My mother has recently become a resident of Wells Nursing home.
I cannot praise the staff enough for their professionalism, kindness and support to my mother, my brother and myself.
The home is clean and well maintained with a lovely warm and welcoming feeling.

Our elderly relative came to this facility after a spell in the hospital. We can't fault the excellent care afforded to him by management and staff at The Wells Nursing Home. His health and well-being has improved immensely under their care and the food supplied is of excellent quality. Beautiful grounds
for leisure. Great interaction with visitors and relatives.

All the staff I've met seem nice and friendly. They do lots of different things, e.g. activities, events, etc., to cater for a wide range of people. The staff will do all they can to make the residents happy. The rooms could be a little cleaner. Quite often, when I visit, there are bits all over the
floor, and the commode is full. Once the staff are made aware of this, they then act quickly to rectify it. The room my nan is in is quite small, but she is very happy there though.

Prior to the move-in date, I was given a tour of the home and the room for my husband.
We discussed the proximity of facilities, activities set out for residents and the overall care plan. The efficiency and care gone into planning for the move-in date was fantastic.
While some facilities may have
required cosmetic updating, which the home was in the process of doing, all staff have been absolutely amazing.
On the actual move-in date, everyone was so welcoming on what was a very emotional day, as my husband had spent a long time in hospital before moving into the Wells Nursing Home. We had lunch together and had time to settle in.
It was the start of a journey of excellent support both for my husband and myself. His room is always clean, his clothes immaculate and the food is top quality.
The garden is beautiful and wheelchair-friendly, and we get to have some quality time together.
I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for excellent care for their loved ones.

I couldn't ask for nicer staff to look after my mother in her final months. She came in as a respite patient and never left. She is now in her final days and the care that the staff have taken of her could not have been better. She smiles when they walk into the room and she is very compliant with
them. They treat her with dignity and respect acquiescing to any of my requests. Beautiful people.
The facilities and the rooms are clean, well maintained and the cleaning staff work very hard to keep it that way.
The management have been readily available and extremely professional, especially when dealing with our particular family issues.
I can't fault this home

My mother comae her after a long hospital stay and did not want to go into care, but as she was unable to care for herself and not mobile, she has little choice but the improvement in her mood and motivation are noticuble, she admits she is happy here, staff are very good as is the food and all activities,
she has made friends which is lovely to see. The manager is very caring and has done everything she can to make my mother welcome.

The gardens are particularly beautiful and peaceful. The staff were wonderful and kind. The bedroom was very nice with lovely views. The manager was lovely and arranged for a TV and recliner chair to be in my room. I look forward to returning again later in the year.

The Wells Nursing Home provide excellent care for my mother, who is 92 years old. The staff are friendly, and aim to build a relationship with the residents. All needs are well provided for both personal and general. Activities are a regular feature of the nursing home, which all residents are encouraged
to participate in, which provides essential social interaction. My mother is very happy with her care.

I have now been at Pondsmead for 18 months and I am very happy to call it my home. My delightful room is comfortable and cosy and overlooks part of the garden where, at my request, some new plants have recently been added. All the staff work hard and must get very tired but they are always cheerful
and friendly, and show great patience towards the more challenging residents. I have always received respect and kindness and I endeavor to treat them in the same way. Being in my 80s I have a number of older friends, and I have recommended Pondsmead to them all!

My brother has only been a resident for a short period, but the staff have made every effort to ensure he has settled and is comfortable. He is always showered and shaved when we visit, and very much looks forward to his meals which are excellent, well presented and hot. The team are always welcoming
and always try to address any queries we may have.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting South Cary House, what a Beautiful Care Home and I must say, my experience was exceptional. The staff were incredibly professional and polite, making me feel welcome and comfortable from the moment I arrived. The care provided at this facility is truly outstanding
- the residents are well taken care of and the home is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the home was evident as soon as I walked in, and I have no doubt that the residents feel just as welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend South Cary house to anyone in search of a caring and comfortable home for their loved ones.

It has been my experience that most of the staff give far more to their job and the residents than the basic responsibility required by their employment contractual obligation. The manager in particular can be best described in one word as 'dedicated'.

My wife and I recently visited South Cary House to visit our friend who has resided there since October last year. It was so nice to see him happy, comfortable and feeling safe. He spoke very highly of all the staff and indeed on our two visits we too have been super impressed with the friendly and
caring nature of everyone we met whilst there. Our friend told us that he was really happy with all his food and having commented to the staff on the lovely smells of a roast dinner being cooked we were even offered the chance to stay for lunch.
All in all a lovely place for our friend to now be living in.
