My father-in-law has been at Cadogan Court for 5 years. The home has always operated at the highest standard and my wife and I cannot speak highly enough of Cadogan.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for all of the support you have both given to the home during the time your father in law has been with us, it really is greatly appreciated.
My parents moved in together and have been so happy in the time they have lived there. All of their needs are taken care of and nothing is too much trouble for any of the kind staff. Everyone is warm , welcoming and any requests that we have made have been accommodated. The whole care home is a clean, bright, airy and well maintained home from home. Mum has been able to use the hair salon and, at last after years , has been able to get her weekly hair appts back into her routine! Her nails are next for an overhaul! As an extended family group , we were able to celebrate a 4 generation Mothers Day all together this year and with a wonderful three course lunch in the restaurant. Mum and Dad could not be happier there and I could ask for no more.
It is heartwarming to see the devotion they have for each other and to hear how proud they are of their family. We are so happy that they chose to come to Cadogan Court.
Dad moved to Cadogan Court in Sept 2025 and we have been happy from the outset. The environment is very pleasant and welcoming. Staff are courteous and kind. As a family we have been able to participate in activities at the home and the build up to Christmas was very special. We have peace of mind knowing Dad is somewhere safe, warm and caring.
Warmest Regards
Clare
My parents came into Cadogan Court in April for respite but quickly decided to stay. They both received superb care from the housekeepers to the manager - nothing is ever too much. Sadly Mum died in July and Dad was supported in his grief. His life ended in hospital on October 4th and again all the staff supported me. They are genuine carers and team leader is wonderful.
Thank you for your kind words. Although Mum and Dad were with us for but a short time, they very embraced living in the home and quickly part of the Cadogan Court family. Thank you for all of the support you and your family have given to Cadogan Court, Mum and Dad will be remembered with very fond memories.
I am 100% satisfied wtih my care at Cadogan Court.
Thank you for your 5 star feedback. We are so pleased that you are happy with the care being provided and that you chose to become part of the Cadogan Court family.
A high level of professionalism is provided by all staff. If a resident's requirement cannot be met, time is taken to explain why and a suitable alternative is found. The food is of a high quality with a good variety. The accommodation is well-maintained and clean. As you will learn from my comment, I am a very satisfied resident.
I find it a very caring home, clean and warm. Staff always on hand to update on mother. They all care as if it's their own family. Which leaves you happy to leave them in their care.
Thank you for choosing us to support Mum, we like to think of all of our residents and their loved ones as part of the Cadogan Court family. Your kind words are greatly appreciated. Warmest regards
A clean caring and supportive home. Excellent staff who go above and beyond. If needed always and warm welcome by all staff when visiting.
Thank you for your kind words, we value your support and we know Mum looks forward to your visits. Warmest regards
Everyone working in Cadogan Court is very friendly and caring. The option to use a restaurant, dining room or lounge for meals - not to mention your own bedroom - makes my mum feel she is on holiday. There are always staff available on her dementia ward should they be needed.
Thank you for your kind and positive words. We hope to have a full activity team soon, which will allow us to improve on the current activity programme, which I feel will enhance the care that we provide. We also have a lot of positive changes planned within the Dementia House, so we look forward to working with our residents and their loved ones to add in their personal touches and preferences.
We are extremely happy with the care and support give to my mother. The staff's understanding of our mother's condition and the care they have given her has been of the highest standard. We would also like to thank all the staff for the support they have given to us as a family.
Thank you for your lovely review and thank you for trusting us with the care of your mum, as a team we strive to support each person and their loved ones as we would like our own family members to be supported.
The building is clean and light with views over the city and there is plenty of outdoor space and seating. The rooms are spacious, but sometimes we enjoy being able to take my mother to one of the cosy lounges when we visit her. Having sampled the food, I can attest to the fact that the catering is excellent and the chef will cater for individual needs.
We’re very happy to have found such an excellent care home.
Warmest Regards.
