Hello, my name is Anni, and I'm the General Manager here at The Wingfield Care Home welcome to our website.

I've been a registered nurse since 2012, completing my nurse training in Kerala, India. I have extensive experience within the care home setting and strive to continually improve the quality of service we provide, with a particular focus on person-centred care.

I'm so proud to be the General Manager here and see Wingfield as being a home that can support every stage of later life and who are in the unique position of having two separate homes.

If you're at the stage of having to make the difficult and emotional decision regarding future care for your loved one or are considering available options, Wingfield's doors are always open for you to visit at any time.

Hello, my name is Lavinia, and I am the Unit Manager of The Lodge Community here at The Wingfield. I trained as a nurse in Romania and moved to the UK nine years ago. Initially, I was a nurse at a care home in Devon, and then I joined The Wingfield seven years ago. I have worked as a nurse in all the communities here. I was promoted to the Head of our Memory Lane Community, and now I am enjoying my role as Head of Community in our separate building, The Lodge.

I love working with our wonderful residents, listening to their life stories and being part of their lives. My role as Head of Community means I am able to spend time with all our residents.

Hello, my name is Ken, and I am the nurse unit manager here at The Wingfield on Forget Me Not Lane. I have been at Barchester for 3 years now and thoroughly enjoy my role here. I have experience working both days and nights and am now the unit manager of the dementia floor.

Hello, my name is Tracey. I have been working for Barchester for over 5 years. Originally, as the Head of Housekeeping, I was very hands-on alongside the maintenance team. When I was approached by the manager to be the Head of Maintenance, I jumped at the chance. I am here with the team to make the home a safe and well-maintained place to live, work and visit.

I have been working here since 2021. I like to keep everything organised and tidy and take pride in the work and my team accomplish, I practice a whole home approach and like to help out other departments.
