My dad has been here for about 3 months. I cannot fault anything. All the staff are very kind, caring and welcoming. My dad receives excellent care and support from very friendly staff. The facilities are great and my dad feels included in every aspect. I wouldn't want my dad anywhere else.

I cannot praise the staff of the care home highly enough. The carers in particular are extremely patient, calm and friendly. They take pride in their work and are very warm, considerate and positive. This is also true of the staff as a whole. It is a like one big family and everyone (reception, nurses,
site managers admin staff, and the enthusiastic entertainment team) has time to spare to be helpful and friendly. It really is a team full of smiling, friendly faces.

My partner was taken into Kings Court in January 2023, where she remained until she passed away in July of this year. Except for Covid regulations, I visited normally 6 times a week.
I can only express my thanks to all staff and carers for the way my partner was treated and looked after. I came at
all different hours of the day and was always welcomed with a smile.
I came to know the carers and nurses on her floor very well and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I could speak to the sister about anything, and they would keep me up to date daily if she had any medical problems even though they knew I was visiting nearly every day.
Many thanks to the recreational staff for always trying to involve my partner, even though they knew she couldn't do anything for herself. She always won prizes when we played bingo.
Again many thanks to all staff from management, reception staff, and all the carers and nurses.

My mother had 2 or 3 falls in her flat, so I was concerned that the net fall could be serious, so the ideal place to move Mum was to Kings Court Care Centre. The establishment itself is clean and spacious and the individual rooms are ample.
The staff have been brilliant, assisting Mum in every way
they can. The food is satisfying and my mum enjoyed doing all the activities.

My mum was in Kings Court for less than two weeks. In that short time, she was well looked after and the staff recognised me and constantly rang me to see what Mum liked. At the end of her days, she was not left alone and the staff all spoke to her whether she could hear them or not. I am really grateful
for their care, nothing was too much trouble.

Dad was treated with care by the staff at Kings Court Care Centre. The activities lady is really good and sadly Dad departed as he had really got into the events. I am glad that Dad went to Kings Court Care Centre rather than anywhere else.

My father was in your care for 6 months with dementia and sadly passed away on 26th May 2022 at Kings Court. In all the time he was there, he was treated with respect, dignity and care and with professionalism. We cannot thank all of them enough for their care, not only to Father, but Mother as well.

Dad had amazing love and care at Kings Court. Everybody loved him, the care and attention they gave my dad was amazing. He was always lovely, clean and tidy and always smelt amazing. Food was of great quality and variety and plentiful. I often went in on a Friday lunchtime and Dad always cleaned his
plate and there was always plenty more readily available.

My mother spent her last few months at Kings Court. Staff were very helpful during the covid restrictions and I was able to speak to my mother on the phone every day. When she was near the end I was allowed to visit - sadly I was not there when she passed away. Staff were very caring but my mother was
in isolation which must have been very lonely for her. My mother seemed to be well looked after, however, there was no contact from Kings Court after the initial phone call to tell me she had passed away, very upsetting that they did not even offer condolences.

My wife was fondly loved by the staff at Kings Court where she spent the final 18 months of her life. Nothing was too much trouble to make her life the best it could possibly be. They really got to know her needs and the love and care shown to my wife was often over and above the call of duty. The staff
always listened to our concerns and were professional, friendly and helpful. This applies at all levels, from management, carers, nurses right through to house maintenance.

I visit my mother every day of the week. I worried where to place my mum but I couldn't have chosen a better place for her. All her needs have been met right from the word go. Staff through from carers right up to the manager are absolutely excellent. The home is always clean, food is cooked freshly
every day. My mum no longer eats but they always try to entice her with all sorts. Staff are so friendly and they make me welcome every day. They are very jolly and greatly professional. I chose this home out of 4 other care/nursing homes and I couldn't have made a better choice! Perfect.

My late father was a resident for about 2 months. He was suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia for many years now. I arrived 6 days ago to see him at the Kings Caring Home. I was met by outstanding staff, to be honest, its the first time I have been in this situation. They made me and my family very
welcome at the home. I spent the last 6 days of his life at his bedside. This was only possible because of the wonderful team they have at Kings Caring Home. They also took care of me and my mother who was also very ill at the time. They moved a bed in beside My father so they could be together to the end. A very hearty warming gesture from the staff. I was totally blown away by the personal care they showed for my father at the end all coming in to say goodbye a personal touch you Will NOT find anywhere else. I would like to say a special thank you to the carers for their professional, caring and total love you all have for your job. Angles of Mercy????

I cannot fault the care of my aunt, in the short while she was in Kings Court.
They also cared about me and were extremely helpful at all times. I would have no problem in recommending this place to others.

From the resident, who did not want to go into a home, 'It's alright as far as homes go'. I consider this a ringing endorsement! The carers are all cheerful, patient and thoughtful. I live overseas and am very comforted that Nan has such great care. She enjoys the activities, especially the tea parties
and music. She is always clean and her room is spotless. Better care could be done for things like teeth and hearing aids, but overall I am very impressed and wouldn't want her to stay anywhere else.

My mother died at Kings Court Care Centre on 2nd August 2019 - she had been a resident for the last six months of her life. The nurses were both very kind and caring to both of my parents. My dad, who is elderly, found it difficult to see my mum suffering and was very glad to have the reassurance of
the nurses on the Dementia unit. The nurses were able to anticipate my mum's needs when she was dying and administered medication in a swift and efficient manner.
I work as a nurse and I am used to caring for patients in care home settings. I would only be likely to recommend Kings Court mainly because I do not live in the local area.
Thank you again for all your kindness and support in what was a difficult time.

Throughout the 2 years, my mother was a resident at Kings Court I never heard any staff speaking unkindly to any residents. All the staff always treated residents with respect and dignity. The staff were extremely kind to my mother in her final days and were very sympathetic to the family's needs. It
was a comfort to know that mum was in a safe place.

Orsolya Szasz

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2023

Hello, my name is Orsolya (Ursula) and I am a proud NMC registrant as a Registered General Nurse and the Manager of Kings Court Care Centre.


I began my clinical career in my home country Romania in 2010 where I volunteered as a Paramedic for SMURD, an emergency care service. I qualified as a Nurse in 2012 and then moved- to the UK in 2013. I began my career in the health and social care industry in the UK as a member of the housekeeping team and then I moved into a Health Care Assistant role. I soon progressed into a Senior Care Assistant role in 2019 while I was working towards my NMC registration and I was delighted to earn my PIN number in 2020.


My first role as a RGN was during the height of the coronavirus pandemic which was challenging both physically and mentally but incredibly rewarding and resulted in my promotion to Clinical Lead.


A career highlight is my receipt of the Social Care Nurse Award; South West Regional British Care Awards 2020.


My journey with MMCG began in August 2021 and I moved into the Deputy Manager role in May 2022.


It is my goal to be a positive inspiration and influence for people who live, work, and visit Princess Lodge. I want to be a leader and Nurse who ensures that it is of paramount importance that the care centre is the service user's home and the team I work with put this into everything we do to provide quality care and support and feel like together we are a family.
