The management and staff have been excellent since Mum arrived over in March 2021.
They quickly identified her specific needs and we have seen a significant improvement in her general health and well-being. She was having daily falls and since arriving at Camelot House and Lodge Care Home we have
not had a single incident, which speaks volumes for the care and attention of the staff.
There is a warm and friendly atmosphere that allowed Mum to settle in very quickly and whilst she would prefer to be at home she understands and appreciates the care she needs.
Camelot has been excellent with communication to us and has contacted us when necessary, or to update us on Mum's current situation.
They have been very strict but accommodating with the Covid restrictions which we appreciate have been very difficult over the past year. They have gone the extra mile to accommodate visits when we have had family visiting from further away and we could not have expected more.
The service has exceeded our expectations.

Very organised and fully supported in a time when I had no idea what to do as both my parents became ill together. Camelot care home supported me, and I would not have been able to cope without them. I can't thank them enough.

Camelot House and Lodge are exceptional in every aspect of management; they deserve so much. In this field, nursing is required, you have to have enormous patience and understanding. As a visitor myself, I've been behind the scenes, incredible work the staff endure day to day - truly caring in every
way. Activities are enjoyable for residents, which give them lots of pleasure. There are no other nursing homes like it. They saved my son's life. Completely made a remarkable recovery and moved to a new residence. As a mother, this is truly a miracle. We, as a family, will never forget.

Every time I visited the care home, the atmosphere was calm and very welcoming. The staff were continually helping the patients whenever they were needed, whether medical or just company and, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Having regular entertainment and encouragement to join in regarding art
and games etc, also trips out, really sparked the laid back enjoyable feeling that evolved around the home, whether inside or out. The benefit of music, albeit continuos in the background, also entertained, ie playing an instrument or singing songs, encourage the patients to partake. When I was leaving to come home, the patient was totally immersed in the comfort that was circling around in a very relaxed atmosphere.

My mother arrives at Camelot House and Lodge in early March 2021 after a residence of approximately 3 1/2 years at a local care home. The reason for the move was to provide my mother with an improved/enhanced level of care which was not available at the original home. Since arrival, the family have
been impressed with the level of care, service and communication and the enhanced care level has resulted in an improvement in my mother's condition. The staff are friendly, caring, and efficient.

My mum has been at Camelot House and Lodge for two years. The care she receives from all the staff is excellent. Our family are always kept informed of any changes in Mum. The activities team provide so many varied, fun and stimulating activities for all the residents - they are amazing. All the staff
are friendly and welcoming when we visit. We cannot praise the home and staff enough. I would certainly recommend Camelot House and Lodge to anyone looking for a caring house for their loved ones.

The team at Camelot House made what was a difficult time for us more bearable. Putting Mum in a care home in November was extremely hard and was made worse by our decisions on initial care homes being the wrong one. Mum joined Camelot in March, which in comparison was like a holiday camp.
The team
made us part of their family and Mum settled quickly. Unfortunately, Mum has since passed away after illness but we were supported and loved by all during Mum's end of life.
I cannot praise this home and team enough for resident care and family care - thank you, everyone.

Camelot Lodge have been looking after my father since last October. We have seen a marked improvement in his general well being, he seems happy to be there.

Camelot House staff have been incredibly caring for my father for the years prior to his death at 91. I was always kept appraised of any changes in him, which living 4 hours drive away was a great comfort to me.
They fought to keep him at Camelot House to provide the best care for him. Special thanks

My stepfather came to the end of his life last month. He was 94 years old and was suffering a bit towards the end. The care home put an 'end of life' plan into effect and looked after him well, as they had since he moved into the care home about April 2018.
The care home staff were fantastic, all the
way through.

They cared for my father with care and compassion throughout the 2 1/2 years of his stay. The home treated me, as a visitor, extremely well,m kept me informed of his condition at all times and always discussed any changes needed to his medicines/diet before acting. I think, after the initial shock,
my father loved being there and it felt like home to him. Many thanks.

The staff at Camelot Lodge provided nine months of excellent first class care for my 88-year-old father, who had vascular dementia. They were caring in every way possible, which was exactly what we as a family wanted for him.

My husband had been a resident for 8 months and was always treated with care, compassion and understanding. The staff were always kind and courteous to both residents and visitors alike. During the last days of his life, the staff were always there tending to his, and our, every need.

My father received excellent care from all members of staff, while he lived at Camelot House and Lodge. They treated him with dignity and respect and were very compassionate and caring. When we visited we were always welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. Over the days my father was dying the care
we all received could not be faulted. I am so glad my father lived and died there.

My first visit to view Camelot House. I was seen straight away and shown around. Residents, clean and well groomed. Clean house. Rooms spacious and clean. Plenty of staff - friendly. My step-mother was happy. Plenty of activities. Especially liked Dot (rabbit) and bird aviary.
