The treatment and care that the residents of this place receive are of high and very high standards. From body care, nutrition and soul care, all give this centre a leading place in recommending it to people who need impeccable services. The extremely nice staff and the management more than present in all situations made me believe that my friend is receiving the best care and that this place is what everyone deserves to have when life guides you to make the decision to let go and be cared for in a specialized center.

At 98 my mother-in-law has a big smile for the staff when they frequently pop in her room to say hello.
This is more than confirmation to us that she is happy and in good hands.
The staff are always happy to update us on Mum and keep us informed of her care. She has a lovely large bright room to spend her days in. At 98 she's not that active but the staff always make the effort to include her in activities that are going on.
We are extremely happy that Mum is here spending her twilight years under the care of Sutton Veny and its staff.
It's heartwarming to hear such positive feedback about Sutton Veny and its staff. It's reassuring to know the staff go above and beyond to ensure she feels included and cared for. My Aunt has been at Sutton Veny nursing home for three months now and has settled in very well. She has a lovely spacious room with lovely views. The staff are always kind and caring and she enjoys the food.

It's wonderful to know that she enjoys her spacious room and the lovely views it offers. We're also pleased to hear that our staff's kindness and care have contributed to her positive experience.
My Dad entered the home at the end of July 2023 for respite care and unfortunately, we couldn't get a package in place for him to return home. He passed away on 27 March 2024. The manager was so helpful. Dad, ex-military, quite reserved, and liked things done 'properly' was treated with respect, kindness and dignity throughout his stay. The carers really do care and I was touched by their kind words and thoughts after he passed away. A special mention for one person, as he spent time with Dad taking communion or just talking to him on spiritual matters - I know Dad got great comfort from this. The staff are so welcoming at any time of day when you visit, everything is clean and nothing is too much trouble. I am grateful that Dad was so well looked after by kind and compassionate people. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Your kind words about our staff's welcoming nature, cleanliness, and willingness to go above and beyond mean a lot to us. We strive to create a warm and supportive environment for our residents and their families, and we're glad that was reflected in your experience. Thank you for entrusting us with your Dad's care.
All at the home were outstanding with regard to the care of our mother. We cannot recommend the house enough with the caring staff. Thank you so much for all you have done. It has been hard for us to choose to send our mother away but it felt like home from home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're truly touched by your kind words and are delighted to hear that our staff provided outstanding care for your mother. It means the world to us to know that we were able to make her feel at home and provide a comforting environment for your mum. We will pass your lovely comments over to the staff.
The food is excellent, and nothing is too much trouble!
My mother has only been in the home for one week, but is so happy and enjoying her new home!
Thank you, everyone, at Sutton Veny Nursing Home!
Thank you so much for your kind words. The staff here work very hard to make everyone feel as at home as possible. I will pass all your kind words on to the staff.
My uncle has just moved into Sutton Veny House, and he has been welcomed and made at home by the wonderful staff. Nothing is too much for them; they meet all his needs, and the environment is safe and secure and nicely set in the countryside, which is what my uncle is used to. The 100+-year-old stately home is impressive, and the rooms are big with high ceilings and massive windows, not the sanitised, impersonal environment you find in other care homes. The staff are always happy, helpful and welcoming and treat my uncle with care and kindness. I can only hope that if my time comes to go into care that I end up at a caring place like this.
I am delighted to say that Sutton Veny is an ideal place for people who value order, peace and respect for privacy and needs. The employees are incredibly dedicated and treat the residents like family. My friend has been living there for two years and speaks of it fondly, saying it truly feels like home. They have communal meals and partake in activities together, such as playing games and having exercise classes. Knowing that my friend is in such a safe and caring environment gives me great comfort, and I am confident that if I ever need care, Sutton Veny will be the perfect place for me. This place is truly worth every penny.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I will pass the message on to the entire team, and I'm sure they will appreciate the amazing feedback.
My mother has been a resident at Sutton Veny for some time, and the care and kindness shown towards her have been exemplary. We are grateful to the team for acting swiftly when problems are flagged, and our family is heartened by the way the staff go out of their way to really know# and spend time with our mother.
