Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father was a resident at Kimberley East from April 2024 until he sadly passed away on 1st January 2026.

During his stay he was treated with nothing but complete professionalism, love, kindness and care. Even in his last few weeks his comfort and dignity were upper most in the care he received.

In fact the last video we have of Dad was taken on Christmas Day and in it he is telling the staff how amazing and wonderful they are. A sentiment echoed by his family.

The home, the family room and his room were always clean and tidy and were always greeted with a smile and hello by all the staff we met.

As a family we cannot thank everyone (no matter their role) at Kimberley East enough for making Dad happy, content and well looked after.

Reply from Zoe Johnson, Placements Manager at Kimberly East Care CentreThank you so much for sharing these kind words.
Your father was a truly special gentleman and will always hold a place in our hearts. Personally, he was the very first person I placed in my new career with Wessex Care, and it was an honor to watch him settle in and become part of our community. He was gentle and kind, and although it took him a little time to get into the swing of life with us, he embraced it fully-especially enjoying gardening club and the seated exercise class. He was also a proud member of the residents' association, always advocating for those who couldn't.
On behalf of the entire Kimberley East team & all of us at Wessex Care, we are deeply grateful for the trust your family placed in us and for the privilege of caring for him. He will be greatly missed by all of us, staff and friends.

I cannot thank and rate highly enough the care that my mother received in the last year of her life. The hoist facilities were the first transformation enabling her to get from bed to chair in minutes, alleviating the manipulation for the staff and allowing a smooth transition. But by far the most outstanding
experience was the nature of the care; respectful, dignified and loving. A true family ambience - which is apparent in all the staff. Thank you to you all.
Reply from Zoe Johnson, Placements Manager at Kimberly West Care CentreSimply, thank you.
Comments like yours are the reason we do what we do. Whilst we strive to provide the very highest standard of equipment within our homes, what truly fills our hearts is your recognition of the compassion, respect, and love shown by our staff - values that are at the very heart of everything we strive to deliver.
To know that our home felt like a family home during such an important time in your mother's life is deeply meaningful to us.
Supporting residents and their loved ones with dignity and warmth, particularly in their final chapter, is a privilege we never take lightly.
Thank you again for your heartfelt feedback and for entrusting us with your mother's care. Our thoughts remain with you and your family.

The nursing staff were very kind, caring and professional. Most of the carers treated my friend with dignity and compassion. Even after my friend passed away, the nurses spoke to her and told her what they were going to do. Again in such a caring manner.

I have found the nursing home to be clean and tidy and the staff very friendly. My friend was only in the care home for a relatively short period of time for palliative care. The facilities available for visitors were good, with a separate room to make a drink and/or wait whilst friend being attended
to.
Reply from Zoe Johnson, Placements Manager at Kimberly East Care CentreThank you for sharing your experience with us. Even though your friend's stay with us was short, we're glad we could offer care and support during such an important time.

I found all the staff very caring and helpful in their dealing with Shirley and me. The home was spotlessly clean at all times. What I particularly liked was to be able to bring some of her ornaments, teddies and pictures, etc. It really helped to settle her in. Thank you all for the care you showed
her - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kimberly East to anyone looking for a nursing home. Kind regards to all.
Reply from Zoe Johnson, Placements Manager at Kimberly East Care CentreWell, I for one 100% agree the importance of knick-knacks!! But in seriousness, we wouldn't have it any other way. We feel it is important that residents spaces feel like their home, reflecting individual style & personality.

Wonderful caring home used for a family member with diabetes and increasing Mental Health issues. A difficult combination. Home itself is lovely, staff are all caring, access is simple (once they know you) and unfussy but importantly secure for staff and residents. Rooms a good size and well fitted.
Food excellent, good laundry service and escorting to medical appointments.
Things that matter for residents like hair beauty and activities are all laid on and interesting.
This is a really nice care home offering good value, well resourced and in a convenient location.
Like all such homes the key asset is the ownership, the way its run and managed and the great staff and that makes it.
As a family we could not find a better place and will use them again without hesitation.
Reply from Zoe Johnson, Placements Manager at Kimberly East Care CentreThank you so much for your kind review. It means so very much to us that you notice the effort that goes into creating a homely environment for our residents. I will take pride in sharing this with the team who I know will walk a little taller afterwards, as they rightly should.

I visited Kimberly East on the 27th October after an initial enquiry at 9.00 am that morning I was offered a visit to the home the same day. This was really reassuring and the experience I had was professional, informative, transparent and incredibly helpful. After agreeing the home would meet my partners
needs he was admitted on the morning of October 30th. The staff have been fantastic in making myself and more importantly my partner feel welcome and safe. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate my partners needs. Getting to know him, personalising his door sign, putting up personal pictures even printing off photos. A beautifully clean care home and I have been able to speak to the manager and placement manager when ever I need to (both have been outstanding) As my partner doesn't leave his room the activities are brought to his room! Thank you for providing such outstanding facilities and care. I feel 100% confident this has helped support my partner in feeling valued.

My reception on arrival from the hospital under the NHS for rehab after a broken femur was efficient and welcoming. I found all the care staff very attentive and easy to get on with both in the day and at night. The therapy team quickly worked out a programme for me and made sure I followed it. Without

Mum was transferred from Salisbury hospital after falling and breaking her hip. The care mum received from the staff has been excellent, they are all helpful and very kind. Her room was big, clean and bright. Although mum did not make any progress with the physio, this was not down to the staff's
effort and encouragement. Although names of staff are not to be included, there are a few that have been outstanding and it would have been nice to recognise them.
