My mum, unfortunately, suffered a severe stroke in May 2022.
She was moved from the hospital to Foxearth in October, and all I can say is thank you so much to all the staff for making Mum feel so at home.
Foxearth is such a lovely place, and Mum is extremely happy.

I can't recommend Foxearth and all of the staff highly enough.

My mother has received wonderful care at Foxearth. It is very comforting to know that she feels safe and is well cared for. All of the staff are outstanding, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are lovely. It's great to know that the meals are enjoyed and that the residents and staff always have a happy smile on their faces. When I visit my mother, I am always updated with information about my mother and if the staff have any concerns. Foxearth is a great place.

My parents, who died within days of each other, were cared for with gentleness, grace, love and respect during their time at the home and in particular during their last hours.

We (family members) were also treated with understanding and compassion. Thank you Foxearth Lodge.

My mother feels safe and cared for in Foxearth Lodge Nursing Home which is a family-run home and feels like a home from home. The staff goes to great lengths to ensure that patients and relatives feel confident in the care that they provide. Individual needs are catered for and respected. Communication ensures that family and friends know what is going on and this has been especially true during covid.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Foxearth Lodge have gone over and above to ensure the health and safety of its staff, residents and visitors. We are eternally grateful to all of them that with the addition of 'the pod' we have been able to continue with our weekly visits to see Mum. She is happy and healthy, and we thank all the staff for their hard work and for caring.

My mother went into Foxearth in September 2017 and I have nothing but praise for the home.
She's been in a home in Yorkshire which was not great and moved to be close to me in Suffolk.
The nurses and the carers treated my mother with respect and dignity.
They recognised that although elderly and frail my mother was an intelligent woman who was perfectly capable of making choices and enjoying humour.
As mum moved to her last days they were all wonderful.

They cared for mum gently and with respect and also took time to support me through the last difficult week.

On arrival, my mother had behaviour problems. The staff were excellent in dealing with this and within a short space of time, my mother became more content. The staff showed patience and understanding.
Every member of staff were always pleasant and would do their utmost to help residents and visitors alike. Foxearth Lodge is tranquil, clean and tidy, the atmosphere and staff make it a home.

I am very pleased that my mother had the chance to stay at Foxearth as I highly recommend the quality of care.

My mother was admitted from hospital on September 1st 2017. I selected Foxearth for her after visiting several facilities in our area. She was welcomed with warmth and friendliness, and her care has been exemplary. She is comfortable in her room which she has been able to personalise, and her confidence has improved over the past 7 weeks or so.

I am happy that my mother is in the best possible place for her and am confident her needs and requirements will be met. The staff, and there are many, seem without exception to be excellent.

I spent 14 days respite care at Foxearth Lodge Nursing Home. I was treated with respect, care and great kindness by the staff.

As it was temporary the room I occupied was not too good, and I found washing, personal care not good as no hand basin in the very small toilet. Als I would like to see drinking water jug changed more frequently, this was very often left on the table in the sun all day!!!!

My husband is bedridden and all his care is carried out with as much dignity as possible. The home has a very pleasant atmosphere and cleaners, kitchen staff, carers, nurses and management are very friendly.

My 97-year-old mother is partially sighted and lived until very recently in very sheltered accommodation where she was remarkably independent for her age.
Following a fall and spell in hospital, the decision was reluctantly made, she needs 24 x 7 care which sheltered accommodation could not offer.
The move to Foxearth Lodge was made as painless as possible and she has quickly settled in.
She seems happy and content there which is due to the kind and friendly staff who look after her.
The nursing staff soon got her leg ulcers and other problems under control and also put procedures in place to prevent further falls which has increased her confidence and helped her feel safe.
She likes to have her hair done and look smart which the staff have also helped her with.

Her family are welcome to visit at any time and all agree she is being very well cared for.

A first class nursing home, clean and beautifully decorated, outstanding gardens with a pond, bird aviary and feeders everywhere, which are filled daily.
Staff enjoy their job and it is obvious through their friendly approach to their tough job in caring.
The residents want for nothing, newspapers delivered daily, hairdressers, chiropodist and doctor etc... all in weekly attendance.
A wonderful location. Foxearth Lodge nursing home is an outstanding care home no matter how you look at it.

As a son, I couldn't be more happy for my mother.

Every member of staff is polite, respectful and helpful. No request is ignored.
Explanations are given for every step or procedure. Facilities for families of residents are excellent.
Our mum was cared for with dignity, respect, gentleness and consideration. We felt she was valued by the staff.

Unfortunately, our mum was ill and died. The end of life care at the home cannot be faulted. It was excellent.
