Excellent smiling, caring staff. Great activities provided, especially the aviary and rabbit. Made Stepmother's last few days comfortable and happy. The care home was one of several we looked at, but it was the helpful happy staff that made up our minds. The food and facilities were excellent. The
staff also made time to facilitate her personal 'fads' needs. An outstanding service and grateful thanks to everyone at Camelot.

My husband was admitted on February 13th 2017, needing 24 hour nursing care. the care he received was excellent. The staff were always kind, cheerful and caring - my husband had lost his dentures whilst in hospital (he had transferred from hospital to Camelot) and his food was pureed and presented in
an attractive manner and was much appreciated.
He had crippling arthritis and dementia and the staff worked hard to make his life as comfortable as possible.
He long ago requested not to be resuscitated or hospitalised. I was with him when he died and we were both cared for wonderfully and sympathetically.

My mother has been living at Camelot House and Lodge for just over a year and we are delighted with how well and quickly she settled in. She initially came for respite care but very quickly regarded Camelot Lodge as her home and wanted to stay. The standard of care she receives is excellent, we cannot
praise the staff too highly - their warmth, patience and professionalism is amazing.


There is a lovely atmosphere at the Lodge and plenty of activities and treats on offer. My mother enjoys taking part in whatever is going on, especially when there is music or dancing involved. She has become fond of her carers and it's a pleasure to see her interact with them.


We visit often and are always made welcome but we know when we can't be there she is in safe hands.

My mother transferred to Camelot House when she was very infirm.
Her treatement by all the staff (nurses, carers, cleaners, maintenance, management) was superb. They all always knew who she was and how she was. They were on top of her needs both medical and care and my sisters and I have been able
to relax as we could trust the home.

My husband spent his last three months at Camelot House and words cannot express how deeply grateful we are for all the tender care and kindness that was demonstrated both to him and our family during this difficult time. The staff are truly exceptional. They were so patient and nothing was too much
trouble. The home was always clean and fresh and there was a lovely happy atmosphere. He couldn't have spent his last days in a better place.

I have been visiting your home for 18 months. I have always been greeted with politeness and a smile. Sometimes I need to ask a medical question which is always answered by the nurse in charge as it should be.

Caring for people with dementia and mental disorders is really difficult (I know I have tried) but in the five months that my wife has been in Camelot House and Lodge her needs and welfare have been met to my complete satisfaction. The staff and management work very hard and in an amazingly cheerful
way and I thank them all for the care given to my wife (and me).

I have found on visiting the lodge that all the members of staff have been helpful, approachable and very good at handling both my friends sister and other residents. Their jobs are extremely demanding but they carry out their tasks with cheerfulness and immense patience.

The staff are always very helpful and considerate. My wife is always clean and tidy. The food is well prepared to meet her needs and she is helped each meal time because she cannot feed herself. The senior staff always update me at each visit (daily) if there have been any concerns relating to her health
and well-being.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the care my wife gets and have recommended Camelot to other people. These people do a difficult job to a very high standard.

My other was in Camelot Lodge for the last 15 months of her life. In all the time she spent there she was cared for in a kind and loving way. In particular the activities co-ordinator was superb in all her care and help towards my mother.
