Harnham Croft Care Home

I was extremely grateful to be able to visit my friend. She and I have known each other since she taught me when I was 5 years old in Primary school. That was over 45 years ago. I want to say a huge thank you firstly to Harnham Croft for allowing the visit to go ahead 'Covid safe' and secondly, I want to write to you to say how caring, friendly and happy the staff I met at your lovely home were. One carer, in particular, is a real asset to your home.

Excellent care by dedicated staff. Nothing too much trouble.

Excellent service for a special occasion, very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Always made very welcome and so pleased our relative was able to stay with this care home.

All the staff were absolutely amazing for my granny's 100th birthday. The way they have split the second lounge and built a permanent divider so you can safely sit one side and see and talk through the microphone to your relative is amazing. Even though you can't be together properly at the moment the home has set things up so you can visit safely.

My gran's 100th birthday during Covid, they went out of their way to help us safely celebrate together.

I'm very happy here for nearly a year. May this home grow and grow. Thank you.

I have been visiting my aunt for a few years now, always found her well looked after and happy. Very good caring staff, and meals very good choices. A very pleasant home to come to. Any hospital visits arranged. Pleased and thank you.

The food was excellent, in fact, I have gained 1/2 stone in weight due to the delicious menus!

My mum came to Harnham Croft to recover after being in hospital. She had a very restful time, with kind care, and was well enough to return home.

My mum has been extremely happy in her time at Harnham Croft. The staff have always been kind, helpful and respectful both to her and to myself. I would like to thank them all for their hard work and care.

Our initial meeting was professional and reassuring, helping us through a difficult time. We couldn't have asked for a better room and we could rest easy that mum was being looked after. We were very happy with the care she received during her final months.

Harnham Croft is in an idyllic setting and very conducive to the relaxed atmosphere that I always find when visiting my mother. The carers and other staff are always considerate, warm and compassionate. My mother's condition, I believe, has improved over that last months and she appears very happy and content in her life.

I visited my sister from 11.50am to 2 pm on Thursday 11th April. She was happy, well turned out and had just had her hair done. I had lunch with her. The meal was set out on a table for two and was delicious, nutritious and well balanced. The correct attention had been given to my sister's diabetic diet. The carers serving the food made sure that the quantity was to our liking. After lunch, I left my sister happily settling down to watch a film show with the other residents.

The management and staff of this homework incredibly hard to provide a happy, caring and relaxed atmosphere for my father to live in. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are always cheerful and patient and professional. My father is safe, well-fed and comfortable. The home is beautifully clean, the views are amazing and I am always made to feel very welcome when I drop in. Very good all round.

Always very warm and welcoming. Help available if needed with friendly carers who are always around. Mum is kept clean and tidy and I feel she is in a good place where all her needs are met.

My mother was in Harnham Croft Care Home for 3 months, receiving palliative care. The care was excellent and I was kept informed at all times. I can't praise all the staff enough for the support they gave me and the family from beginning to end.
