Very low staff numbers here over the weekend (although this has improved of late). Huge turnover of agency staff.

With regards to staffing, we always operate at safe levels, including over the weekend and this is regularly reviewed to reflect our residents’ needs. While we are currently in the process of actively recruiting and adding to our team, there are two agencies who support us to ensure we always keep to the same staff level. To guarantee continuity within the team, the agencies send the same team members which we book in advance so we know who is coming. If you’d like to discuss anything further, please feel free to pop in and see me for a chat at your earliest convenience.

We make every effort to ensure our easy to read Terms and Conditions are discussed and agreed upfront with both our residents and Next-of-Kins, and any additions are also explained during this process. Details of the administration fees and what they cover are included in the Terms and Conditions. This includes the time and work spent preparing for the individuals arrival, from assessment to care-planning, preparing the financial documents and agreements. We feel that we are transparent with our process and information provided and if we are aware of any dispute or uncertainty prior to admission, we are always willing to discuss and provide clarity.
