Staff are helpful and friendly, whatever their role. They clearly genuinely care for my mum.

My Brother has been in the home for over 3 months having had several strokes and other heart complications it was really important to choose a nursing home with a medical centre attached. He was put into Atholl House for assessment from the hospital and we never wanted him to move to anywhere else.
The senior management, the staff, nurses and support team have been great and so caring. They listen to your concerns especially as he has just moved in from his own home to hospital to the nursing home and is naturally disorientated and are so understanding and always take action whether from a medical side or a care side. Whilst he is bedbound they ensure that he has his religious hyms on being Sikh and his Bollywood films and because there are some south Asian nursing staff on his wing they have a good chat with him in punjabi and that lifts his spirits. Atholl House is a great second home for him. A special thanks to the manager and another particular member of staff although everyone is great.

Since my arrival at Atholl House Nursing Home, I have been treated with love, care and dignity which makes my stay happy and have regarded this as my second home. The staff are all helpful and wonderful, as I am treated to a five-star service at all times. I could not wish for better and would not wish

When we ask for help we get it. Staff are very friendly and answer any questions. If they don't know they find out. My uncle seems happy.

The scuffed and damaged walls. The main item of furniture looks like it’s been brought in after being found on the street where it has been for a week or two. Pee bottles being left in the room from the previous occupant. The poor state of the fixtures and fittings or the lack thereof. The fact mum
has never been wearing her glasses when we visit. The fact that the juice jug and sipping cup are never within reach. When I last went there, there was not even an over-bed trolley table in the room. Dinners that are supposed to be hot or warm at least being at best lukewarm or even cold. Mum's personal belongings going missing. And the unexplained cuts and bruises on mum's arms and head.

Our ward decor has been crafted with a lively reminiscence theme to aid memory stimulation. The corridor imitates a village high-street; it even features a post office, grocery store and more. We're also excited to announce our soon-to-be opened 'Zen Room', aiming to feel just like home.
Please understand, we limit unnecessary fittings in the ward where your mother resides, whilst ensuring safety with code-operated doors, a necessity considering the potential confusion experienced by our residents. Our dependable team across all domains strives to deliver top-notch service to our residents.
Finally, our open-door policy is literal; the Home Manager's office is right next to reception, encouraging you, or anyone, to drop in with concerns. We're committed to resolving any issues promptly.

My dad became a resident at the home in February 23. He has been treated extremely well. All the staff have got to know him and his likes and dislikes. He is always treated with kindness and compassion. More recently, the staff and manager went out of their way to accommodate my mum as a resident at
the home. She is settling in really well, and I’m hopeful that this will help both my parents.

Mum had a short stay at Atholl House before she sadly passed. Words cannot describe the brilliant care she received during her stay. The staff were kind, caring and loving. Truly made to feel like she was family rather than a patient.
Not only were the staff amazing with Mum, but they also supported
the family. This is everyone at Atholl House - Nurses, Catering Team, Care Assistants, Reception and so forth - You should all be proud of yourselves for what you do day and night with such compassion. It certainly shines that it's more than just a job. The facilities, including the room and bathroom, were a good size and kept clean. Unfortunately, due to Mum's condition, she couldn't take advantage of the activities, but we know she would have participated if she could. The family and I would recommend Atholl House to anyone considering care for themselves or a loved one. Thanks again to all the team.

My mother spent 11 months in your care at Atholl House, sadly she passed away in January 2022. Words cannot be expressed enough about Mom's care and the love, kindness, and care she received. The whole family would like to pass on their thanks to everyone, special thanks go to the nurses and one-to-one
carers involved in my mom's care, you are truly amazing, the level of care was outstanding, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My mother was sent to Atholl House by the hospital for end-of-life care. She was a resident for 2 weeks before passing. I cannot praise the facilities and the staff at Atholl House enough. They were the best, attentive, and caring people you could wish for.

As a family when you have to make the hardest decision ever of accepting your loved one needs 24-hour care and you worry so much as to whether they will be cared for properly and as a person. This was us. Our beautiful Nan was placed at Atholl House and our worries were totally unnecessary. The care
our Nan received was outstanding. All the staff got to know her as the caring person she was and supported us as a family. Sadly we lost Nan, when we arrived following the call to say she was unwell, we arrived and the nurse was holding her hand and stroking her hair. I will never be able to thank you enough as our worst fear was she would be alone. Members of staff in particular (and one who makes the best coffee Nan said) who were brilliant and so many others. Cannot thank you all enough for the fantastic kindness and care you gave our Nan. Thank you, and I know we speak for all of our family.

My mother was well cared for. Being bedridden she was turned regularly, always clean with clean nightwear every day. All staff, from nurses to cleaners were polite, accomodating, and considerate. I cannot comment on activities. If they were available my mother could not participate. I have no experience
of other homes to compare value for money. We were contacted in time to be with her when she died.

I came to Athol House for 2 weeks recuperation after a month in hospital. It was very good and allowed me to recover before going home.
The staff were all extremely helpful and looked after me very well indeed.
