Excellent care, staff are very helpful. Nothing is ever too much bother. Staff are very caring to my mother who can be difficult at times & delirious. I am very impressed, as you here so much bad press about care homes, was not expecting the level of facilities & activities. Wonderful! Has taken so much pressure from myself.

Excellent care as far as I can tell when visiting and also by report from members of close family. Staff are always available, polite and attentive. Building and facilities are modern, well kept, clean and fresh.

My stay at Little Manor was excellent. The week rehab was excellent help for me to get towards my goal. All the staff there was excellent nothing was too much trouble for them. Meals were always on time. Everyone was polite.

My Mother has now been in Holmwood Salisbury since Jan 2026. Whilst the facility is a little dated, the care and attention she receives is incredible. Caring for our elderly parents is a difficult task at best, but under the guidance of the manager Julie, her team are very caring, kind and compassionate. Nothing is to difficult or to small.

Our parents can be very demanding and challenging at times, simple words of encouragement can be extremely helpful to encourage them to eat, drink or go outside for some afternoon entertainment on the better weather days.

The transition from independent living can be challenging but when you realize what is available on offer. Holmwood and Julie have make it a smooth transition. Thank you.

Excellent - in every way. The jewel in the crown are the staff - skilful, caring & with a light touch. Ready to banter when appropriate, but always keeping a basic respect. The general ambience of the place - colour schemes etc - all good.

Overall care good. Staff friendly & well trained physiotherapy not as "intensive" as we were lead to expect.

On admission to LMCC after 2 weeks in trauma ward it was a great relief, I was welcomed by this great team and felt I would recover my mobility. The Carers were really "caring" nothing was too much trouble for them and they are to be applauded for doing such a difficult job with such patience. I was there 29 days and am now home. So many to thank but the whole Team are AMAZING.

Mum moved into Kimberly West at the end of July 2026. The care she has received has been excellent from both the care team and nursing staff. She enjoys the food and alternative menu. Her overall wellbeing has improved substantially, I suspect from a combination of good care, nutrition and hydration. She enjoys being able to sit and read in her room, meeting folk for lunch and participating in some of the activities on offer. Mum's mental wellbeing is the best I've seen it for a number of years, she is more alert, engages with visitors more and smiles more than I've seen for a long time. Thanks all.

Frank enjoyed his stay here. He was very happy in the environment, he loved his room & the view of the cathedral. He found all the staff very helpful, caring & compassionate. I know he would love me to say the only thing which wasn't quite to his taste was the scrambled egg, he was very particular with this. :) Thank you so much for everything

Communication with staff was excellent and I felt very well informed regarding her care and condition.

My dear daddy came to you from the hospital in Southampton, management Wonderful lady help arrange a home with Wessex Care. Unable to go to Castle View required Nursing Care place was found in your fantastic home Kimberly West he was with you for only two weeks but it was his home and everybody involved made it very special with love, kindness and above all care-Thank you to you all for making Dads last weeks happy comfortable + loved.

Generally very good, no major problems.

We attended the family and friends bbq and were very impressed. The food was excellent, the singer was outstanding and all the staff were very attentive. A lot of effort had clearly been made and you'd even ordered the (not-too-hot) sunshine. The atmosphere was lovely and the residents (and their guests) enjoyed themselves immensely.

More than good. Therapy was useful.

As regards security, I would like to be able to open my window, especially in the evenings, after a hot day, to cool my room.

My family and I are really happy with the care my father receives. Every single member of staff is kind, considerate, respectful and dedicated. We cannot praise them all enough for everything they do for all the residents. Communication is excellent when I am visiting in person or by phone call if there is anything regarding my father's care that I need to know about. The more I get to know the staff from all areas of responsibility I realise my positive impressions of them all are confirmed. I would like to convey my thanks to everyone.

A professional and caring service. Limited physio/rehab, variable coverage overnight. Otherwise content.
