Hello, my name is Orsolya (Ursula) and I am a proud NMC registrant as a Registered General Nurse and the Manager of Kings Court Care Centre.
I began my clinical career in my home country Romania in 2010 where I volunteered as a Paramedic for SMURD, an emergency care service. I qualified as a Nurse in 2012 and then moved- to the UK in 2013. I began my career in the health and social care industry in the UK as a member of the housekeeping team and then I moved into a Health Care Assistant role. I soon progressed into a Senior Care Assistant role in 2019 while I was working towards my NMC registration and I was delighted to earn my PIN number in 2020.
My first role as a RGN was during the height of the coronavirus pandemic which was challenging both physically and mentally but incredibly rewarding and resulted in my promotion to Clinical Lead.
A career highlight is my receipt of the Social Care Nurse Award; South West Regional British Care Awards 2020.
My journey with MMCG began in August 2021 and I moved into the Deputy Manager role in May 2022.
It is my goal to be a positive inspiration and influence for people who live, work, and visit Princess Lodge. I want to be a leader and Nurse who ensures that it is of paramount importance that the care centre is the service user's home and the team I work with put this into everything we do to provide quality care and support and feel like together we are a family.
