It is indeed suited to my wife's needs. All the staff are conscientious, considerate, & caring. Her room is adequate but could be bigger for all family to meet + be with her. Although she is retricted to bed + music chair, the lounge + outdoor facilities have given her much needed freedom during this hot summer Visiting is always a very happy experience. Staff always welcoming and polite. The back up from Dr, chiropody, hairdresser have been very helpful. Her every need has been catered for.

I was very happy with the care given to my husband who stayed for respite care. He said the staff were kind. He was smart and shaved when I picked him up. He and I were treated with respect and kindness. My only worry was that his own wheelchair was taken out if his room and put into a storage cupboard and I had to ask where it was and help staff to look for it. All his other belongings were neatly packed. I plan to use this respite care service again. Belinda Canning

Since she transferred from Hospital to the Nursing home , her needs have been met and her general demeana is relaxed and happy . Staff have taken time to get to know Mums personality and background, and applied this knowledge to assist their efforts and improve my Mums experience at Sutton Veny Nursing home .. The staff are friendly and welcoming to our family and friends when we visit her .

Although the building is dated. It was always kept clean, his bed was made daily, and the personal care was to a good standard.

The carers at Sutton Veny are very kind, helpful + knowledgeable. All the visitors I took to see my husband commented on how welcoming it all felt, and how professional + friendly all the staff are. They looked after my husband brilliantly, and were a great help + support to me too.

The overall experience at Sutton Veny was very good. The staff were welcoming from the outset and in particular Anna was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help my father. It was also apparent that the wrap around care was of a very high standard and this combines with the lovely grounds, very much helped with my father's recovery over the three months that he was there.

South Cary House is, hands down, one the most caring and attentive to its residents. The kindness, warmth, and genuine care shown by the staff really stands out. I couldn't recommend them more - 10/10.

With the recent increase in Residental fees it would be good to see some this increased cost invested in more personalised activities for those residents unable to partake in the group activities. There are the odd individuals left alone to long with out seeing anyone at all, and lonelness alone doesn't do some people any good. The staff at Bybrook are very nice but I fear are too few.

Organising a transition from private residence to a care home requires lots of downsizing, critical detail, pre-planning and time. This is also an emotional period for residents & loved ones when beginning a new and often final journey in their lives. We were received by both Kirsty & Anna on the day and to write their help and support was immense, is an understatement. Not only was our room in pristine condition, we were further helped in styling the room to preferred taste AND given lunch together! Our loved one is absolutely delighted; within a couple of days she was well at home, smiling and enjoying first class personal service. We cannot thank Kirsty, Anna & their team enough for their welcoming help that included very clear information and understanding. It's a beautiful house with gorgeous gardens; very well organised; superb home cooked food and everyone is simply marvellous. Faultless. The relief to family is immeasurable. Happy Daze!!

My Aunty Iris has been in South Cary House for a couple of years and I have previous experience of several care homes through parents and in-laws. South Cary House is certainly the best home I have visited. It is a beautiful "country" house, very nice smart and cool bedrooms and a spectacular (National Trust level!) garden. Most importantly all the staff I have met (and many who have been there for a long time) have been very professional and friendly. Visits are very relaxed and flexible. My Aunty seems extremely well cared for and happy.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a home from home for their parents or family.

Overall i am very happy with the standard of care that my nan recieves on a daily basis and also the communication that we recieve from the office to keep us up to date with any problems that may arise.

My mother is currently resident in South Cary House , comming up 2 years . She is well cared for , the staff are freindly ,and make it a really good atmosphere . always happy and helpful mum has a nice room looking out to garden , which is stunning ,, the day room is a good experience for them , having various activities , clay modeling . a musician and other things , its clean , the food is excellent .. I am happy that mum is here , and looked after a big thank you to everyone

The staff are very good. Very helpful. They are clean.

My relative has been at The Wells Nursing Home for approx 12 months. During this time his health has improved and he interacts with both residents and carers. The staff are very caring to both residents and visitors alike. Recently a lot of remediation work has been under taken to the inside of the premises.

I do not quite have the words to convey how much South Cary House has meant to us over the last two years. My father was initially resident whilst still fairly mobile and he would be involved with the various daily activities. Later, particularly in his final months, his health deteriorated and his needs increased significantly. We were hugely relieved he could remain resident in a place that had become his home with its wonderful staff and beautiful garden and surroundings. The exceptional care required was given with huge respect and dignity and we felt the genuine affection shown to my father throughout. We, as a family, drew comfort from knowing he was in a safe and loving environment. There was also a very good level of humour and we were welcomed by all with such friendliness - and often tea and cake! The staff did everything to help my father feel the best he could. At no point did we ever feel he was rushed. My father was given time in every way. We will always be so grateful.

I visit 3 to 4 times per week and am always welcomed by all the staff. The food is basic but is just what she needs as anything too fancy would be wasted on her. Staff regularly check on her and bring her cups of tea on request. The room is clean and tidy and is perfect.

Dad has been at Bybrook since January 2025. He has limited mobility. The quality of care is excellent. The staff are attentive, respectful and very kind. Any medical issues are dealt with promptly by the trained nurses and communicated to the doctors surgery fpr action. His room is spotless, and his clothes are always clean. He enjoys the food, which is always varied and of good quality. Mum was also a resident, and on her passing, she was dealt with dignity and respect, as were the whole family. Having had experience with other care homes, I am very pleased we came across Bybrook.

When contacted by my late mother's GP, Maria (Home Manager) truly went over and above to accommodate resulting in my late mother being admitted, as a palliative care patient, to receive her much needed end of life care.

Upon admission my late mother was settled into a lovely spacious room, and almost instantly looked far more comfortable than we had seen her for a while. She was only there for a week before passing away but throughout this time the care, compassion and professionalism shown by everyone towards her, and indeed us, during her end of life journey was superb.

Words aren't enough to convey just how much we value the support provided to both my late mother and us during a very difficult time. We too feel a special mention is required for Anna as she also went above and beyond with her support for us.
