The food is more than adequate. Thanks to the staff and management.

Staff are always efficient, kind and helpful, also cheerful despite working long shifts in an environment which is not air-conditioned and reached at least 30 degrees in hot summer. Fans provided are fundamentally insufficient and noisy. Air conditioning plus solar panels would provide cheaper operation. Rooms I grade as poor because of warn-out, immensely heavy and uncomfortable chairs provided in our room and lack of space - don't know about other rooms. Sometimes it is difficult to find a member of staff.

Grandad now needs full time care. My family were informed of Kings Court Care Home and we didn't know what to expect. The moment I walked into the home, I was more than impressed. The home is beautifully clean, spacious, has good facilities, and I love the relaxed atmosphere. Most of all, the staff are wonderful, every one of them. Always a warm welcome from the reception team and office staff, and large praise and thanks to the care staff who attend to Grandad's needs. Nothing is ever too much trouble. My family and I can go home after a visit, knowing Grandad is in safe hands and with our minds at rest, looking forward to another visit.

I can highly recommend KCCC. I have great admiration for those who work there. It is not easy work, but they give all they can to those who need their help. A big thank you!

All the staff are well-trained, efficient and friendly. Always willing to help and polite.Very clean. When you visit from the main door, everyone has a smile, which is very welcoming. The activities team are excellent with the residents. Again, very cheerful and friendly. There has been a change in the food. Presented well and a good variety of lovely sauces with meals. Excellent. I have no problems and would recommend Kings Court.

My experience of this home is positive. The staff are amazing: kind, compassionate, caring, professional. If I have questions regarding my mother's care they are very approachable and happy to talk/explain any course of action. Although adequate, the bedrooms/en-suites are small and social spaces are rather limited.

We have been extremely happy with the care provided for my father. The management and reception staff are readily available, professional as well as being friendly, and quick to address any concerns.

The nurses are highly professional and willing to listen to any concerns with kindness, patience and care.

All the care staff have been delightful, always with a ready smile and eagerness to assist if needed. They really try hard to get to know what my father likes and doesn't like, which makes us feel happier that they really do care. My father is always clean and dressed every day.

The activity ladies always try and include my father where possible and the chefs and cooks provide a variety of nice home cooked food. The maintenance team have been quick to respond too when my father's T.V. didn't work. Everyone has been attentive.

Compared to other care facilities we have had loved ones in, none have compared to the excellent care provided for my father by Kings Court.

We are still getting to know the staff but impressed with the caring and professional approach. Sure my husband will be well looked after.

My Mum was moved here in March due to increasing care needs. She has settled in really well and all of the staff that I have had contact with have been supportive and helpful. I have not been able to visit as often as I would like due to other things going on, but I get a call every so often with an update on how Mum is doing and if I call there is always someone on hand to talk to me and reassure me that everything is going well. The staff member on reception is lovely and so caring, the managers are also brilliant and have everything under control. I was really worried about the move due to Mum's condition, but she actually seems brighter in her mood and smiles more often than she did before! Thank you to everyone for making Mum comfortable in her new home.

Mums quality of care is exceptional, every member of staff are hard working and are always available to attend with her needs, with utmost dignity and compassion.

Mum doesn't always want to participate in activities but the staff encourage her to do so, when she does she always enjoys her self.

Loverly caring staff always helpful and ready to listen. Mum loves the care staff who look after her daily. mum calls kings court her home and is very settled.The food Menu has much improved with real home cooking and a much better choice of food. With a new TV now in the dinning area upstair feels more like a home.plenty going on if residents want to join in daily great improvement.

Mum was moved from a previous Care Home to Kings Court in May 2025 we were concerned about her settling in okay but we didn't need to worry she settled in really quickly and is very happy. It was great she could have her own personal things around her making it homely. All the staff are brilliant always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It makes our family life easier knowing that mum is being looked after. Thank you to everyone xx

ALL the staff are fantastic - they have time to chat with Mum and are always available to help her. They are friendly yet professional and I am deeply impressed with the happy atmosphere in this home. Thank you!

There are many adjectives I could use to describe the care my husband received during the past 11 months. All staff from management to auxiliaries continued to attend to his every need in a fastidious, meticulous, conscientious, careful, vigilant and respectful manner. He was never treated as a burden. His passing was dealt with in a professional yet dignified manner and my own and my daughter's individual concerns in an incredibly caring way.

The staff are kind, caring, patient, and utterly professional - to the residents and their families.

My relative was in this home for around 6 weeks and for the most part he was adequately cared for. The staff were busy but pleasant. The lady on reception was lovely and really welcoming and friendly. The food was not great and was always cold but he had adequate meals nonetheless. There is a day room and a garden that residents and visitors can go to if you don't want to stay in the room and have a change of scenery which was helpful. The home was always stiflingly hot. It was always meant to be a temporary stay for my relative but when he had a fall and was taken to the hospital, the care home contacted the hospital almost as soon as he had left to tell the doctors treating him that he could not go back, with no explanation to him or the family. Subsequently, we were called to collect his things with no explanation from them. We have still not had any other contact from the home to offer an explanation.

My sister has now been in Kings Court Care Home for a year now, she came in for respite but unfortunately has needed more care. All the staff have been very kind and supportive, every question we ask for has been dealt with efficiently.

Unfortunately I had to make the difficult decision to move my dad into a care home but it has made it easier thanks to the staff at Kings, they are all friendly and make my Dad feel relaxed. He is a bit of a joker and they all have fun with him and his banter. Love the fact they have entertainment for the residents (twice a day most days), and they don't mind families joining in. Visitors may feel the home is a bit clinical compared to some homes which look like a Hotel but it's the staff not the building, that's important. Any issues, I speak to reception they get onto it straight away. The Chef is so helpful/flexible, if Dad doesn't like/want the food given, it's never too much trouble to go and get him something else. They have a 'pub' with darts and pool table (although sometimes occupied with staff training which is annoying). Nice garden and lounge area (but need a TV in there for residents to sit together and watch TV). Overall I'm happy with Dad's new home. Both Dad and I have made new friends.

I cannot fault the care my father gets at King's Court. The staff are more like family or close friends than anything else. They genuinely all care about their residents and go above and beyond to make sure that they are happy, stimulated and well looked after. I couldn't wish for a better environment for my father and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
