My family would like to express our thanks to the staff of the care home. Our Aunt and Uncle were placed into Windsor court following a lengthy stay in Hospital in 2023.They were welcomed by all and that made a great difference. Sadly my uncle died in hospital following an illness. The home offered to hold a small memorial wake for my uncle. This was arranged for last week and the home staff engaged fully with the family and my aunt in the preparations. Photographs were used to create a memorial slide show of my uncle's life with his wife. Background music was sourced that matched my relative's tastes. A memorial keepsake note was also created. Food and drinks were arranged for the visiting guests. The food was exceptional and even had labels created for some guests who had food intolerances. We all had a very memorable and pleasant afternoon in conversation and thoughts about my aunt and uncle's life together in the Bournemouth area over 50 years. Our thanks to all involved.

From the first moment we moved my mother to Windsor Court up to present time, I can't praise enough the support I received from management and the staff have been beyond imagination. The safety, cleanliness, kindness and everything you can imagine. The best experience and I would recommend this care home to everybody. Thank you very much for everything and your constant support.

I am so glad I chose Windsor Court Care Home for my husband as the staff are so caring of all the residents. They are very kind and helpful, both to my husband and myself. In his previous care home, I used to worry about him all the time, but at Windsor Court I know I can trust them to do their absolute best all the time, giving me so much peace of mind.

Everyone is very welcoming and caring to only for residents but visitors too. It's a lovely home, with lots of activities and days out for residents, whether they were to be involved or stay in their rooms. Every week, they have one-on-ones with staff. However, my dad has been quite poorly lately and can not move his arms. The staff here have been very patient and caring, and I am so very grateful for this, thank you.

Since my dad arrived here last October 2022 and he has been so happy. He loves the friendliness of everyone. The staff always make us feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is sensitive to my dad's needs. He loves singing and there is a picture on his door with his name on which he loves. I would highly recommend this home. The activities are very creative too, which Dad loves.

My mum has been at Windsor Court since June 2022. I have found the staff to be very friendly and caring towards my mum. I was really struggling at first to leave my mum as I did care for her but couldn't continue and I feel my mum is in safe hands. Thank you for what you do for my mum.

Mum is 88 and diagnosed with vascular dementia. She went into Windsor Court Care Home for 2 weeks of respite which enabled me to have a very much-needed break. The Support Manager came to our house to do an assessment of mum's needs - she was warm, friendly and professional in her approach. As this was our first interaction with a care home provider, she was very informative and put our minds at rest by answering all our questions and making the process as easy as possible. From the manager to all the care staff that we encountered, everyone was so positive, helpful and kind and treated Mum with utmost respect and dignity. Mum's room was lovely and bright and had a view overlooking the garden - there were fresh flowers in Mum's room when we arrived and tablecloths and fresh flowers on the dining room tables. Mum's verdict of the care home and staff is that "it was faultless". I heartily recommend Windsor Court Care Home and will use it again.

Mum became a resident of Windsor Court Care Home in January of this year. Mum has been a bit of a challenge as she has been unsettled at times. Mum has needed a lot of support to adjust. Everyone at Windsor Court has taken on this challenge and with joint support and communication, I feel very happy that they are meeting Mum's needs. All the carers are always so friendly and helpful. The activities coordinator goes above and beyond to support and organise fantastic activities for all the residents. I am very happy and satisfied with Mum's care!

Mum was admitted to Windsor Court on 1/8/22. Having looked at various homes - I found Windsor Court by far the best. All the residents seem content, and there's always a good ratio of carers to clients. Mum adjusted very quickly to life at Windsor Court. She particularly enjoys the garden and library and all the activities that are organised. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my choice of home.

My aunty moved from a nursing home in Kent to Windsor Court one month ago.

At the previous home, she was bed-bound and eating mashed food with little hope of any quality of life. Now at Windsor Court with the support of the amazing staff, she is up in a wheelchair, joining in with activities and eating fish and chips in the dining room! My brother and I are quite simply amazed and very grateful for the progress she has made and to see her smiling and communicating is wonderful with others.

Mum had been in hospital and a nursing home prior to Windsor Court, so she was understandably anxious and unsettled on arrival. Also, not being able to view the home before Mum went there because of Covid, it was difficult to know whether she would be OK.

