Thanks to the staff for facilitating an excellent family day downstairs, also for getting Dad ready for Holy Communion very early in the morning for a few Sundays. Much Appreciated. Kind regards Trevor
Thank you so much for your kind words and positive feedback.
So glad everyone enjoyed the Family Day and that Dad was able to attend Holy Communion with our support. We recognise how important faith is to people within our care.
I will share your feedback with the team and a big thank you - it is very much appreciated.
Wishing Dad well with his continued recovery.
Mum was at home since February 2024. Few challenges at beginning with suitable food option, and her preferences took a while to sort out (attitude of chef on one occasion was unacceptable). Staff were always caring and welcoming and really did seem to care for mum and make her stay as enjoyable as possible. How ever the staff seemed under staffed, especially at weekends. On one occasion on a Saturday an activity was advertised but didn't go ahead. Security was very good as she was identified as a flight risk. Mum did have quite a few serious falls whilst in home.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your mum's stay with us. We're truly grateful that you recognised the warmth and care shown by the care team, and we're glad she felt welcomed and supported while she was with us.
We appreciate you sharing both the positive and the more...
My father was a resident at Kimberley East from April 2024 until he sadly passed away on 1st January 2026.
During his stay he was treated with nothing but complete professionalism, love, kindness and care. Even in his last few weeks his comfort and dignity were upper most in the care he received. In fact the last video we have of Dad was taken on Christmas Day and in it he is telling the staff how amazing and wonderful they are. A sentiment echoed by his family.
The home, the family room and his room were always clean and tidy and were always greeted with a smile and hello by all the staff we met.
As a family we cannot thank everyone (no matter their role) at Kimberley East enough for making Dad happy, content and well looked after.
Your father was a truly special gentleman and will always hold a place in our hearts. Personally, he was the very first person I placed in my new career with Wessex Care, and it was an honor to watch him settle in and become part of our community....
The nursing staff were very kind, caring and professional. Most of the carers treated my friend with dignity and compassion. Even after my friend passed away, the nurses spoke to her and told her what they were going to do. Again in such a caring manner.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of supporting a loved one within one of our homes, especially during such a difficult time. It means a great deal to our team to know that your friend was treated with dignity, compassion, and respect throughout her time with us....
I have found the nursing home to be clean and tidy and the staff very friendly. My friend was only in the care home for a relatively short period of time for palliative care. The facilities available for visitors were good, with a separate room to make a drink and/or wait whilst friend being attended to.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're pleased to hear that you found the home clean and welcoming, and that our staff were able to support both your friend and you during their time with us. Providing a comfortable environment for visitors is something that is very important to us,...
I found all the staff very caring and helpful in their dealing with Shirley and me. The home was spotlessly clean at all times. What I particularly liked was to be able to bring some of her ornaments, teddies and pictures, etc. It really helped to settle her in. Thank you all for the care you showed her - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kimberly East to anyone looking for a nursing home. Kind regards to all.
Your recommendations and kind words go a long way to every single...
Things that matter for residents like hair beauty and activities are all laid on and interesting.
This is a really nice care home offering good value, well resourced and in a convenient location.
Like all such homes the key asset is the ownership, the way its run and managed and the great staff and that makes it.
As a family we could not find a better place and will use them again without hesitation.
Thank you so much for your kind review. It means so very much to us that you notice the effort that goes into creating a homely environment for our residents. One of our goals is to provide a holistic approach to care and support, as such feedback like this is means a great deal to everyone...
I visited Kimberly East on the 27th October after an initial enquiry at 9.00 am that morning I was offered a visit to the home the same day. This was really reassuring and the experience I had was professional, informative, transparent and incredibly helpful. After agreeing the home would meet my partners needs he was admitted on the morning of October 30th. The staff have been fantastic in making myself and more importantly my partner feel welcome and safe. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate my partners needs. Getting to know him, personalising his door sign, putting up personal pictures even printing off photos. A beautifully clean care home and I have been able to speak to the manager and placement manager when ever I need to (both have been outstanding) As my partner doesn't leave his room the activities are brought to his room! Thank you for providing such outstanding facilities and care. I feel 100% confident this has helped support my partner in feeling valued.
Many thanks for taking the time to complete such a positive review of your experience of Kimberly East in regards to the service and care provided. I will be sure to let the team know!
