Richmond Hall

My dad has been residing at Richmond Hall for 3 years now. I am so happy with how they treat my dad with love, respect and courteousness, I wouldn't wish him to be anywhere else. The staff are truly amazing.

My sister has needed nursing care for the 7 years she spent in Richmond Hall. I am so thankful I found it for her all those years ago. She was treated with love and care throughout. I was kept informed of her health issues when necessary and the staff were kind and helpful to us and others whenever we visited. We will miss them all. Many have been working there for years, a tribute to their working environment and management. The staff appeared well supported by their local GP. The accommodation was pleasant, spacious and always clean.

I knew I could leave him after visits, in their care, knowing that they had his best interest and welfare at heart. They were very friendly and caring towards me and all of the family and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know. I will miss them all.

I have got say that the care my aunty received by the dedicated staff at Richmond Hall was exceptional and I can’t fault anything they did for her. I would like to give them a glowing reference and would recommend them to anyone looking for a place to look after a loved one.

I would like to thank the dedicated staff and management at Richmond Hall for the way they cared for my husband’s aunt. They were compassionate, helpful and patient all through her stay there, and looked after us right to the end. Thank you.

When you walked in all the staff said hello and had a lovely smile. A lovely welcome and all were wonderful to my husband until he passed away. Thanks to you all.

A big thank you to all staff at Richmond Hall, my brother has only been a resident here for a few months, we have found all staff welcoming, hard-working and inclusive. My brother has excellent care, he is happy constantly, responds well to all staff as he feels safe and knows his needs will always be met.

My dad has been a resident at Richmond Hall Care Home since March 2020, firstly on residential care and then on full-time nursing care. Throughout his stay, staff across all roles have been wonderful. They have become part of the family and the expertise among the nursing and senior care staff is excellent. They were there when Dad passed away and nothing was too much trouble; we were all treated with respect and consideration and I will never forget the personal support I received at that difficult time.

A care home which gives true meaning to the word 'care'. At all levels, the management and staff are committed to the wellbeing of their residents. Nothing is too much trouble and I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Richmond Hall to others in need of high quality care.

The staff were extremely caring and helpful. They were able to sort out mums medical issues very efficiently and professionally. Mum was happy with her care despite difficult restrictions in place due to Covid which meant she was only allowed one designated visitor and activities were restricted and she was sad to leave

My mum moved into Richmond Hall as a temporary measure in January 2020 due to health issues. She was soon so happy there that she decided to stay permanently. She is always happy and relaxed when I see her and for the first time in years, I am completely confident that she is safe and cared for. She says that all the staff treat her as a person. During the pandemic, things have not been easy but staff have done everything they can to make residents' lives as good as possible. We enjoyed regular video calls when we were not able to visit and the management has kept us regularly updated. I never thought I would let my mum live in a care home but it has given her a new lease of life, where she no longer has to struggle. I am constantly grateful for the excellent care she receives.

My mother has been a resident at Richmond Hall for two years. I cannot speak highly enough about this home. My mother is extremely well cared for and content. All of the staff are friendly, caring and respectful. I know from experience that they go above and beyond what is expected of them. Communication from the home is excellent. Going into Richmond Hall is going into a happy environment and to quote my mother - ‘I couldn’t be anywhere better.'

This Care Home is a wonderful find for my mom. The care is excellent and the staff treats all residents with family love and care, kindness, and respect which is shown by all of the staff. The home feels happy, clean and well run. Mom came into the home non-responsive, a curled-up human who we thought was at the end of her life. Twelve months on she is awake, aware and looking very healthy which I know is down to the care and attitude of this wonderful, brilliant care home and all the lovely staff who work there.
