I have received excellent care at Clevedon Court Nursing Home. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here. the staff are so lovely. they make you feel valued and cared for. I've stayed at CCNH 4 years ago and found it excellent and it has probably improved under the new management. I would consider returning again the future.

My mother moved to the home at the end of 2025. Staff spent time talking to us as a family to get a good understanding of her likes/dislikes, preference and needs, ensuring they would meet personal care needs through to dietary requirements (food is super yummy too!)
Staff are very friendly, room is immaculately clean and the communal areas are a lovely place to socialise. My mum has been on trips to the garden centre and accessed the community which is great!!

The garden overlooks the cricket field and looks a lovely place to relax in the warmer months.

My dad has been a resident at Clevedon Court for over 2 years and they have made him feel welcome & settled from day 1. All the staff have been incredible and went out their way to get to know my dad and his love for football and his family.

They have been creative to find activities that he can participate in and keep him engaged and stimulated. As his condition has changed and deteriorated, they have flexed what they do and how they support my dad to try to keep him settled and calm still.

The team keep us updated and work with us as a family to ensure dad is ok, settled and happy.

Dad had been in a previous care home before Clevedon Court, who claimed they couldn't cope with my dad and failed to keep him safe.

We therefore moved dad to Clevedon Court and the experience we've received has been another level. We would highly recommend Clevedon Court to everyone, the staff go above and beyond and are absolute angels !

Mum i streated very well. The staff are warm & welcoming and always smiling & happy. They always have time for Mum & laugh at her cheeky comments. It has a clean, tidy & lovely lounge and they dress it for occasions (Easter, etc.) The activities are varied and inclusive. They listen if I have any concerns, overall, mum is very lucky to have a placement there.

It was my husband's 80th birthday on Sunday 25th January. I asked if I could do him a small party. The staff's reaction was to say we will do it. I can not put into words how absolutely wonderful the party was, the lovely sandwiches and food was delicious. I loved how the table was layed out especially the china cups and saucers. The cake in a design of a snooker table was fantastic and so lovely to have a cake home baked. All the above made me and my family realise how lucky my husband is to be at Clevedon Court wth staff that really care and work together as a team. Thank you to you all.

My husband was accompanied to the dental clinic in Weston-Super-Mare by a young male member of staff, who gave outstanding support. Not only did he give my husband reassurance but he also assisted in hoisting him in and out of the dentist's chair, he was the most knowledgeable about how the hoist worked. He then had the dubious pleasure of keeping my husband calm and cheerful while they waited ninety minutes for hospital transport.

The care staff at Clevedon Court Nursing Home are professional and work extremely hard to give my mum an enjoyable life, a friendly and thoughtful experience of support.
We got regular updates from management, and I feel confident to speak to them and the nursing staff should I need to discuss any issues.

Their 'open door' policy works the best for relatives, like me, who work full time and can simply 'pop in' when I can/when I would like.

Following the death of my mother-in-law, who had been a resident for two years at the home, I want to express my thanks in the way she was cared for on the day of her death. The nursing and support staff showed real care and concern throughout this difficult time for my mother-in-law and family present. Staff were also extremely professional in their dealings with NHS medical staff when they arrived, keeping us informed of their progress.

I'm so happy to write about this lovely care facility. My mother was very concerned when it became necessary for her to move into a nursing home as she had previously had a horrible experience at another home. Clevedon Court Nursing Home has and is providing the most wonderful care for my mother, she feels very secure and safe, she is never lonely and the staff are all so warm, kind and friendly. I've been so impressed with not only the wonderful level of care but the cleanliness of the home, particularly the kitchen which is immaculate and the quality of the food is exceptional. I can not say enough good things about this lovely home and I'm so grateful that my mother is cared for so well.

The people who work in Clevedon Court Nursing Home showed kindness, respect and understanding to my aunt. Including the cook and kitchen staff who were also thoughtful and kind.

We were nervous about my aunt going into a home but she was made welcome and made comfortable. I felt that the carers treated her like their own aunt. My aunt was surprised at how nice it was. Knowing my aunt was content took a great deal of pressure off of us.

We were very concerned when mum needed to move, she had had a bad experience in the past. The reviews for Clevedon Court Nursing Home were very positive and our experience has exceeded the reviews in every aspect. The staff are outstanding in the level of care and support they provide. They are well-trained and capable but the way they support mum is friendly and dignified. Mum feels safe and secure at all times. The home is clearly well-run by a team of people who understand the needs of the people they look after. Excellent

My father moved into Clevedon Court Nursing Home last year in a quite unwell state, but with the staff’s care and attention to detail Dad is now thriving. We have been so impressed by the staff at the home who genuinely care about the residents and their well-being. A great example of this was that they enabled us to get my mum and dad together for their 65th wedding anniversary which was very special for us and challenging given the current circumstances. Clevedon Court is very well run and we are very happy with the service that Dad is receiving. Thank you!

My mother-in-law has lived here for two years, and her care has been fantastic.
Whenever she has had periods of illness and been taken to hospital, they have contacted us straight away.
During the Covid Pandemic, they have been marvellous, they have listened to Government Guide Lines, but have always put their residents first. Resulting in not having any Covid cases; truly amazing!
We have stayed in contact with Mum all the way through the pandemic, and she is very happy and feels very safe.
My husband was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2019, and at times, unable to deal with everyday life. Clevedon Court has been very supportive of this to his Mum and also agreeing to me being the first point of contact.

I would very much recommend Clevedon Court, it is well run, and the carer staff are amazing to the extent that Mum thinks of them as grandchild with her being 90!

My aunt is frail but mentally very sharp for her age. The care she has received has been particularly appropriate as her needs as an individual have been established and well communicated across the kind, dedicated staff who care for her.

During Covid the standards of safety at the home have been outstanding and although this limited our access we were so grateful that she was safe.

Reply from Lauren Barnes, Director at Clevedon Court Nursing Home

Thank you, Julia. Your words mean a lot to us - and I know the team will be very grateful to hear how highly you think of them. It's been so frustrating with the limited access, but we're proud to know that you've been able to trust us during this time.

Review from Kathleen S (Daughter of Resident) published on 8 December 2020 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My sister and I took the decision to move mum to Clevedon Court from her previous care home in 2018 and we have been more than delighted with our decision. Mum has vascular dementia, and we feared she did not have long to live. However, once the move to Clevedon Court took place, we noticed some really positive changes in Mum, and now in 2020, she is actually more responsive to stimulation from music (which she loves) and has fun. She is engaged and communicative, and bright. We now think she was thoroughly depressed at her previous home. I cannot begin to tell you the joy we feel in this transformation which I feel can be attributed to the following:
1. Excellent care from people who truly care and are constant, and clearly chosen by the management team for their loving kindness and expertise.
2. An engaging range of activities, even during this most difficult of years, including; Calls on skype, take part in fun things.

Great food, happy carers - Thank you Clevedon Court.
