My father was admitted here after a long hospital stay. The anxiety we had in knowing he needed 24 hr care was huge. The home is clean and welcoming and the decor is so beautiful.
The staff on Buttercup Unit, we owe enormous gratitude for the love, time and care they took of our dad. He was out of bed every day, participating in activities in the day rooms, meals were lovely and nutritious and they generally care about their residents. Nothing was too much trouble and our dad loved every one of them. The management and nurses were exceptional, always acknowledging residents with a smile and a laugh which I think goes a long way.
We got to know several residents during our dads 7-month stay, and it was always a pleasure to visit daily to have a chat as we walked through the corridors as bedroom doors are open which I think is lovely and does a lot for residents' well-being.
Overall, you wouldn't find any better than Atholl House. Thank you all.
