An excellent service for all residents and visitors. Staff are all warm, friendly and comforting. They go above and beyond for every occasion and work hard to create memories and smiles. We would reccomend this home and would like to express our sincere thanks for all that they do.

The level of care, compassion and attentiveness shown by every member of the team goes above and beyond expectations. It is felt by residents and family members that the staff are happy to serve and always with a smile. The activities they host are suited to resident needs and adapted where necessary
and family and friends are always kept updated and invited. We would recommend this care home for anyone looking for exceptional care in a safe, friendly and happy environment with a professional team which feel like an extended family.
Reply from Haris Khan, Chief Executive Officer at Broome EndThank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate them. I will be passing your review on to the team.

I have received excellent care at Clevedon Court Nursing Home. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here. the staff are so lovely. they make you feel valued and cared for. I've stayed at CCNH 4 years ago and found it excellent and it has probably improved under the new management. I would consider
returning again the future.
Reply from Haris Khan, Chief Executive Officer at Clevedon Court Nursing HomeThank you so much for your review! We are happy to year you had a positive experience at our facility so many years ago.

My mother moved to the home at the end of 2025. Staff spent time talking to us as a family to get a good understanding of her likes/dislikes, preference and needs, ensuring they would meet personal care needs through to dietary requirements (food is super yummy too!)
Staff are very friendly, room
is immaculately clean and the communal areas are a lovely place to socialise. My mum has been on trips to the garden centre and accessed the community which is great!!
The garden overlooks the cricket field and looks a lovely place to relax in the warmer months.
Reply from H Khan, Chief Executive Officer at Clevedon Court Nursing HomeThank you for this lovely review. I will share it with the team!

My dad has been a resident at Clevedon Court for over 2 years and they have made him feel welcome & settled from day 1. All the staff have been incredible and went out their way to get to know my dad and his love for football and his family.
They have been creative to find activities that he
can participate in and keep him engaged and stimulated. As his condition has changed and deteriorated, they have flexed what they do and how they support my dad to try to keep him settled and calm still.
The team keep us updated and work with us as a family to ensure dad is ok, settled and happy.
Dad had been in a previous care home before Clevedon Court, who claimed they couldn't cope with my dad and failed to keep him safe.
We therefore moved dad to Clevedon Court and the experience we've received has been another level. We would highly recommend Clevedon Court to everyone, the staff go above and beyond and are absolute angels !
Reply from H Khan, Chief Executive Officer at Clevedon Court Nursing HomeThank you so much. We are so grateful that things have worked out well for him. The team at Cleveland Court adores him.

My Dad went to Ashview as we'd heard good things about the home
We wasn't disappointed, even though my Dads stay wasn't very long, he was treated with kindness & respect .In my Dads own words he said he felt very safe & looked after.
The Staff welcomed the whole Family with open arms &
we'll be forever grateful.

- Overall experience good. Key concern was room size, access to the ensuite toilet was difficult, large and sophisticated bed seemed to overwhelm the limited space. (Room 23)
- Food seemed excellent in my limited experience.
- Staff had good English, but foreign accents difficult for the aged and
hard of hearing.
- The best use was made of building not designed for the purpose. Lifts good.
Reply from Haris Khan, Chief Executive Officer at Field House Care HomeThank you for your honest feedback and for recognising the positives in our home.
We're thrilled you enjoyed the excellent food and appreciated the effective use of our building, including the reliable lifts - these are key to creating a welcoming, practical environment for residents.
Your observations about Room 23 are valuable; we prioritise resident comfort and ease of movement, and we'll review the layout to enhance space.
We also celebrate the diversity of our team, whose varied backgrounds and stories enrich residents' daily lives with fresh perspectives, cultural insights, and engaging conversations that make every day more vibrant. Our staff are trained in clear, patient, inclusive communication to ensure everyone - especially those with hearing challenges - feels heard and valued.
Thank you again - your input helps us continue delivering exceptional care.

Mum i streated very well. The staff are warm & welcoming and always smiling & happy. They always have time for Mum & laugh at her cheeky comments. It has a clean, tidy & lovely lounge and they dress it for occasions (Easter, etc.) The activities are varied and inclusive. They listen if I have any concerns,
overall, mum is very lucky to have a placement there.
Reply from H Khan, Director at Clevedon Court Nursing HomeThank you - this is such a lovely review. Our Team is especially proud of the fact that they spend time with the residents, which is ultimately what we all need. Human connection!

Came in for respite care in June 2025. Became a permanent resident within 6 weeks.
I struggled to settle initially, even though the staff were kind and patient. My condition is rare and therefore it's not immediately apparent what my needs are.
My main issue is that I have to call staff to enable
me to get to the toilet but they then leave me for too long sitting on the toilet. I would prefer them to stay close by to help me off the toilet when I'm ready.
I would like to have a full and proper shower not just a fleeting spray over!
I do struggle with communication/speech, the staff are patient with me.
The daily activities have improved considerably recently making the mornings fun, with a community feel.
Although I wish I could have continued to live in my home, Field House is becoming my home.
Reply from Fran Donno, Customer Service Adviser at Field House Care HomeWe appreciate you sharing your experience with our home. It is always wonderful to hear words like "Kind" and "Patient" being used to describe our staff. We want our home to feel like a community, and it's lovely to hear that you feel a part of it. We will discuss your feedback with the home's manager to help them continually improve their service. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything more we can do.

