I would like to personally thank all the staff on the 1st floor for looking after my dad

Nursing fees is the cost as quoted plus FNC
Sundry items such as hairdressing and beauty therapies, chiropody, dentistry, private prescriptions, dry cleaning, toiletries, etc, are not included in our weekly fee
Fees include all personal and nursing care, accommodation, food, drinks, snacks, laundry, bed linen & towels, in-house activities and utilities.
There are no time restrictions on the visiting hours but if possible please avoid lunch and dinner time.
There is ample car parking at the Care Home

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to speak to me (the home manager) on the phone recently regarding your experience last year. While your mother was with us in the past, we too have thoroughly enjoyed her company, our aim is always to put the wellbeing and safety of our residents and staff first, as you mentioned we promptly ensured that corrective action was taken at the time of your mom’s stay. However, if your mom’s needs change, please do not hesitate to contact us and hopefully, we would be able to offer you the respite that you so deservedly need and a safe haven for your mother.

A nurse from the Philippines, I completed my BSc in Nursing in 1995.
I started as a volunteer nurse in a Community hospital for 6 months before I went to Libya, where I worked for almost 3 years as an A&E and ICU nurse. During this time, I got married and our first daughter was born in 1998.
Arriving in the UK in early 2001, I worked for BUPA, moving up the ranks to Charge Nurse, Unit Lead and eventually Deputy Manager. After 18 years, I decided to look for a company that offered further progression, and I found MACC Care. In February 2019, I joined Abbey Rose as one of the Clinical Leads and was promoted to Home Manager in August 2021.
My wife is also a nurse, and together we have four daughters. When I’m not working, I love sports, especially basketball. My favourite food apart from our national dish (Adobo) is sushi, curry, and nothing beats barbeque spare ribs in barbeque sauce!
