After trying to get my step son into a care home due to him having Huntingtons disease we were kindly offered Foxearth , we found the Manager and the full staff to be exceptionally kind, caring, very helpful and always professional. All problems with my son are covered with a phone call and a full explanation letter going forward.

Foxearth Lodge Building, facilities + staff are all amazing.

The staff (especially the activity staff) work So hard to make sure the residents are well cared for and have lots of interactive times to keep them occupied and involved helping keep their cognitive skills going + active, My Mums life has been enriched since being there - she has alzheimers and was unable to do anything but is now encouraged to join in which she really enjoys

Dad has settled in well in Foxearth. He now has a lovely room with a great view and access to a courtyard garden. The place is well managed and the staff are very caring and supportive. The musical entertainment is a real bonus as well as the other range of activities available. The gardens are beautiful and lovingly looked after. Caretaking and domestic staff are super accomodating so, so far happy days! All of my comments relate to Foxearth as his experience in another setting was disappointing.

19th of June 2026. Attended a lovely barbecue event at Foxearth Lodge today, the culmination of a whole week of themed activities.
This lovely team is very professional and at the same time excel at the human side; humour, patience, compassion and dedication. What more could you ask for (apart from some more staff to ease the considerable burden on these incredible people)?

My mother-in-law has been very comfortable and happy here for nearly five years and we are very grateful.

My family and I have been extremely pleased with every aspect of the care and facilities at Foxearth since my mother moved in during August 2024. We are kept up to date regularly about my mother's care during visits to her and via phone and email. We regularly attend the relatives' meetings when all aspects of the running of the home are discussed. The activities programme is a particular aspect of the home with which we are impressed.

This was the first visit to see my aunt, and I took my 90 year old mother also to visit her sister. First impression - festively decorated and staff very welcoming.
Taken to the dementia wing, people in the communal area with a singer, it was joyful.
My aunt was cared for, treated with joyful dignity.

Rooms are beautifully clean, and residents are cheerful and clean! The home looked and smelled clean, well done to all staff.

My Mum has lived at Foxearth Lodge for four years now, and has received consistently exemplary care; she is wholly dependent on the wonderful staff, who treat her with dignity, compassion and gentle kindness.

That same core of long-standing staff cared similarly for my Father, who spent the last year of his life in comfort at Foxearth.

I cannot praise the whole team highly enough - they are always professional, even when working within some trying constraints on occasions.

They always rise to the occasion and I am so grateful to them.

Truly outstanding care.

Mum having to go into a nursing home was a heartbreaking time, but from the moment she moved in Foxearth, we were put at ease. Mum is having end of life care, the management, kitchen, domestic, maintenance and carers/nurses are unbelievable with her and us. They go above and beyond to keep Mum happy and comfortable.

My dad was offered a place in Foxearth following a short stay at a Hospice in Ipswich. I went and checked out this home and the care, and was very happy and impressed. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble, and after a couple of weeks, dad has settled in nicely. This has made a huge difference to my life, knowing he is in safe hands and being looked after well.

Each time I visit the home it is very clean with no smell of urine. The staff are very friendly and all appear to be happy in their work. My sister is allowed the freedom to work in the garden, which she loves, and the staff are all very nice to her. Foxearth is a nursing home I would happily move into!

My mother started in the Dementia Unit. I was hesitant to move her into care, but the staff made the move so easy, both emotionally and physically, for us as a family. It made a very difficult time much easier for us. Staff and care were excellent. Mum was content and never said she wanted to go home. Loads of activities and entertainment, and I should mention the activities staff who went above and beyond with her care. When her health deteriorated, I was kept informed, and end-of-life care was gentle and dignified.

As a volunteer I visit Foxearth regularly, I always find the 'home' welcoming, clean, and all the residents that I have seen are very happy, content and well cared for.
The staff go beyond their roles to make it a place of warmth and safety.
They put enormous effort into making special dates memorable too, VE Day, Christmas, Easter etc

All in all I would say it's one of the best residential homes in the area. It doesn't host the most lavish rooms, but it makes up for that with its caring/can do attitude

My overall experience has been very good you don't realise how difficult and rewarding it is to work in the caring industry. All the staff are very caring and committed and I have found them very helpful and good company and are wonderful with my husband and all residence their patience is a virtue. Although I have found it upsetting at times, all they do has made it a lot easier to come to terms with everything. A big thank you to all the staff for their dedication and a massive well done for all their hard work.

It was my first visit to Foxearth Lodge Nursing Home and I was warmly welcomed. Foxearth has such a warm friendly feel, offered tea before the arrival of the tea trolley. I could see how clean everywhere was and everything to hand in the room. I left my friend in the knowledge he was being care for and looked after extremely well.

Foxearth Lodge came into our lives at just the right time. My mother-in-law was beginning to struggle with her mobility, and living alone at age 89. From the first moment, we knew it would be perfect for her. A down-to-earth, friendly atmosphere. The walls are decorated with happy photos of residents. The staff are attentive, and kind and treat her with respect. She loves the food and her bedroom has a wonderful view of the beautiful garden. She settled and is content. We can't fault it.

My aunt was cared for at Foxearth Lodge for the last 3 years of her life. We could not have been happier with standard of care she received. Despite her advancing dementia she was treated with the utmost dignity and respect by all the fabulous staff. We particularly liked the friendly, family atmosphere and the frequent communication which kept us all aware of what my aunt had been doing as she wasn't able to tell us herself. Rooms are kept spotlessly clean and the food is delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend Foxearth Lodge.
