The reason I have ticked all the boxes as excellent is because this is what I have found.
After 64 years of marriage being in a care home is something neither of us wanted.
After some weeks in this home, my husband seems to be content and I can go home in the comfort that he is well looked after and is in safe hands.

The reason I have not ticked the activities box is because it's his decision not to partake.

One of the best care homes in Swindon. Staff are great and lovely they all make you welcome and happy, plus they are one of the family.

I would like to keep my mum here permanently as my mum chose this as her second home.

My mother was in Kings Court Care home from January 20th until March 23rd. She was well cared for and treated with respect. My family and myself were very grateful for the care given to mum while she was at Kings Court Care home.

I would like to say that the home was very good, and my mother was well cared for. The staffing levels were a bit of an issue. The home was well-run, I have no issues with any of the care given.

May we please thank ALL members of staff at Kings Court, for their kindness, care and attention shown to Dad and ourselves during his recent move to the home, and, sadly the last few weeks of his life. The care and attention shown, was very much appreciated and cannot be faulted in any way. One nurse became a friend during Dads quite short, but well cared for stay.

Thank you ALL from the bottom of our hearts.

My sister suffered from serious dementia and lived at Kings Court for several months. Everyone was very helpful when she moved in and continued to be so. She had a lovely single room and it was noticeable how bright and airy the home is, with residents walking around and not shut in their rooms with the doors closed. All the staff were always very attentive and helpful and prepared to talk to visitors. My sister needed constant care, and a big thank you is due to the particular staff involved in that. They carried out a difficult task in a very sympathetic way and always seemed to put her first, and be thinking of ways to try and make her feel better. The best nursing home I have ever been to. Thank you all.

My Aunt was a resident at Kings Court for nearly a year before her recent passing.

I would just like to say how thankful I am to your staff that cared for her, how she always looked clean and tidy, and well cared for and despite being told she was receiving ‘end of life care’ she always looked pain-free.

Whenever I visited Kings Court, along with my family members, your staff have always been helpful, approachable and very professional.

I am really impressed with the standard of care given to my Aunt during her stay with you, and would highly recommend this nursing home to others.

Her room was always spotless and always had clean laundry.

I can’t thank you enough for treating my Aunt with the respect and dignity she deserved.

Please thank all your lovely staff that looked after her, you should be very proud of every one of them, please pass on my thanks.

Kings Court Nursing Home is a very friendly homely home. The carers are very caring and look after the residents very well and work very hard. The kitchen, cleaners and laundry staff are all very helpful and hard working. Just like the carers, the nursing staff and management are excellent at giving support and keeping you updated on your relative and keep you involved, very helpful.

The activities lady works very hard to organise events for the residents. It is a nice warm welcoming nursing home. I am happy with the care my mum gets and she is much better since she has been in Kings Court. 100% better from where she was and she is much happier than she was and looks better even with her dementia and needs.

My wife has been a resident here since July 2016 with vascular dementia. I have visited regularly and I am satisfied with the care the staff and management are very attentive to my wife's needs and I attend all care meetings. Any queries are dealt with promptly and courteously as most staff are from abroad. The new company since September is an improvement and I am confident that my wife's care will be paramount. I have applied to do voluntary duties for them once my application is approved.

Nobody ever wishes their relatives to end their days in a care home. However, if they must I can't really fault the care given to my father. Dad was a very private person and his wishes were respected while maintaining an excellent level of care overall. The buildings obviously required maintenance and were in a transition period during my father's stay. The staff could not have been better, a special thanks to four particular carers for making the very best of a bad situation. Very well done to everyone else. I will never forget you all.

Hello, my name is Orsolya (Ursula) and I am a proud NMC registrant as a Registered General Nurse and the Manager of Kings Court Care Centre.

I began my clinical career in my home country Romania in 2010 where I volunteered as a Paramedic for SMURD, an emergency care service. I qualified as a Nurse in 2012 and then moved- to the UK in 2013. I began my career in the health and social care industry in the UK as a member of the housekeeping team and then I moved into a Health Care Assistant role. I soon progressed into a Senior Care Assistant role in 2019 while I was working towards my NMC registration and I was delighted to earn my PIN number in 2020.

My first role as a RGN was during the height of the coronavirus pandemic which was challenging both physically and mentally but incredibly rewarding and resulted in my promotion to Clinical Lead.

A career highlight is my receipt of the Social Care Nurse Award; South West Regional British Care Awards 2020.

My journey with MMCG began in August 2021 and I moved into the Deputy Manager role in May 2022.

It is my goal to be a positive inspiration and influence for people who live, work, and visit our home. I want to be a leader and Nurse who ensures that it is of paramount importance that the care centre is the service user's home and the team I work with put this into everything we do to provide quality care and support and feel like together we are a family.