Thank you for your time to leave this review for us. I will pass on your kind words to all the staff at the home.
The environment created by the home is welcoming and cares in a way that we had not previously experienced. I cannot recommend highly enough for the support given with a special mention to one lady for all that she does above and beyond.
Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate your time to write this review, I will pass the message to all the team from Sutton Veny.
My mother has been a resident at Sutton Veny Care Home since November 2021. When we heard that the then manager was moving on from managing the home, we were naturally anxious. However, we were delighted when the new manager was appointed as the manager. She had been the key worker for my mother, and we had already built up a good relationship. She has kept things the same, and the transition has been very smooth. She is a lovely person who always listens and acts on our conversations. I feel that my mother is completely safe and well looked after and that if I need anything for my mother, the manager will get it sorted.
Thank you very much for your kind words, and we really appreciate your review.
My mother was given an emergency placement at this care home. One lady was extremely caring and thoughtful when my mum arrived, as were all the staff. I was apprehensive about taking my mother to a care home that I knew nothing about, but I immediately felt at ease with her warm welcome. The home is stately and has beautiful grounds, which the residents can enjoy absolutely stunning and a pleasure to explore. My mum has settled in so well that she is determined to stay! The room is beautiful and comfortable. The care my mum is giving is outstanding, and I cannot fault anything. The food looks lovely, and my mum is certainly enjoying everything that she is given. I have been advised that I can join my mum for a meal if I give advance notice, which is lovely. I appreciate the fact that each resident is given holistic care tailored to their needs. It is so good to have my mum somewhere where she's safe and cared for, and most importantly, happy. I would very much like to pass on my appreciation for their kindness.
We really appreciate your kind words, and we thank you for your time in this review. We are glad your mum settled in well and would like to stay with us. Thank you again for your words; I will also pass on your appreciation to the staff.
My mother arrived at Sutton Veny on the 16th of August after being in hospital with Sepsis. One particular lady and her team have shown her great care and attention since she moved in. They are always so cheerful, and nothing is too much trouble. My mother is now settled into a lovely room, overlooking the beautiful gardens.
Thank you so much for your kind words. The staff at Sutton Veny will always strive to do as much as they can for all of our residents. We are glad that your mother has settled in and is also enjoying our garden. Thank you once again.
The move from another nursing home locally five months ago to Sutton Veny Nursing Home proved timely. My aunt was very well cared for by a team who found time to talk to her and offer the respect and dignity that made her feel settled as her life of 93 years was coming to its end. The emphasis on providing care and compassion to an elderly lady was so evident. Despite the constraints of Covid restrictions, the staff went to great lengths to get to know her and offer her a continuity of care, often on first name terms. Communication with her family was excellent. The support of the local GP enabled the nurses and carers to offer her an end of life care creating peace and calmness. My only regret is not moving her four years ago to Sutton Veny, a home of comfort and care. Well done!
Thank you for your kind words; I will pass your kind comments over to the staff.
A beautiful house located in a wonderful place, with an imposing design, keeping the culture and tradition, an extraordinary garden and a special interior as if it were a corner of Heaven. Qualified staff and an extraordinary kitchen, rising to the highest standards. Very good management, a manager with an open mind and respect, especially to our peers and the environment. I recommend this wonderful house - enjoy!
Thank you very much for this review of Sutton Veny Nursing Home. We really appreciate your kind words and your positive comments, and they will be forwarded to the team.
The staff were always welcoming, helpful and cheerful when I visited my mother.

The nursing home is a beautiful house. The staff are caring and kind. It's a lovely environment, and I feel that my mother could not be in a better place.
Kind regards.
Sutton Veny does not only do day-to-day care (which is no small task in itself), they also have interactive activities for residents and their families (when Covid was not a restriction), they raise money for great causes/charities - currently, they are raising money for toiletries to send to the people in Ukraine.
I really could not have asked for a better care home for my dad, and no words can thank the staff enough. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your kind words; we always strive to give excellent care to our residents, which are personalised and maximise the quality of life.
