly requesting particular meals. The care staff do a good job overall and communication is better, but being able to speak with my mother isn't always easy and the phone volume/clarity has been poor.

Our mother was a resident for over eight years. She received the best care and attention always from the dedicated staff and management. We are grateful for the respect and dignity shown, often in difficult times (e.g. Covid).

We have no hesitation in recommending Chilton Croft Nursing Home as a friendly and welcoming home with caring staff.

Very homely and professional nursing home. All important aspects are excellent, room for improvement in some of the less important aspects. A care home where is seems "care" is put in first place.

I cannot comment on activities and value for money as I don't know.

On entering the home you receive a warm welcome, all the staff on duty seem happy and interacting with the residents. Every time I have visited there is a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of tea and biscuits on hand for everyone. My mum has settled really well and had been made to feel like one of the family even having a little job at mealtimes handing out tabards.

My wife has been a resident in Chilton Croft Nursing Home since mid-December 2020 and I have also been a resident for a 4 week period over Christmas/New Year. Having stayed within the home myself I feel very confident to give an unbiased appraisal.
The home is very efficiently run buy permanent staff (not contract) who work extremely hard. The management is apparent but in a very subtle way. The private owner is nearly always on hand and knows all residents and staff by Christian names. The food is of very high quality and plentiful, prepared by a chef (and staff) who are very dedicated and hard working.

I promised my wife I would never place her in care! However, having witnessed her deterioration (with Alzheimer's) and my effort to try and care for her, for the past 2 years, I realized she required far better attention than I could provide. After over 63 years of marriage this, for me, was a very difficult decision to make. Having witnessed the care she is receiving I got it right.

My mother has been treated with respect and dignity by managers and all the staff. Her room is clean and tidy at all times of visiting.
She is always clean and well dressed and there are no aromas in the home as like others I have visited.

There are always activities if required by the residents. The food is good and the drinks plentiful.

We were so lucky to find Chilton Croft when we did. From the very first meeting we just knew this was the right place for our loved one. We were fully kept in the picture regarding care. Food was lovely and we were always made welcome to eat there. Every member of staff clearly loves their job, all so very patient, in sometimes what could be challenging situations, (dementia resident). End of life care was so sympathetic, we were kept fully informed. It's an old house, the interior is as an elderly person would have in their homes. It's not modern, clinical or cold, just go and visit, if you love your relative, you will understand what I mean. This year has been so difficult, but the support we received from Chilton was simply awesome, it's a home from home. Thank you.
