This is an extremely excellent home, resident staff are kind, caring and sympathetic. My brother, who is the resident, has been at Oak Tree for almost 20 years and has been nursed back from the Coronavirus for which I am so very grateful.

My husband was here for the last year of his life. I have been constantly impressed with the standard of care in the dementia nursing unit. He was treated with dignity, great skill, and lots of love and care by the staff. He responded well to fun and teasing, and the staff were quick to pick up on that.
There were little touches, like them moving photos we had stuck on the wall to be in his line of sight so that he could enjoy them. They were patient with him, kept him safe, and adapted to his ever-changing needs, I enjoyed visiting and still feel very fond of what very much became his home.

My mum has been in the Oak Tree Care Home for a year now and needs 24-hour care.
Since the day she arrived, they have been superb. The staff are so friendly not just to the residents but relatives as well, nothing is too much trouble. The home is always kept clean and always have a good atmosphere.
The food in there is always superb quality and served very professionally. I come over most weekends from Belgium to see my mum and when I go home, I leave knowing she is in great hands.

My wife and I had the need to find a care home for her mum following a series of falls and a short period in hospital. The staff at South Gloucestershire Council were very good in helping us with this not so nice task. We were offered various homes to look at but we choose Oak Tree as our first option
due to it being a short walk from our home.


When we agreed to proceed with Oak Tree we visited to select a room for Mum and the young lady showed us the various options and explained how things work.


We were dreading Mum arriving as we were concerned that her view on the matter wouldn't be very good, bearing in mind that at this stage Mum was very poorly and fragile.


How wrong could we have been? The staff welcoming party was really nice and we couldn't have asked for more. Since Mum's arrival and throughout the duration of her stay ALL staff were exceptionally kind and caring. Mum loved every minute of her stay.

My brother is very happy here in Oak Tree Care Home. The food is very good and he is well looked after. They attend to his every need. He enjoys going to the dining room where he is encouraged to communicate with other residents.


I find the staff very approachable as well as polite and caring. I

would recommend this care home.
