The manager and the team were brilliant in looking after my mom for the last 3 months of her life. They couldn't have done more for her. My dad and I were extremely happy with the level of care provided and how this was made personal. Nothing was too much trouble, especially in these COVID related times and I would be happy to recommend Richmond Hall as a safe, caring environment to anyone thinking of housing their parents/wives/husbands at this home.

Thank you for your kind review of our home and the care we provide. It was our pleasure to look after your Mom, and we would like to thank you for your understanding during the awful times we find ourselves in with this virus. I hope you and your Dad are well and looking after each other. Take care.

I found the staff to be caring and compassionate to my mother. I believe they made her last few weeks as comfortable as they could. They were also very supportive of us as a family.

An amazing, caring, loving home full of wonderful staff who treat the residents with dignity and love. They also care deeply about the families and do all they can to reassure and inform you. My mother was cared for so lovingly the staff became my extended family. I can honestly say if your mum or dad or any family member needs care either nursing or dementia this is the place to go to. My father-in-law has been a very happy resident of Richmond Hall. In the past week, he has needed end of life care and he has been treated with love, respect, dignity and the utmost care.
As his relatives, we have been given compassion, support and care.
The staff are a marvellous team and I cannot recommend them more highly.

I have only praise, thanks and respect for them all.

I've been living here at Richmond Hall for approximately two and a half years in a lovely room overlooking the gardens and fish pond.
I never thought that in my nineties I would have the opportunity to make new friends in a beautiful stately home, surrounded by helpful staff who cater to my needs.
We have a fantastic entertainment manager who organises pampering days, movie afternoons, crossword puzzles, singers and musicians.
My favourite is playing bingo and going to our hairdresser who comes once a week.

The kitchen staff are also very friendly and come to us daily with the next day's menu choice.

Reply from Karen Beale, Home Manager at Richmond Hall

Violet, It is an absolute pleasure to have you living at Richmond Hall. Your cheerful smile brightens our day. We all enjoy the activities too, although my favourite is when the staff dress up for 'themed days'. Thank you for your kind review.

The staff at Richmond Hall are wonderful with my father, they talk, joke and give cuddles to him. He enjoyed the firework display and the hot dogs on Bonfire night. He said it reminded him of when he used to take us as kids. The staff even asked if they could take him and a couple other residents to the local pub for a meal and a drink. My father was so excited about going, as it has been a long time since he has been to a pub. They had a great time. My dad is in such a great place, mentally and physically, compared to where he was before. My father loves it here in his words "I wish I came here earlier".
