We couldn't wish for better care for my Dad. There's care staff, nurses and a doctor to cater for all their needs. Ensuring the residents' dignity is a high priority amongst everyone, which I find so lovely. Then there's an activities team! Not one that pops in now and again, one that's there every day, providing two activities a day. Pub visits, cinema visits, bingo, garden games, singers, and so much more. Three meals a day and lovely little snacks throughout too. Pop in any time, without notice, and you'll see it runs perfectly all the time. I'd be happy here if it was my time to be in care.

My mum was a patient at Kings Court Care Home for the last 13 months of her life. Kings Court are absolutely fantastic, they treated my mum with so much dignity and respect, made me so happy when at the end of each visit I knew she was being well cared for. From the general staff who served her meals to the amazing nursing team and management team she was treated so well. The entertainment team absolutely amazing, they used to do her hair and her nails, which she loved. Every time I visited, they made me feel so welcome. It was always a pleasure going there. They were so good to me and I was lucky enough to make new friends. If I could give a 10-star rating, I would. Well done Kings Court, keep up the amazing work.

My Nan has been in Kings Court for 7-8 years and she loves it. Some of the staff are really helpful, and always making my Nan smile. The activities my Nan takes part in she really enjoys. Activities for example bingo, colouring and games. There's always something going on for the residents. The activities ladies are great. What a lovely home.

From day one my experience exceeded beyond excellent. The staff (in all areas), the cleanliness and the care and attention. My mum's well-being is so looked after. She is safe, happy and contented and loves every member of staff, as I do. I have told all my family and friends about my mum's care here and everyone is so happy to hear this.

I cannot praise the staff of the care home highly enough. The carers in particular are extremely patient, calm and friendly. They take pride in their work and are very warm, considerate and positive. This is also true of the staff as a whole. It is a like one big family and everyone (reception, nurses, site managers admin staff, and the enthusiastic entertainment team) has time to spare to be helpful and friendly. It really is a team full of smiling, friendly faces.

Overall Experience
My partner was taken into Kings Court in January 2023, where she remained until she passed away in July of this year. Except for Covid regulations, I visited normally 6 times a week.
I can only express my thanks to all staff and carers for the way my partner was treated and looked after. I came at all different hours of the day and was always welcomed with a smile.
I came to know the carers and nurses on her floor very well and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I could speak to the sister about anything, and they would keep me up to date daily if she had any medical problems even though they knew I was visiting nearly every day.
Many thanks to the recreational staff for always trying to involve my partner, even though they knew she couldn't do anything for herself. She always won prizes when we played bingo.

Again many thanks to all staff from management, reception staff, and all the carers and nurses.

My mother had 2 or 3 falls in her flat, so I was concerned that the net fall could be serious, so the ideal place to move Mum was to Kings Court Care Centre. The establishment itself is clean and spacious and the individual rooms are ample.

The staff have been brilliant, assisting Mum in every way they can. The food is satisfying and my mum enjoyed doing all the activities.

My mum was in Kings Court for less than two weeks. In that short time, she was well looked after and the staff recognised me and constantly rang me to see what Mum liked. At the end of her days, she was not left alone and the staff all spoke to her whether she could hear them or not. I am really grateful for their care, nothing was too much trouble.

My father was in your care for 6 months with dementia and sadly passed away on 26th May 2022 at Kings Court. In all the time he was there, he was treated with respect, dignity and care and with professionalism. We cannot thank all of them enough for their care, not only to Father, but Mother as well.

Dad had amazing love and care at Kings Court. Everybody loved him, the care and attention they gave my dad was amazing. He was always lovely, clean and tidy and always smelt amazing. Food was of great quality and variety and plentiful. I often went in on a Friday lunchtime and Dad always cleaned his plate and there was always plenty more readily available.

My mother spent her last few months at Kings Court. Staff were very helpful during the covid restrictions and I was able to speak to my mother on the phone every day. When she was near the end I was allowed to visit - sadly I was not there when she passed away. Staff were very caring but my mother was in isolation which must have been very lonely for her. My mother seemed to be well looked after, however, there was no contact from Kings Court after the initial phone call to tell me she had passed away, very upsetting that they did not even offer condolences.

My wife was fondly loved by the staff at Kings Court where she spent the final 18 months of her life. Nothing was too much trouble to make her life the best it could possibly be. They really got to know her needs and the love and care shown to my wife was often over and above the call of duty. The staff always listened to our concerns and were professional, friendly and helpful. This applies at all levels, from management, carers, nurses right through to house maintenance.

I visit my mother every day of the week. I worried where to place my mum but I couldn't have chosen a better place for her. All her needs have been met right from the word go. Staff through from carers right up to the manager are absolutely excellent. The home is always clean, food is cooked freshly every day. My mum no longer eats but they always try to entice her with all sorts. Staff are so friendly and they make me welcome every day. They are very jolly and greatly professional. I chose this home out of 4 other care/nursing homes and I couldn't have made a better choice! Perfect.

My late father was a resident for about 2 months. He was suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia for many years now. I arrived 6 days ago to see him at the Kings Caring Home. I was met by outstanding staff, to be honest, its the first time I have been in this situation. They made me and my family very welcome at the home. I spent the last 6 days of his life at his bedside. This was only possible because of the wonderful team they have at Kings Caring Home. They also took care of me and my mother who was also very ill at the time. They moved a bed in beside My father so they could be together to the end. A very hearty warming gesture from the staff. I was totally blown away by the personal care they showed for my father at the end all coming in to say goodbye a personal touch you Will NOT find anywhere else. I would like to say a special thank you to the carers for their professional, caring and total love you all have for your job. Angles of Mercy????

Orsolya SzaszJob Title:ManagerJoined: 2023

Hello, my name is Orsolya (Ursula) and I am a proud NMC registrant as a Registered General Nurse and the Manager of Kings Court Care Centre.

I began my clinical career in my home country Romania in 2010 where I volunteered as a Paramedic for SMURD, an emergency care service. I qualified as a Nurse in 2012 and then moved- to the UK in 2013. I began my career in the health and social care industry in the UK as a member of the housekeeping team and then I moved into a Health Care Assistant role. I soon progressed into a Senior Care Assistant role in 2019 while I was working towards my NMC registration and I was delighted to earn my PIN number in 2020.

My first role as a RGN was during the height of the coronavirus pandemic which was challenging both physically and mentally but incredibly rewarding and resulted in my promotion to Clinical Lead.

A career highlight is my receipt of the Social Care Nurse Award; South West Regional British Care Awards 2020.

My journey with MMCG began in August 2021 and I moved into the Deputy Manager role in May 2022.

It is my goal to be a positive inspiration and influence for people who live, work, and visit our home. I want to be a leader and Nurse who ensures that it is of paramount importance that the care centre is the service user's home and the team I work with put this into everything we do to provide quality care and support and feel like together we are a family.
