My mother was well cared for. Being bedridden she was turned regularly, always clean with clean nightwear every day. All staff, from nurses to cleaners were polite, accomodating, and considerate. I cannot comment on activities. If they were available my mother could not participate. I have no experience
of other homes to compare value for money. We were contacted in time to be with her when she died.

Very friendly staff, always willing to discuss resident. Plenty of good vegetarian food and plenty of drinks provided. Mum seems very happy and settled here.

Mam has been treated excellently by all staff who always seem to find the time and have a friendly chat between their roles for which they carry out with as much care and patience as possible. Although my mam sometimes finds it difficult to communicate seeing her face light up when staff members come
into her room shows she is as happy and contented as possible.

My mother was a resident at Atholl House Nursing Home between April and July 2021. The staff and facilities at the nursing home were excellent and everyone made a huge effort to bring a smile to my mom's face. I cannot thank everyone enough for the care and support given to myself and my mom during

I came to Athol House for 2 weeks recuperation after a month in hospital. It was very good and allowed me to recover before going home.
The staff were all extremely helpful and looked after me very well indeed.

My father, who had dementia, was resident in the home for 7 months. During that time he was cared for in a caring, compassionate and professional manner. The home and the staff achieved a combination of creating a homely, safe environment, whilst managing the social and nursing needs of my father effectively.
It also felt homely and comfortable for his family. We were totally involved with his care and decisions were always made with us. Dad's needs were always put first by the staff and they went out of their way to ensure he was comfortable and happy. During his final days, the compassion showed to Dad and his family made a difficult time a little bit easier. I would definitely recommend Atholl house.

My mum was only in Atholl House Nursing Home for around 2 weeks but it was a wonderful calm and peaceful place. She was treated extremely well and treated with great dignity. As mum was there for palliative care, she couldn't have better care. As relatives, we were welcomed and staff were always there
to talk and explain everything and comfort. Thank you to everyone there for making mum's last few weeks of life comfortable.

Our mum has been a resident in Atholl House for 16 months after being in a care home. We cannot praise this nursing home enough. All the staff are very attentive to her needs, they are always very joyful and always happy, the kitchen staff always say hello and pass the time of day to mum as they pass
by. The home is always tidy and doesn’t smell. All the staff work very hard and are very pleasant. I would recommend Atholl House nursing home to anyone who is looking for somewhere for their loved one.

My mother was in care for three years and two months at Atholl House, she was always kept clean and tidy, despite being bedridden for this whole period. She was turned regularly, fed, given drinks, changed, everything and even though she would often lash out to the carers and nurses, they understood
it was her dementia, not her. I would not hesitate to recommend Atholl House to anyone looking for such high care standards. If I need to go into care, it would be my 1st requests.
