The Home is being refurbished area by area. The garden is being looked after by an outside company who had been requested to clean and tidy up every two weeks. There is a newly refurbished pergola in the rear garden. The rear garden is being prepared for the spring and summer activities.

Regarding the recent report published by CQC: We do not feel that this is a fair refection of Mabbs Hall, we challenged the factual accuracy of this report as we don’t believe the CQC has taken our comments into account properly, especially in evidencing the positive points of the inspection. We are however, working hard to improve Mabbs Hall and we shared our own improvement plan with the CQC at the time of the inspection. We are continuing to develop and enhance Mabbs Hall, for the benefit of all interested parties

I have worked in social care, specialising in older people since 1991, as I made the positive decision to work in this rewarding sector after I first qualified.
I have been a nurse, deputy manager, registered manager, quality manager & assistant director. I have been an operations director for many years prior to joining this company, I have a passion for making a difference and a wide knowledge base, and I love working and being a leader in social care.
