Mum stayed at Camelot House and Lodge for just over a year. I can't thank the team enough for the wonderful care and support. Nothing was too much trouble. I felt that my mum was in safe hands, which meant that we could relax. In her final days, they not only looked after mum but all of us.

Mum was a resident in Camelot Lodge for 5 months. The care that Mum received was first class. Mum moved from a care home to Camelot when it became apparent that she needed nursing care. We were lucky they had a vacancy. As soon as you enter Camelot Lodge you get a sense of well-being. None of us ever want to be in a home that is not our own home, but, if it becomes necessary I can 100% recommend Camelot Lodge. Mum had a short stay in hospital before her death but we were able to return her to the home where the staff made her comfortable and made her passing so much easier and dignified for which I will always be grateful. Thank you, Camelot.

I cannot praise Camelot House and Lodge enough. Every single member of staff the put wellbeing of the residents before anything else. They are extremely supportive of family members when we visit and they give regular updates and always call if needed if anything is wrong with my Dad. I can rest easy knowing that my Dad is well cared for. I will always be grateful to them.

I enjoyed an afternoon with my aunty at Camelot House and Lodge. I was invited along to a bonanza event where I could sit with mu aunty and answer a quiz with her. We had a cup of tea and cake and a cocktail/mocktail. The staff were very friendly and everyone enjoyed themselves. There was also an opportunity to meet the staff that run Camelot House and Lodge.

Friendly staff - will listen to any concerns we have and will take action. Everyone who works there seems to have a lot of compassion for the residents. Good entertainment is given, and they are trying to improve all the time. A bit disappointed with the outside areas, but that is now being looked into for improvements.

Reply from James Marchant, Operations Manager at Camelot House and Lodge

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review, we do appreciate it and we will pass your kind comments to the activities team. As you say, there are plans to improve the outside areas and we have already made a start to enhance these.

I've just come back from a 'fun afternoon' at Camelot House and Lodge Care Home. I must say, it was fun and great to mix with other families of residents and to now be able to be included in resident activities since Covid. It was a very relaxed environment for residents, families and staff alike. Staff are always very caring and polite and nothing is too much trouble. Both my husband and myself really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you to all.

I knew from when I first visited Camelot that it was right for my mum, from when you first enter any care setting it can be a daunting experience but straight away you could see a variety of residents and it was soon very clear to see that the residents were allowed to be as they needed, some walking, some entertained individually and some as part of a bigger group and some just doing what they felt they needed, the staff were helping and supporting, Camelot is a busy home but I can't speak highly enough of the home, mum lived there for four and a half years and when able she took part in the many activities provided by an amazing activities team and when less able they still interacted with mum, from management to the staff that care and even to the caretakers everyone speaks and is very friendly. Mum was settled and well cared for, I feel Camelot is such a good home providing the care for mum and the support to us as a family, a dementia journey isn't easy but Camelot made ours a lot easier.

I am very pleased with the care my husband receives. The activities team have worked so hard to get him to participate. At home, he sat in a chair and did nothing and spoke to no one. The staff are always helpful, polite and professional. It was his birthday yesterday and they made it special for him. Many thanks to all the team.