Happily now though, she does seem to be settling in well. The staff are very responsive to any requests and on any occasions where I have met them, they always seem to be very cheerful and helpful. I would certainly recommend the home.

It's in an isolated residential area suited for its function. Good parking area, pleasing exterior, as a former private hotel has ensuite bedrooms and lifts to floors, spacious dining room and kitchen service hatch. Lighting good and small garden as well. Quality of care cannot be faulted and adequate night service. Activities well run by three staff members. Good standard of food and general hygiene. Recommend people to come and see. Prompt management.

I was concerned when my mother needed residential care. She went to Windsor Court from the hospital. I need not have worried; since being there, she has been treated with respect and dignity. Staff are wonderful and so caring. I am always welcomed when I visit, and the lovely staff have become my second family. I feel so happy in the knowledge my mum is well cared for and happy. Thank you, Windsor Court.

Katherine FeltonJob Title:Registered Manager

I joined Windsor Court as a Senior Care Assistant but within the year progressed to the role of Duty Manager and have now taken on the role of Home Manager, completing my registration in July 2024.

I was inspired and passionate about end-of-life care by my Nan who I cared for at the end of her life. It’s especially important to ensure the emotional side of this journey is very special for everyone concerned and involved and to ensure people receive the best possible care and the utmost dignity when they pass.

I really enjoy working at Windsor Court, I work with a great team where everyone helps each other, there is very good communication and we are just like one big family. The training provided is very good and I receive great support from the entire team.

I have worked at Windsor Court since 2023, but with all the wonderful residents, families and colleagues I have gotten to know, it feels like I have been here much longer.

Since the moment I first stepped into Windsor Court, it broke my preconceptions of what a care home is. It was a warm, friendly environment, I instantly felt welcomed by the staff and residents.

In my role at Windsor Court, I support the Home Manager with daily tasks such as supervisions, staff training and carrying out pre-assessments for potential residents. I also provide support to the team on the floor, helping residents with personal care tasks and supporting with medication administration.

I am so grateful to the management at Windsor Court for enabling me to progress and grow into my current role as Support Manager.

I have been a member of the Windsor Court care team since 2023; however, it feels like a millennium because of the bond that we have developed as a team. In May 2025, I was promoted to the role of Care Manager. Daily, my role at Windsor Court has me working with stakeholders from diverse entities. It is both challenging and exciting to be part of a team that strives to make each and every service user receive the best care. I administer medication to the residents. I interact with other health care professionals; this may involve advocating for our residents so that they receive the best care.

Easily my favourite part about my job is interacting with residents and their relatives. I am fascinated by the wonderful lives they have led. I have the pleasure of being their friend and carer, and I get to hear a lifetime worth of memories and lessons. The teamwork at home is fantastic; I work with wonderful people. Their desire is to share knowledge and experience in a judgment-free zone.

I first joined Windsor Court in February 2022 in the role of Health Care Assistant and within 6 months I was promoted to Senior Care Assistant. I love the family feel at Windsor Court and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others. My job keeps me busy administering medicines to residents, liaising with GP teams and nurses, as well as ensuring the residents’ care plans are kept up to date. No two days are the same at Windsor Court and that variety in my day-to-day experience is something I really like.

I enjoy working with the team at Windsor Court, they are a group of such passionate and caring people and we work well together as a team. I relish in the opportunities provided by Windsor Court and Beritaz Care to progress in my career and develop my skills, it is a wonderful place to work.

I have been a part of the Windsor Court team since November 2023. My role at Windsor Court is Senior Care Assistant, and my career has centred around caring for others for much of my life. At Windsor Court, I am able to spend lots of time with the residents and have lots of interactions with them each day.

My role as Senior Care Assistant is to provide care for our residents, administer medication and to help the residents with their personal care. Safeguarding our residents is a main focus for my role. I also work with the residents to make sure they are taking care of themselves and establish if they need any additional support with things like fluid intake, personal hygiene or oral care. Because of this, I find communication is important in my role and building good relationships with the residents is key.

