All needs are catered for. Staff are polite and responsive to residents, staff are also polite and engage with visitors. Nursing staff seem very knowledgeable and keen to resolve any health issues quickly and with care. The premises are clean. Food is well prepared and presented. Food is healthy and with good taste. Overall good place to know they care and that your loved ones are being taken care of. Always activities which they can take part.

My Mum had a relatively short time stay at Ashview Nursing Home after being admitted back from her time in hospital for end of life care. Our family wanted to find a suitable home, which was highly recommended.

On entry to the home, our family members and guests were always made to feel welcome with a friendly greeting to whoever was on duty. There appeared to be a nice atmosphere throughout the home with the staff making this a priority for visitors who attended. The home felt warm, has a lovely garden and the facilities were good. There appeared to be a lot of team work going on and staff looked happy to be there.

The staff spent precious time looking after and tending to Mum with much warmth and care, with compassion and a professional attitude. Any communication updates and concerns our family members needed to hear, were treated with kindness and sensitivity.

The team have enabled Mum to be as comfortable and pain free as possible, which our family are eternally grateful.

The 'open door' approach by the manager if residents & family have any concerns. Field House has a family home feel & under the new management there are many improvements being made to the home.

Note: since last Sat Gerald has been very poorly the nursing staff were immediately aware of this and took the necessary action yet again Clevedon Court are BRILLIANT!

Mum passed away on 21/07/26 peacefully and with full dignity. I will miss the staff & residents of Field House

In the last few years of his life my brother was given every care by Clevedon Court Nursing Home. I was very happy with my choice of home for him.

A home at the centre of Harpenden community clearly improving under new management. Father admitted on emergency respite admission, thanks to the team now moving to a more convenient care home closer to his wife.

My Mum stayed at Field House for a week for respite care. The staff were very welcoming and made a great effort to make her feel at home and to help her to settle in. After a couple of days Mum seemed more relaxed and felt safe. The staff were very good at contacting me to ask about anything they needed clarification about and fed back helpful information about how she was doing when I visited. She said everyone was very friendly and she would definitely be happy to go back for another stay.

An excellent service for all residents and visitors. Staff are all warm, friendly and comforting. They go above and beyond for every occasion and work hard to create memories and smiles. We would reccomend this home and would like to express our sincere thanks for all that they do.

The level of care, compassion and attentiveness shown by every member of the team goes above and beyond expectations. It is felt by residents and family members that the staff are happy to serve and always with a smile. The activities they host are suited to resident needs and adapted where necessary and family and friends are always kept updated and invited. We would recommend this care home for anyone looking for exceptional care in a safe, friendly and happy environment with a professional team which feel like an extended family.

I have received excellent care at Clevedon Court Nursing Home. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here. the staff are so lovely. they make you feel valued and cared for. I've stayed at CCNH 4 years ago and found it excellent and it has probably improved under the new management. I would consider returning again the future.

The garden overlooks the cricket field and looks a lovely place to relax in the warmer months.

Although my husband was the patient, we both received every kindness and consideration from every member of staff and were visited by the chef who kindly reassured us that he would order in exactly the right kinds of food for my husbands illness. The activities varied morning and afternoon each day with enthusiastic help from several staff members. A wonderful nursing home to be recommended highly.

My dad has been a resident at Clevedon Court for over 2 years and they have made him feel welcome & settled from day 1. All the staff have been incredible and went out their way to get to know my dad and his love for football and his family.

They have been creative to find activities that he can participate in and keep him engaged and stimulated. As his condition has changed and deteriorated, they have flexed what they do and how they support my dad to try to keep him settled and calm still.

The team keep us updated and work with us as a family to ensure dad is ok, settled and happy.

Dad had been in a previous care home before Clevedon Court, who claimed they couldn't cope with my dad and failed to keep him safe.

We therefore moved dad to Clevedon Court and the experience we've received has been another level. We would highly recommend Clevedon Court to everyone, the staff go above and beyond and are absolute angels !

The Staff welcomed the whole Family with open arms & we'll be forever grateful.

For care and recuperation following operation. Total care with nursing as necessary experienced. Attention and support brilliant. Food and drink wonderful, just let down by a few disappointing meals. Otherwise a big thank you.