I had to make one of the hardest decisions in my life and put my mum into a care home. Cadogan Court was my first choice and it definitely didn't disappoint me. The staff and team are so lovely and they have made my mum feel so welcome and she is so happy, nothing is too much trouble for them. It's a lovely modern building, very clean, tidy and so welcoming. There is always lots of activities for the residents to join in with. Thank you to everyone for caring for my mum.
With Warmest Regards.
My first contact with Cadogan Court was on the telephone and was greeted by the most pleasant and professional person ever! This was the ongoing theme as we progressed through the system. Once we had registered and had an off-site evaluation, we saw the court and were so impressed. A beautiful, modern building, beautifully clean and welcoming. Every member of the team, from the home manager down, are so kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Always available to chat and reassure too!
Thank you so much for your kind and supportive words. Here at Cadogan Court we believe that our residents are the heart of our home and we are all fortunate to be able to share it with them. We are grateful for all of the support we continue to receive from our residents and their loved ones, it helps create a more personalised service. Warmest regards.
Mum lived at Cadogan Court for fifteen months and, in that time, the care and consideration that Mum got from all the staff was excellent. The whole care home is run with a real professionalism and understanding for the resident, making the experience feel that this is your home. Sadly, Mum passed away at Cadogan, but the end of life care was exceptional. Both myself and my wife will be eternally grateful and would not hesitate in recommending Cadogan as a top care home.
Thank you for your kind words and sentiments. Mum was a very special lady, she will be missed by all here at Cadogan Court, but remembered with great fondness. We are thankful we were able to support her in her latter years and grateful for the trust she and yourselves put in us when choosing Cadogan Court. With warmest regards, Home Manager.
The home seems heavily reliant on agency staff and Mum reports the proportion, relative to the regular staff, has increased in the last year and that there are always new faces.
Mum is immobile and relies on the staff for all her personal needs. She reports that it now seems to take longer for a member of staff to attend to her when she presses her 'call button' and she is regularly told that she is in a queue for assistance and must wait. She recognises that the care staff are stretched much of the time and do their best.
The home tries to offer a programme of activities but at times this has been very limited and if staff are not available to take Mum to the activity she cannot attend. Mum therefore spends most of her time alone in her room which she finds monotonous.
Thank you for your positive comments and for highlighting your concerns. The past few years have been challenging and we value the support given by yourself and other relatives. As a result of an increase in admissions, we have increased our staff numbers and, as Mum has rightly stated, we filled...
I have the utmost admiration for the level of care and attention given by all members of staff, making this a happy "home". Outings and events are frequent and indoor facilities well provided for, i.e. T.V. etc. Visitors are most welcome and family members are made to feel comfortable. Communications between home and carers are well catered for. Medical aid is always on hand and well supervised. I for one, considering the circumstances that brought me into the home, am very satisfied.
My sisters and I would like to praise the manager and her leadership team and all the magnificent staff for their wonderful hard work on behalf of all the residents. They are always helpful and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble!
Our mum’s care was first class. She felt safe, warm, well cared for and never lonely. During the Pandemic the home worked tirelessly to keep the residents safe and where possible attempted to continue to provide activities and keep a sense of normality. The home ensured that visiting pods and visiting rooms were made available to relatives as soon as possible. I became an essential carer when allowed and was made to feel very welcome, spending some precious last few months with mum in her room again.
In conclusion, I would not hesitate in recommending this home to your loved ones. It is a real gem of a place and I will miss my visits there!
The care and love he has received in Cadogan Court Care Home is really quite exceptional.
Letting a care home look after your loved ones is a massive decision and can bring on many anxious moments.
I can only say that the care and attention he is receiving is truly unsurpassed, compared to many others we have experienced in other situations with my own parents, my uncle and other visits to homes in my professional career.
A massive thank you to all involved, keep up the truly great standards, especially challenging given the past couple of years.
Well done!
High quality care with superb facilities.
My experience on my arrival in early March, I was made to feel very welcome and felt at home right away. Considering I had lived in Minehead for 82 years, this felt like home. Safety is excellent, the staff are first class, and very helpful every day. The meals, especially breakfast, is the finest you will ever have.
