Overall Experience

My mother chose Millbrook Lodge after three visits, as her most favoured home. Since then, although expressing a desire to go home, if possible, she has repeatedly told us that she is well cared for, well fed and very happy there. The carers often go beyond their duty to help my mother in every possible way and indeed, have helped my family emotionally too. We have nothing but praise for Millbrook Lodge and its carers and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much.

Everyone is very respectful to residents and family members. All aspects of this residential care home is truly excellent. I would highly recommend this care home as it is reassuring to know that your loved one is really cared for in a 'home from home' environment. I cannot thank everyone enough in this care home for their commitment and dedication to making my family member happy, safe and secure.

Overall Experience

My mother went into Millbrook Lodge following her discharge from hospital after suffering two strokes. I was extremely anxious about this huge life change for my mum but from the first day staff at Millbrook have been friendly, welcoming and supportive. They are patient and persistent in helping mum to make choices - and this is no easy task as mums speech has not returned following her strokes. Visitors are made welcome at any time of day and staff always make time to discuss any concerns I may have.
