My husband moved to Immacolata House in August 2021 during the time of more Covid restrictions, subsequently, these have eased, and now, as an "essential carer", I am able to visit three times weekly. The environment is good. A spacious room with en-suite, dining and lounge areas with home comforts. Staffing levels appear to be excellent, caring, kind and sensitive to his needs, and also to mine. My husband is cared for, most importantly, with dignity. The meals provided are varied, first-class, and always, he is offered a choice. The staff are working hard to maintain his mobility and engage him in any activities that are possible following extensive research and time at Immacolata House. I really believe my husband is in the best possible, professional hands. Communication with the staff has been excellent.

My father went to live in Immacolata House from Nov 2019 until April 2020 where he passed away. What amazing people work there, my father was not the easiest to look after but the staff were amazing with him, he would laugh with them and I felt he was safe and looked after. I work nights, so I would ring 3 am and every time the staff were happy to answer my questions, there were a lot of questions some times. I can't thank the staff enough they made a very hard decision easy for me. You are all wonderful, my father was so happy with you. Thank you all.

Over the five years, our Mum has been in your care, she has been treated with dignity as an individual. You can see that the staff care and worked to give our Mum a good quality of life.
At the end, Mum was treated with sympathy and dignity. After she died, staff showed continuing care by laying her out and dressing her, so she was smart in her own style.

Our thanks to all at Immacolata House, for the care they have given our Mum over the last five and a half years.

My brother spent the final nine months of his life, at Immacolata, he was taken great care off. The staff were very empathic as well as professional.

I was always very well informed about his care plan and condition. I too was made to feel most welcome, by all the staff when visiting. I cannot praise the staff enough. The home was always very clean and inviting, the outside surroundings very nice. I had every faith in them caring for my brother.

An unmarried lady used to her own space who says she finds carers coercive, invasive and rough. She has never used soap on her face and was mortified when her face was soaped and shaved. She was crying when we visited. (We have never seen her cry) She has language difficulties with the staff both ways and finds them difficult to understand. Personal hygiene is personal and needs to be discussed. Cultural dress frightens client and she needs help here.

My partner has received very good care. The staff who assist him show real sympathy and the care assistants work extremely hard. The main terrace staff are always polite and kind and make every effort to ensure that my partner is comfortable. The nursing staff are caring and do their very best for him.

Mum has been at the home now for over 6 months and is in the later stages of Dementia, so doesn't really know where she is herself. I have been very pleased with the way she settled in and that her needs at this stage of her illness are being well met. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, giving mum the support she requires. She has enjoyed joining-in with a variety of activities, she can attend. The home is in a lovely location, is fairly modern compared to some older style homes and is kept very clean.

Very friendly staff, clean and tidy, always happy to help where needed. Food leaves a little bit to be desired, could do with small changes, try cauliflower cheese or similar. This is a county with farm workers etc. Lots of males who eat cheese. On the whole, suitable but need more variation.

I had a missed call on my phone so rang them when I got home from work. I found it very hard to make the person understand what I was calling for and when speaking to the next person I found it almost impossible to understand what they were telling me. If I find it hard, how do the residents cope? I think all staff should be able to speak and understand English at a reasonable level.
