My father has been at Kimberley East for 18months and has always been treated with dignity, respect and utmost care from all the staff no matter their job role.
Everyone is cheerful and approachable. If I ever have any concerns or questions about Dads care or medications I feel that I can approach
the Care Manager or the Registered Manager and am given the answers I need.
I cannot thank them enough for the way they look after Dad.

I visited Kimberly East on the 27th October after an initial enquiry at 9.00 am that morning I was offered a visit to the home the same day. This was really reassuring and the experience I had was professional, informative, transparent and incredibly helpful. After agreeing the home would meet my partners
needs he was admitted on the morning of October 30th. The staff have been fantastic in making myself and more importantly my partner feel welcome and safe. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate my partners needs. Getting to know him, personalising his door sign, putting up personal pictures even printing off photos. A beautifully clean care home and I have been able to speak to the manager and placement manager when ever I need to (both have been outstanding) As my partner doesn't leave his room the activities are brought to his room! Thank you for providing such outstanding facilities and care. I feel 100% confident this has helped support my partner in feeling valued.

Kimberley West looks after my mum in the best way possible. The staff are caring, kind and experienced in the field of dementia and they care for mum accordingly ensuring she remains safe and happy .
We all know how awful dementia is but the staff remain smiling despite the desperately hard work that
they do to care for residents.
Thank you Kimberley West

Athough my mother-in-law was in for a short period of time, the care, kindness, patience and compassion was excellent. From the moment I was initially shown around it was obvious the clients are well cared for. The place has a homely, informal, welcoming atmosphere but most of all, and more importantly,
my mother-in-law felt safe and comfortable there which put all the family members' minds at rest.

My reception on arrival from the hospital under the NHS for rehab after a broken femur was efficient and welcoming. I found all the care staff very attentive and easy to get on with both in the day and at night. The therapy team quickly worked out a programme for me and made sure I followed it. Without
their support I would not have progressed as quickly as I did.
Most of the rooms are full of light and the whole atmosphere I felt was encouraging.

Mum was transferred from Salisbury hospital after falling and breaking her hip. The care mum received from the staff has been excellent, they are all helpful and very kind. Her room was big, clean and bright. Although mum did not make any progress with the physio, this was not down to the staff's
effort and encouragement. Although names of staff are not to be included, there are a few that have been outstanding and it would have been nice to recognise them.

The staff were excellent - kind, friendly and helpful. The food was variable - considering how little money they spend on each person each day but the egg, cookery left a little to be desired the omelet was rubbery and the scrambled eggs too hard. The sponge pudding were excellent. It was a shame that
the menu was so repeated each week as many of us were there for more than a week.
The method of entry to the home for visitors led to much frustration as it relied on someone being there to answer the call bell.

My father in law came to Kimberley East in April 1923 after a spell in hospital. When it became clear that he was not going to be able to be cared for at home we worried about what sort of a care home he was going to spend his final year's in, we need not have worried and the whole family have been
so happy with his care.
My father in law was not always easy to care for but there has never been a time when we have not seen him cared for with dignity and humour which he, and the rest of the family appreciated. The family all tried to make sure he had a visit every day, and we were always made to feel very welcome, we were even allowed to bring our dog Ted to visit (he loved coming in and making friends). Sadly my father in law passed away on the 4th July and we all want to say Thank you for the care and compassion you showed us all. The best recommendation I can give is that if I need to be cared for in the years to come I hope Kimberley East have a space for me.
