My late Mother moved to The Cedars in December 2023. My sister and I were unhappy when my Mother was moved to the dementia unit after two months as the care, cleanliness, furnishings and general atmosphere were markedly inferior compared to the rest of the home. The Cedars were made aware at the time of how my sister and I felt by way of email exchanges and telephone calls and refunded the deposit when Mum moved to another home, despite not having had the required notice period.

The Cedars Nursing Home was the second attempt at finding the right for Mum and I am so happy we found them. You are always greeted with a smile from every staff member you pass. They always make you feel welcome and care about the relative's welfare just as much as the residents. The most important thing for me was to have somewhere with calm energy as Mum has been through so much and The Cedars finally provides this. I knew my mum was popular there but I was genuinely touched by the number in tears and offering their condolences when she passed.
