Saville Manor Nursing Home

My brother received excellent care while he was in Saville Manor Nursing Home. The staff are kind and efficient.

Staff work hard and are very caring.

I wish to thank all the staff for their professionalism, kindness and loving care of my mother, who was a resident at Saville Manor for six and a half years. I have found the staff always to be cheerful, responsive and helpful. Nothing is ever a problem and, even when busy, the staff take time to listen and understand and to offer advice when needed. There is a strong sense that the staff enjoy their work, as well as each other's company: this creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as a sense that everything is in hand. I found communications to be excellent and liked being contacted in person by phone. Saville Manor has a beautiful private garden. It is also situated on Durdham Downs, with life and activity taking place all around. The Downs are great for walking and the University of Bristol Botanical Gardens are close by: the location is ideal in so many ways. I shall never forget the kindness shown to my mother and all our family. Thanks to everyone at Saville Manor.

This is a well-run home with caring staff and management. Other than that I have nothing to add.

My mum was a resident of Saville Manor for eight months. She thrived in the caring, loving environment. The staff really understood my mum and adjusted her care accordingly. I never worried about her during her stay, and it became a joy to visit her. During her final days, the staff provided excellent care and love and supported us during a very sad time. I have nothing but positive things to say about Saville Manor, and I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone who needs full-time care.

Saville Manor Nursing Home is always clean, tidy, and staff are always happy to help. Staff keep in touch as much as possible about my dad. My dad is always happy! I am not sure about the food, always looks good, but my dad is really fussy. I am very happy.

Special arrangements were made to give the Covid-19 vaccine to my sister-in-law since she had refused to take it the last two times. I was invited to support my sister-in-law during the third visit, and all the staff and the nurses who visited, especially to offer the vaccine, have played a very efficient team effort, and it was a success.

Ideal for residents needing nursing and much care. For respite and active care slightly lacking. Fantastic carers and indeed all staff. All staff from all levels superb.

My mum was in Saville Manor nursing home for the last 2-weeks of her life. She was admitted on the first day the care home entered lockdown, so, unfortunately, I was unable to visit her, but the nursing staff made sure they rang me most days so I could talk to my mum. When she deteriorated, they rang me, and I was allowed to come in to be with her. I was given the appropriate PPE and was able to be with her holding her hand when she passed away peacefully. The home looked spotlessly clean, and the nursing staff supported me in my grief. I would not have wanted Mum to be anywhere else at the end.

My wife spent the last week of her life at Savill Manor and I would most warmly commend the high standard of tender loving care and attention that was given her and her visitors.

I have always been impressed by the standard of care my mother is receiving at Saville Manor. The whole environment is beautiful and clean and the atmosphere homely and inviting. The staff are very kind and welcoming and obviously love the people they are caring for. They make sure that visitors feel happy and comfortable and can be provided with food and beverages if desired. My mother has been living there for some time now and is obviously very happy and contented.

My wife's mother lived at Saville Manor for the last 18 months of her life. The care she received was outstanding and it was very evident to us as observers that it flowed from good leadership. The team were well organised and efficient, were expected to care and were shown good examples by the senior staff who rolled up sleeves when needed. The friendliness and humanity of the frontline staff were exemplary.

The staff are kind, caring, thoughtful and hard working. They are very observant, proactively manage the distress that our loved ones inevitably experience from time to time and keep us fully informed. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you!

Staff and management are very kind and helpful. My husband settled into this home very quickly and seems extremely happy. I am made very welcome when I visit. The atmosphere in the home is very calm and this seems to transfer to the residents.

I am so pleased that my uncle is at Saville Manor and has been since 2018. The staff are so kind and caring, his room is lovely and his care is excellent. Should I need to go into a nursing home in the future I would certainly choose Saville Manor I cannot fault it.
