Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience.
Your kind words mean a great deal to our entire team. We are committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care and supporting not only our residents but also their families every step of the...
My wife's stay was just over a week, but even so, the kindness and care shown could not be faulted. Even as visitors, we were treated so sympathetically to the extent that our final vigil refreshments were provided. Regarding the option, the facilities, activities, and value for money did not apply. However, it was obvious from the notice boards that facilities and activities were well catered for.
Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful comments regarding your wife's stay with us.
Although her time at Woodgreen Nursing Home was relatively short, we are truly pleased to hear that both you and your wife felt supported, cared for, and treated with kindness throughout such an...

It means a great deal to us that you felt your dad was cared for with kindness, dignity and professionalism during his final days. Supporting both our residents and their families at such an important and...
My parents have both been residents at Wood Green Nursing home. My mom's been living in there for just over three years and my dad had a short stay a few months ago due to being on end of life. I can't fault the amazing care they provide not only to my parents but all residents. All staff are so compassionate, caring and supportive. They have a good knowledge of my mom's dementia and understand her individual needs. While my dad was on end of life the care was second to none. Constantly checking in on him to ensuring all his needs were met and supporting me through this difficult time. I would not have got through this difficult time without the support from the amazing staff. I will never be able to thank them enough. Wood Green Nursing home is not just a care home it's a real home to all the residents and their families. Thank you so much for everything you do.
Thank you Diane for your very kind words. I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the tem here at Woodgreen. I would also like to express how priveleged we have felt to look after your father during his short time with us and he continued honour of looking after your mother.
The care staff are very helpful and pleasant with my mom and she feels quite comfortable with the care staff and she is well cared for .she can get nervous and anxious about small things but they help her to get about and talk with other residents and they have taken her out of the home and she feels more relaxed and comfortable and her medication is taken care of so I feel safe knowing she is been taken care of and her needs are being taken care of she is very much aware of her surroundings
Thank you for your review. I will ensure that your kind words are passed onto the staff.
I would like to thank all the staff at this nursing home, for looking after my dad, for the care and attention he received in his final weeks in the home, he was happy there, the home was very clean and welcoming and the staff were helpful and caring. I'll give this home a 5 star rating.
Thank you for your kind review, I will ensure the staff are made aware of your kind comments.
The home also meets the needs of my family. There are no restrictions to visiting (apart from being sensible) which means I can always visit when it suits me. This is something I really appreciate. The space and environment is calm, I love the pub! My son who has autism wants to visit where he has found this difficult previously. He is able to engage with mom and they enjoy spending time with each other. The manager and his team are approachable and make you feel that you are the only one that matters. I have peace of mind and love that when I come, all I have to do is spend quality time with mom. Fabulous!
Thank you so much for your kind review. I will certainly pass on your feedback to all the staff here at Woodgreen Nursing Home.
It has taken me a while to write this review because words seem quite small in comparison to the fantastic care, compassion, love and friendship that is given in this wonderful home by the Woodgreen Team. I say team because they are, every staff member goes the extra mile. They know what is needed and it's done before you realise it. Mum made Woodgreen her home in 2018 when dementia took hold and she was no longer safe in her own home, until she passed away in January. The wonderful team became her extended family full of care, compassion, understanding and love. When mum became confined to bed she was never left out, if she couldn't get to the activity, it came to her. I don't live locally and the trust I had in the Manager and his team was endless. When mum's time came to say goodbye the same care, compassion and love was shown to us. I can say hand on heart and from experience that if you choose Woodgreen as a home for your loved one or friend you really can't go wrong.
Thank you so much for sharing your heartfelt review. Your words truly capture the dedication and compassion of the staff here at Woodgreen Nursing Home, and it's wonderful to hear how you considered us as an extended family for both you and your mum. The personalised attention and understanding...
My stepmom was only a resident for 2 weeks before she passed away on 16/4/25. I so wish she could have been in this lovely care home for much longer or could have agreed to go in there earlier to enjoy her final years. I cannot fault anything; every member of staff went above and beyond. Everything I asked for was given without delay. My stepmom was very well cared for with respect and dignity before and after she passed. It's so nice to see that this home has everything.
Thank you for your kind response. On behalf of the team at Woodgreen Nursing Home and I, please accept our condolences for your loss. I will ensure that the team is aware of your review.
