I am very impressed with Knapp Cross Care. It's very well handled. Management are very friendly, caring to all the patients. My wife is well looked after: never too much for the hard-working staff.

The room is lovely, I enjoy coming here. There's always a warm greeting from all the staff and management.

I would recommend it to my friends! The meals are fantastic!

My father has been resident for four years having lost his mobility. My mother who has myeloma joined him in February 2017.
They have received excellent treatment but my mother's health deteriorated recently and all members of staff have been excellent and worked so hard to make them happy and comfortable. They all went beyond their job remit. I cannot praise them more highly. I would recommend anybody to go to Knappe Cross. The recent change of manager has improved the home even more, if that is possible.

Thank you, everybody - you are wonderful.

My husband has been in the care home since 11th January 2017 and has received great care and respect from dedicated staff. They do a most difficult job with smiling faces and humour. The management go out of their way to consider and carry out some of the requests I have made to make my husband's life a bit happier

The staff here are lovely. My mum loves the banter and looks forward to seeing them and they are very kind and caring too. The home is clean and has nice communal room, although my Mum's room is a bit on the dark side, we feel like it's a family. The food is very good and our mum has put on weight.

On my visits, I'm very pleased with mums care. Mum is very fond of two of the carers and I think they are excellent. Mum has settled well and is happy I'm able to say as I think it is a lovely care home and very welcoming and the atmosphere is great.

Knappe Cross is a lovely care home in a homely setting, the management and staff are first class, everything is so well run, my wife is very happy there. You always feel welcomed there. The food is excellent and the residents are treated with great respect. They also have nice entertainment sometimes which I can see the residents enjoy very much, I would recommend Knappe Cross to anyone.

Very welcoming when my husband first moved in (August) and helped the difficult transition to full-time care very well.

Staff are very kind and friendly. Nursing standard is high. Very accommodating with regard to special requests i.e clothes for special occasions, getting ready to be taken out.

My aunt, now 96, has been at Knappe Cross for 2 1/2 years following a broken leg. Nearly every visit she says "This is a nice place - I could recommend it to anyone, and the food is good". She never mentions the house she left behind, so she must be happy! Staff keep us informed about changes to her health and are particularly caring now she has become very frail. Lovely old building with extensive grounds and a cup of tea always provided for visitors! Well done Knappe Cross

My dad has been here for the last two years but sadly he has come to the end of his life. He was really reluctant to go into a home but he settled well. Staff very caring and I would definitely recommend.