My overall experience of Field House has been excellent. Mum has been here for7 months after we found that she wasn't coping at all on her own due to her rare medical condition.
The relief that she is being cared for , well fed and watered, and most importantly that she is safe from serious injuries,
is immense.
Mum looks brighter, has put on weight( she was underweight) she is healthier and happier now. It's lovely to walk towards and see her smiling again.
All the staff are friendly, polite, caring and considerate to Mum, and all her family.
The rules are. "It's your Mum's home".
There is a varied daily activity schedule. Crafts, quiz's, sound and dog therapy and a choir!! This is a small example of the activities. The staff follow 'national days'. They are currently gearing up for a Valentines lunch with a profession singer attending. The home is decorated with hearts that the residents have created.
Any issues/problems are quickly resolved. Management are very approachable
Reply from Fran Donno, Customer Service Adviser at Field House Care HomeWe're so grateful that you've taken the time to share your thoughts. We want our home to feel like a community, and it's wonderful to hear that you and your Mum feel a part of it. Hearing that our care brings you peace of mind truly means so much to us and it is so lovely to hear that your Mum is smiling and that she is happy. We're committed to continuing to support you and your family in every way we can.

It was my husband's 80th birthday on Sunday 25th January. I asked if I could do him a small party. The staff's reaction was to say we will do it. I can not put into words how absolutely wonderful the party was, the lovely sandwiches and food was delicious. I loved how the table was layed out especially
the china cups and saucers. The cake in a design of a snooker table was fantastic and so lovely to have a cake home baked. All the above made me and my family realise how lucky my husband is to be at Clevedon Court wth staff that really care and work together as a team. Thank you to you all.
Reply from Haris Khan, Chief Executive Officer at Clevedon Court Nursing HomeThank you for your wonderful review. This really is everything we hope to achieve for our residents. I am so happy that the team was able to give your husband a special birthday.

My husband has been in Brook House since October as his needs made it too challenging to cope at home. Brook House was recommended by a resident we met in hospital who spoke highly of it. Having visited several homes Brook House had much more of a family feel, yes the building is old and has its issues
which must have its own challenges for the team, but it also gives it its character.
From the first contact the support and help you receive is excellent and everyone is very friendly coping with the challenges I was unable to manage. It has been an enormous relief to me that my husband is being cared for so well. Everyday he comments about how nice the team are. You can visit at any time and you're always made to feel welcome. I would recommend Brook House to anyone

My wife has been a resident of Brook House for over 5 years now. We feel she is part of that family and is treated as such. This is her home!
It is heartening to know that the Manager has an "open door" policy. In essence this means she makes herself available to chat, listen and address key issues.
I can say this from personal experience. I consider Brook House a 'Small Home with a Big Heart'. We personally know all the staff and they know us. Moreover, the management, nurses and carers are familiar with my wife's specific individual needs. It's also comforting to know that both the cares and nurses constantly call or keep us posted of appointments, medications, my wife's condition etc.
Brook House has other benefits for my wife -- her church is across the green from the Nursing Home and she loves the food!! What's more the GP's Surgery and the Dentist are within walking distance. Altogether reassuring.
Reply from Haris Khan, Chief Executive Officer at Brook House Nursing & Residential HomeWhat a heartening message to read! Thank you for your wonderful words about the team and our home.

Feel that the whole place needs redecorating. Is very run down.
The staff are all very friendly & look after Mum as best they can.
I think laundry could be better as some of Mums cardigans havent been laundered properly.
Food is good.

My mother has been in Fieldhouse for 12 months, in this time there has been '3' managers, various members of staff have left and now appears to be running with the bare minimum. The activities have been very poor and always seem unplanned and rushed. (lack of staff) It took me 4 months to get regular
updates on my mothers overall health and well being and this was with me visiting weekly. The change of managers doesn't seem to change anything, when I'm there they are always in meetings!!! Please note the majority of the staff are amazing.
Reply from Natasha Burns-Leigh, Customer Service Advisor at Field House Care HomeThank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry your experience didn't meet the standards we aim to provide. Following a recent change in management, we have introduced additional support and training to ensure continuity of care and maintain our high standards. Resident wellbeing remains our top priority, and we would welcome the chance to discuss this further. Please contact our Feedback Team at feedback@bupa.com or call 0113 381 6293.

Ashview Nursing Home is a very good, well organised Nursing Home. All staff do a very difficult job very well indeed. My late mother was made very welcome and comfortable by the staff, as were all the visitors to my mother. The operation of the end of life care enabled my mother to have a comfortable,
pain free stay. Overall, very impressed and very thankful.

My husband was accompanied to the dental clinic in Weston-Super-Mare by a young male member of staff, who gave outstanding support. Not only did he give my husband reassurance but he also assisted in hoisting him in and out of the dentist's chair, he was the most knowledgeable about how the hoist worked.
He then had the dubious pleasure of keeping my husband calm and cheerful while they waited ninety minutes for hospital transport.
