I visit my Mother in Law in Brockhampton 2 or 3 times a week and have only praise and admiration for the staff that work there. You are always made welcome and invited to participate in the activities for the day. The food smells and tastes so lovely with a continuous change to the menu.

The care of the staff for clients is brilliant, always plenty of staff around. The clients always look well groomed, ie. their hair is done, they have clean clothes.
The clients are always alert and have something to do. The interaction with staff is lovely, always by name.
The matron is a super lady,
very kind and caring and also looks after her staff.
They are always pleased to see her. Since my son has been with them, he is cheerful and likes being there.

The team at Brockhampton are just wonderful, I have seen them provide kind and generous care to my grandfather in law and they have always given my husband, son and I the warmest of welcomes and our dog too occasionally.

Who wouldn't want their loved ones looked after in here. It is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. All staff are very professional, kind and most caring. My husband could not be in better hands. Everyone should be entitled to this level of care. The home and staff are amazing, always smiling and
cheerful. It's like one big happy family!

After just one visit to Brockhampton Court, we knew as a family that it was the right place for Mum.
She arrived from hospital four days later.
Everyone has been so very kind and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. It feels like one big happy family. The building and its surroundings are stunning,
the standard of care is superb. There is always something going on to entertain the residents.
My Mum has settled in quickly. We wanted to care for her as a family. This was not to be. We did our best, we found the best home - Brockhamption!

Matron came in on a Sunday to meet us and show us around. We were all very happy and knew this is where we wanted our Grandma to be.
She left the hospital on the Thursday to come here.
We are all very happy and can see our Grandma is being well cared for.
The staff are all very friendly and welcoming.
Our
Grandma is always clean and looks happy.

My wife left hospital after suffering a severe stroke, requiring 24 hour nursing and 'PEG' feeding.
Her subsequent treatment at Brockhampton Court was excellent in everyway.

I couldn't have better care, treated with dignity and respect. The carers and staff are very kind and caring. I do lots of enjoyable activities which are fun and interesting. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and the food is delicious. The matron and the management team are first class.

When I visit about every three weeks, the staff are always welcoming. My friend is always clean and cared for in a way that suits her individual needs. She considers it a home from home. Her room is clean and fresh with some of her own furniture in which makes such a difference to her attitude about
needing care. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff to do or find out about. She enjoys the home cooked food and the choice available. All in all a good place to be if you can't stay at home.

Staff are really good and make every effort to keep mum comfortable. They could turn the TV on at times to give mum something to focus on. Food is very good, although mums diet is different to most being Muslim. Would definitely recommend the home although most would not be able to afford it. Currently,
£1000 a week. Overall an excellent home.

A very good nursing home. Look after mum very well. Everything is excellent which it should be for £1000 a week. Would definitely recommend but not sure everyone could afford it. Still these days you have to pay to get the best services.

From the first visit, we have been made to feel at home. The staff from the matron down have always been friendly, polite, happy, approachable and most importantly concerned and caring about the residents. They have always had time to listen and carry out any requests as soon as they can. People who
have visited our son have said they would want to live at Brockhampton Court if they had to go into care. The residents are made to feel that it is their home.

Current Review Score: 7.1 (7.130)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 7.1 (7.130) out of 10 for Brockhampton Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.3 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 3.792 for Brockhampton Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (18 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (6 Poors x 2) + (4 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 48 Ratings = 3.792
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.338 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Brockhampton Court Care Home is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 = 3.125
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 47 registered maximum number of service users is 9.4. 2 Positive Reviews ÷ 9.4 = 0.213
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
