My Mother stayed at Woodgreen Nursing Home from December-February 2019 (7 weeks) after a fall and breaking her leg. As she is 91 she was unable to manage at home whilst in a plaster cast. The treatment (care) she received was excellent - the staff were all wonderfully attentive and caring and my Mam
is all ready to be a resident when the time comes. Food was beautifully cooked and lovely presentation. No faults at all. Thank everyone.

This home has so much love and care to give. I have commented previously but need to say even though my mom is stubborn one new recruit is a breath of fresh air.

The home is now our extended family. On behalf of my mom with terminal cancer and my father (not enough text for his issues) and me, I cannot thank the manager and her team enough.

My dad was transferred to Woodgreen from hospital for end of life care. At first I was a bit apprehensive as the CQC report said it needed improvement however how wrong are they. From the moment my dad arrived he was cared for with the utmost dignity, washed, shaved, fed and turned to alleviate pressure
sores regularly. All staff treated him like a human being, not just a person needing care. When my dad took a turn for the worse, I was informed straight away and everything that they were going to do was explained to me. Unfortunately he passed away but I had great comfort in knowing that although I was not there, the carer's stayed with him so he was not alone. I can't thank everyone enough for their kindness. I just wished he could have had longer there. Any one thinking of sending a loved one here PLEASE PLEASE read this review you will not be disappointed with the care.

Mom was admitted in February for end of life care. My first impression was no way. (Front door to be replaced, reviews etc - the Manager reassured us on these points) But that was so wrong and was more down to we never thought things would come to this. We couldn't have asked for a better place for
mom to see out her final days. She was kept comfortable, clean her pain was managed and if there was anything she wanted or needed staff did their best to make sure she got it.
After the experience elsewhere it was reassuring to have staff who talked to each other and who knew the people in their care. We can't thank them enough for the care she received in her short time at Woodgreen.

Both of my Grandparents were admitted to Wood Green for end of life care in July 2015. As a family we were very nervous about leaving them solely in someone else's care and were apprehensive when we arrived at the home after reading the cqc report saying it required improvement. From the moment we walked
in the staff were very attentive and friendly putting us at ease immediately, the genuine down to earth environment of the home and its staff gives a lovely home from home atmosphere, they were treated with the utmost respect and dignity at all times and the staff tried so hard to encourage them when they weren't in the mood and they were kept so clean. My Grandparents were very happy at the home and our only regret is that they only spent a short time here, but during that time the home made sure that the end to their lives was comfortable and peaceful, nothing was too much trouble and we will be forever grateful .