My friend was relocated to this home to receive the end of life care. She struggled with the changes from her home environment but all the care staff and the nurses have been fantastic - patient, kind, approachable, and caring. I truly think they provided the best care possible till the last. Thank you very much for all our hard work and support.
Many heartfelt thanks for your wonderful review, I will be sure to let the team know. We are so sorry for loss and hope that being provided such a caring and empathic service brought comfort . Many thanks again.
My father in law was not always easy to care for but there has never been a time when we have not seen him cared for with dignity and humour which he, and the rest of the family appreciated. The family all tried to make sure he had a visit every day, and we were always made to feel very welcome, we were even allowed to bring our dog Ted to visit (he loved coming in and making friends). Sadly my father in law passed away on the 4th July and we all want to say Thank you for the care and compassion you showed us all. The best recommendation I can give is that if I need to be cared for in the years to come I hope Kimberley East have a space for me.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review of your experience of Kimberly east and the team. We are so sorry for your loss and send our heartfelt condolences. I will be sure to let the team know of your kind words.
Although mum was only resident here for a short time, the care and compassion shown to her and us as a family at a very difficult time was faultless. All the staff were so friendly and reactive to any questions or help we needed.
Many thanks for your kind words and wonderful review. I will be sure to let the team know how happy you were with the care and support provided at such a difficult time.
Excellent care from a polite and friendly staff.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a lovely review, it is very much appreciated and I will be sure to let the team know.
From the moment we had connection and contact from Kimberly East the care has been outstanding. Everyone, from leadership, care team, cleaners, have treated us with respect, empathy and care. Nothing has been too big or small to make my relative as comfortable as possible. The activities have also been a great comfort to the family and made us smile when times have been challenging. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for your glowing review of Kimberly East, it is always empowering for all when such a positive review is received I will be sure to let the team know.
I cannot express enough how wonderful the care home at Kimberly East Care Centre has been. From the moment I walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and reassured. the care home is warm, clean and inviting and its clear that they take pride in maintaining it. The staff members were genuinely caring and compassionate. My father was well looked after and the food was very good and you could help yourselves to drinks and cake! I would recommend this care home.
Many thanks for taking the time to complete this wonderful review. I will be sure to let the team know. We really do appreciate when residents and relatives take the time to review the service we provide.
Very happy with everything & the staff & management.
Thank you so much for you kind words and positive feedback, I will be sure to let the team know.
My mother suffered from Alzheimer's and spent her last 11 months in Kimberly East. From day 1 the staff were excellent & dealt with my mother with care, compassion & sometimes humour. Our family were very satisfied with the care my mum received.
Many thanks for reviewing your experience of Kimberly East, we appreciate your kind words and I will sure to let the team know. It is always empowering for the team to have feedback of such a positive nature. Thank you again.
For something I was not prepared for, initlaly I found everything depressing and daunting. My mum has now been up there for other a year now and the experience is easier slightly. The staff are very polite which helps. I have limited my visits to mainly 1 weekly visits instead of every other day which again helps to deal with the satcetation. I did enjoy the summer party in the garden. Hopefully I will be present when the birds of prey are next booked.
Many thanks for taking the time to complete a review we really value all feedback and we are pleased that the situation of your Mother moving into a nursing home has become a little easier. We are glad that your Mother settled and is enjoying the activities provided.
However, the main concern she had and I also raised to the team was that her food was served cold, although on a hot plate.
Considering the cost of the stay she felt that it should be at least hot as this constantly worried her. Bedsheets only change once in three weeks - her statement - I hope that this issue is resolved for future residents.
Many thanks for your feedback, we value all feedback and welcome all levels of this. in regards to the bed sheets they would have been changed more often we have a wonderful laundry and domestic team in all the homes. I am surprised to hear Mum felt the food was cold I will take this forward and...
Since I moved here in April 2024, I have been completely satisfied with my care. The staff are wonderful - kind and caring and always treat me with the utmost respect and dignity. I cannot recommend Kimberly East highly enough.
Many thanks for taking the time to send a review of your experience of Kimberly East and Wessex Care, I will be sure to let the team know. It really empowers the team to hear and receive such positive feedback.
It gave the family a sense of peace to know he was finally getting the care he deserved. During his final hours, we were all well looked after and couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you all!
Thank you so much for your kind words and wonderful review of your experience of Kimberly East. I will be sure to feedback your kind words to the team as they all work so hard. We are all so happy that your Father was so happy at Kimberly East for his final days, sending our condolences to you all.