I have been working in the care team at Windsor Court since August 2022. I moved to the UK just before starting the role. The management at Windsor Court and Beritaz Care were wonderful and really helped me to settle in after my move. Joining the Windsor Court team was like finding a new family in another part of the world. I felt welcomed straight away.

I have been working within the care industry for quite some time, having worked in care homes in Africa before I moved to the UK. Working with the elderly and helping those who cannot help themselves is my passion. I feel good knowing I have made a positive impact on someone’s life. I enjoy having the chance to get to know the residents, spending time chatting and interacting with them, and providing any emotional support they may also need. Seeing how well all of the staff and residents communicate with each other is something I really appreciate about working at Windsor Court.

I have always liked looking after people, knowing I am helping others and making their lives better. I have been a part of the Windsor Court team since March 2025 and really enjoy my job as a Care Assistant.

I very much enjoy what I do; my job is focused on looking after the residents and making sure their needs are met. I have enjoyed having the chance to get to know the residents better. I like listening to their life stories; we have so many interesting conversations, and I have learned a lot from them.

I have found Windsor Court to be a great place to work. It is a very professional work setting, and the home is very well organised. They have created a very friendly and welcoming environment. The team are all great, I am fortunate to have great colleagues to work with each day.

Bibin Scaria
Bibin ScariaJob Title:Care AssistantJoined: 2022

I have been part of the team at Windsor Court Care Home since 2022. I was drawn to the care industry because I wanted a career with purpose. Knowing that my everyday actions, whether big or small, directly enhance someone's independence, dignity, and wellbeing is what inspires me in my role within the care team. In 2026, I was nominated for the Unsung Hero Award at the Dorset Care Awards and was named as a finalist.

As a health care assistant, my daily job involves providing compassionate, hands-on care to help our residents feel comfortable, safe, and supported. A huge part of my role is offering emotional support, whether that’s sharing a conversation or simply being a friendly face to offer reassurance when someone is feeling anxious. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a resident smile, knowing I am helping them to feel safe.

Through the meaningful relationships I build with the residents, I get to learn who they are beyond their care plans. Every resident has a lifetime of incredible stories and wisdom to share. They all have such a unique sense of humour, and taking a few moments during the day to listen to their stories or share a joke means the world to them—and to me. Seeing their faces light up when I walk into the room, knowing I have made them feel safe, respected, and truly heard, is the most fulfilling part of what I do.

Hi, I have been part of the activities team working at Windsor Court since November 2018. Previously, I worked at another care home managed by Beritaz Care for 2 years.

Applying for an activities organiser's role was a whole new career for me, using skills from my previous life, knowledge and experience. I feel privileged to provide a variety of activities to support resident’s individual interests and hobbies, no two days are the same, and the greatest gift is seeing the residents happy, I am truly able to say I have the best job!

I am part of a team and organisation that really cares about one another, the support and training you receive is very good. If you feel you are ready for a change in career you couldn’t choose a more supportive organisation than the Beritaz Care Group to work for.

My role at Windsor Court involves overseeing the domestic team at the home, who are responsible for making sure that our residents have a clean, tidy and sanitary environment to live in. This includes tasks like checking and cleaning all the rooms in the home, doing the laundry, ironing residents’ clothes and delivering them to their rooms. I am also responsible for checking the COSHH-covered chemicals that we use for cleaning the home and ordering the chemicals as they are needed. These are just some of the tasks I do every day at the home.

I first joined the Windsor Court team in November 2018; it was my first job in the care industry. I have made so many great memories in my time here, getting to know the residents, being involved in the summer parties at the home, and helping to shop for gifts for the residents at Christmas. I love being a part of the Windsor Court team because everyone is so nice and kind to each other; I am lucky to work with such a wonderful team. My favourite part of my job is being able to interact with the residents, it is the affection I feel for the elderly people in the home that makes me so happy to work in this field.

I joined the team at Windsor Court in August 2022 as Administrator. Before taking on this role, I had worked for over 6 years as an Industrial Engineer across the manufacturing sector in Venezuela. This event really inspired my interest in the care industry and my decision to pursue this role.

I was fortunate to find a great opportunity at Windsor Court to grow professionally as well as personally. Working within the home has given me the chance to support others, helping them to live a fulfilling life, as well as utilising my skills and knowledge from my previous life experiences.