The staff are very attentive and friendly, has I've been in health care myself I have seen how well run the home is.
Would recommend this home if you have a loved one that needs full time care.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and for your kind words. I will ensure that all the staff receive your comments.
My nephew has recently spent a few months at Woodgreen Nursing Home following a short spell in hospital. The love and care which has been shown to him, by the manager and staff, has been outstanding, for which we are very grateful.
Thank you for your kind comments, we were sad to see your nephew move on to another care home but would like to wish him all the very best for the future.
Woodgreen Nursing Home has been excellent in every way for our mom's care. The management has gone above and beyond to make our mom's passing, peaceful and comfortable. The nurses and carers are 'the best' they have loved and cared for our mom as we would. Mom was always clean, fed, washed, showered and more. Mom was always being entertained and sat in front of the TV, and the windows as we asked. I cannot express how grateful we are for all their help and support during Mom's passing.
Thank you for your kind review Diane. We appreciate that this is a difficult time for you all and would again like to express our condolences to you all at this time. You all will always be part of the Woodgreen Family, keep in touch. Kind regards to all.
My mom has been at Woodgreen for 6 years with dementia. The care at Woodgreen Nursing Home is excellent from management, carers, nurses, kitchen staff and domestic, they have respected my mom throughout these 6 years especially these last two weeks, as a big family there was no problem of us staying there with our mom made us feel so comfortable, fed us which was fantastic. Again, would like to say a big thank you to the manager and his team for everything.
Thank you for your kind review at what I appreciate has been a difficult time for you and all your family. Our considerations are with you at this difficult time and I would like to express my thoughts to you all from both myself and all the team here at WGNH. You have all become part of our family and your mother had a massive impact on the home. We will always be here for you all.
My son spent the last 6 months of his life at Woodgreen. I can honestly say Woodgreen home as got to be one of the best out there. Every single member of staff is remarkable and the manager, always there for everybody. The love and dignity for my son was 1000%. All residents are very well looked after, highly recommend Woodgreen. I will always have a part of my heart connected to Woodgreen, once again I can't thank you all enough. Thank you.
Thank you for this kind review at what we appreciate must be an extremely difficult time for you. Please remember we are always here to assist you in the future, feel free to come and see us whenever you feel like it. Thinking of you at this time.
My nephew was a service user here a number of times, unfortunately, he passed away on 5th June. In the time he was there, he was treated with the utmost dignity and respect, care and attention. Every single member of staff became like family members and we cannot praise them enough. If I could give a hundred stars I would. Thank you Woodgreen.
Thank you for your very kind review at such a difficult time, I will certainly pass on your remarks to all the staff team here at the home. If you need anything do not hesitate to keep in touch. My thoughts are with you all at this time.
Woodgreen Nursing is a super top home It is extremely clean, the staff are excellent kitchen staff cleaners H.C.A staff and nursing staff, especially the manager who was fully part of the team when it came to hands-on. Another couple of staff members were marvellous too, nothing in this home was too much, they were polite, courteous and maintained privacy and dignity at all times. They were very quick to answer call bells and were proactive. If I could reward a home for how they made my sister feel and us as a family during our traumatic time it would be this place. I watched them attend to our family member with great care and respect. Kitchen staff could not do enough to make us welcome and cared for, excellent. I cannot praise them all enough but outstanding care respect and dignity. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for your kind comments at this very difficult time, I will pass on your remarks to the rest of the team here at Woodgreen Nursing Home.
I would not hesitate to recommend Woodgreen Nursing Home to anyone. My dad spent the last five weeks of his life there and was treated with outstanding care and compassion. The staff are absolutely fantastic and I will forever be in their debt. They really did go above and beyond caring for my dad and ensuring that he was comfortable.
Thank you Lee for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated. I will pass your comments on to the rest of the staff here at Woodgreen Nursing Home. We hope you and your family are well and continue to extend our condolences.
I wanted to say how pleased I am with how my mom is being looked after, and for ensuring that my mom's human rights and the best interests of Mom is always at the core of the care Mom receives. The staff are lovely and always listen to what mom wants. Mom loves it when staff spend time chatting, joining in singing and laughing with her. I would recommend to family and friends, and feel comfort that my mom is in safe hands. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind comments. I will ensure that these are passed on to the team here at Woodgreen Nursing Home.
