Karen has managed Richmond Hall since it opened in 2008 and is passionate about the care for the elderly. This is one of two services Karen manages. Karen's dedication is unmatched as a home manager, she takes on the role of a person of support, guidance and counselling for her staff; nothing is ever too much to ask.
As a qualified nurse, Karen recognises the importance of quality nursing care and works to maintain high standards within the home. Care of the Elderly has been Karen's focus since the beginning of her carer and has worked with older people for over 30 years.
Personally, Karen has a love of horses and her new Bulldog. She has three children and two grandchildren. Karen is proud that one of her daughters has followed in her footsteps and is now a qualified Mental health Nurse.
Sasha is the unit manager of Strawberry Fields dementia unit located on the first floor of the home. Sasha has been a qualified nurse for over a year now and has previously worked in a senior career before returning to her new role after completing her studies.
The unit manager has responsibilities to overview all care for residents living at the home on this unit. This includes their physical and mental health/wellbeing. Medication, GP reviews, general observations, wound care and mental health reviews. Each individual is treated using a person-centred approach to meet all their holistic needs whilst staying at Richmond Hall either permanently, respite or most recently D2A placements.

Linda has been working at the home for several years where she began a career in the previous ICT Unit and was promoted to Care co-ordinator. The ICT Unit had stopped and Linda was promoted to the role of Support Manager she works between both floors dementia and general.
Linda has built good working relationships with other professionals and liaises brilliantly with other families. She is a Train the trainer in moving and handling, she, therefore, trains all staff who work at Richmond Hall to ensure safe and effective moving and handling skills are practised and maintained. Linda is a link worker for infection control with our local hospital Walsall Manor. Part of her role is to assist management to interview new staff, provide training, give care standards packages for new beginners who have no qualifications in care, completing audits.
Linda is a very keen karaoke singer and can often be found singing and entertaining our residents. She also took time during 'lockdown' due to covid restrictions to broaden her abilities and step up as the hairdresser at the home, Linda loves to make others happy and laugh.
Ros is the unit manager for the general unit located on the ground and lower ground floor. Ros worked in the home in 2008 as a nurse caring for the elderly. She had previously completed her district training also and worked in the community for some time.

Ros loves her holidays away, especially in the countryside where it is quiet. She also likes karaoke her favourite song being dancing queen.
