My mother was a resident for a short time but the care she received was exceptional. All the staff was so caring and thoughtful, they not only cared for her but also my 90-year-old father who sat with Mum every day for at least 7 hours per day for the five days she was there, they tended his needs gracefully.
She passed surrounded by all of her family, calmly and peacefully and this we feel was due to the care she was shown along with her loving family. Thank you.

The staff were very kind and caring. They treated my wife with care and dignity. They took a personal interest in her although she was unable to communicate. They made me feel at home and cared for when the end came.

After a shaky start, plus not having a review on my mother's needs for some weeks after her being admitted, I am quite happy with the care she got especially her personal nurses and management who was wonderful in my mother's last few weeks.
I would add though that trying to get hold of anyone at
head office to discuss finance was:


1) Impossible - complete ineptness.
2) Appalling customer care - rude, abrupt, unhelpful.

The care was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. My father was in a lot of pain but the staff were very caring and did everything they could to make my father comfortable. We were always informed and included in his care. We cannot thank them all enough. All the staff were excellent but especially

Dad was in King's Court for only a week but the genuine care and consideration he received from the support team at King's Court was wonderful.
The compassion shown to not only Dad but to us, his family was lovely and we would definitely recommend King's Court.

My family are extremely thankful for the care that was taken looking after our Mum/Nannie. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The home itself a bright and cheery residence with lots of smiles. Also various activities everyone was able to share in.

The care team at Kings Court Care Centre were first rate. The support they gave my father before his death in June 2018 was deeply caring. The senior nurse called him "lover boy" and other sweet names he enjoyed. When my mother was left alone following his death, the staff had unlimited time to care
for her and engage her with 2 friends. Following mum's second stroke the palliative care support was 100% all the way up to the manager. Thank you all so much.

Very compassionate and care is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble.
Also, very friendly and always there to talk to and put your mind at rest. Staff and management go out of their way to make you feel welcome like it's your own home.

Our family were very happy with the care dad received at Kings Court. He went there from hospital with inoperable gangrene in his foot and dementia. The staff were very kind to dad and patient with him always. The staff were kind and supportive to our family in the 5 weeks dad was with them.
In the
final days of dad's life, they ensured it ended very peacefully. We couldn't have asked for more from them. Thank you all.

Dad was very apprehensive about being transferred to a care home from hospital temporarily as he was non-weight bearing on one leg, but he is very happy with the care and service provided by all of the staff, quality and quantity of food given is excellent and everything is very clean and tidy.

My mother was resident at Kings Court from 8th February 2018 to 21st April 2018 on a "discharge to assess" bed, the final week being privately funded. Throughout her stay, she had the highest standard of care and the staff were all so helpful and kind. As a family, we cannot fault the care she had which
aided her recovery so much. We would definitely recommend this home.

I am extremely happy with Kings Court Care Centre, especially the understanding support and active role of the staff. Not only in their attitude to my mother in residence but as importantly in supporting me in this situation. I am impressed with the daily activities which have provided confidence and

The reason I have ticked all the boxes as excellent is because this is what I have found.
After 64 years of marriage being in a care home is something neither of us wanted.
After some weeks in this home, my husband seems to be content and I can go home in the comfort that he is well looked after and
is in safe hands.
The reason I have not ticked the activities box is because it's his decision not to partake.

The time mum was in a care home, my dad and I found mum clean, well fed and warm. The staff are caring, friendly and helpful to mum, dad and me. We also found management to be helpful and friendly.

Orsolya Szasz

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2023

Hello, my name is Orsolya (Ursula) and I am a proud NMC registrant as a Registered General Nurse and the Manager of Kings Court Care Centre.


I began my clinical career in my home country Romania in 2010 where I volunteered as a Paramedic for SMURD, an emergency care service. I qualified as a Nurse in 2012 and then moved- to the UK in 2013. I began my career in the health and social care industry in the UK as a member of the housekeeping team and then I moved into a Health Care Assistant role. I soon progressed into a Senior Care Assistant role in 2019 while I was working towards my NMC registration and I was delighted to earn my PIN number in 2020.


My first role as a RGN was during the height of the coronavirus pandemic which was challenging both physically and mentally but incredibly rewarding and resulted in my promotion to Clinical Lead.


A career highlight is my receipt of the Social Care Nurse Award; South West Regional British Care Awards 2020.


My journey with MMCG began in August 2021 and I moved into the Deputy Manager role in May 2022.


It is my goal to be a positive inspiration and influence for people who live, work, and visit Princess Lodge. I want to be a leader and Nurse who ensures that it is of paramount importance that the care centre is the service user's home and the team I work with put this into everything we do to provide quality care and support and feel like together we are a family.
