Mum could not be in better hands mum is looked after very well. Mum has settled in now and gets on with all the staff. Mum would recommend the food at it is very good. Mum joins in with the activities likes her nails and hair done.
Always friendly, warm and comfortable. Staff are very welcoming, food looks excellent. I'm always given a cup of tea.
Staff are really good and make every effort to keep mum comfortable. They could turn the TV on at times to give mum something to focus on. Food is very good, although mums diet is different to most being Muslim. Would definitely recommend the home although most would not be able to afford it. Currently, £1000 a week. Overall an excellent home.
A very good nursing home. Look after mum very well. Everything is excellent which it should be for £1000 a week. Would definitely recommend but not sure everyone could afford it. Still these days you have to pay to get the best services.
An excellent nursing care home, good facilities and activities only gripe is it's expensive and so should be top rate.
Dear Mr D, we entirely agree with you and at Brockhampton, we are striving to ensure we provide the very best for our residents. We have two full-time employees whose raison d'etre is to ensure our rooms are lovely places for our residents. We have put in place a continuous programme of room...
From the first visit, we have been made to feel at home. The staff from the matron down have always been friendly, polite, happy, approachable and most importantly concerned and caring about the residents. They have always had time to listen and carry out any requests as soon as they can. People who have visited our son have said they would want to live at Brockhampton Court if they had to go into care. The residents are made to feel that it is their home.
Thank you for your kind words, we are delighted to hear you feel so positively about our caring and friendly staff, something we pride ourselves on.
The care/nursing home is a splendid and elegant building in the countryside. You feel your relative (friend) is sharing a home-life, where all the staff are family, and no one person is any more important than the other. The care is exceptional in every area; I cannot commend the nursing and general support highly enough and there is always fun and laughter to be heard which is key to well-being.
Thank you for taking the time to review Brockhampton Court and for singing the praises of our staff. I notice you mention our review as excellent across the board, with food being the only exception and being rated as 'Good'. In response to recent reviews of our food, we have hired a completely new...
I find Brockhampton Court to be a very friendly nursing/care home. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. My son is terminally ill and needs a lot of care and attention, which is done very well. Every member of staff is very courteous and always makes me feel very welcome and do all they can to keep me informed about my son's well-being.
Without exception, the staff members at Brockhampton treated my parents as individuals, catering thoughtfully for all their health and wellbeing needs, providing opportunities for engagement in activities of interest to each of them. They enabled my 90-year-old parents to stay together at a time when my father required continuing health care and my mother was in need of some respite. Family members, including grandchildren and great children, were always welcomed whenever they could visit. Staff were always prepared to listen and help in any way they could.
My late mother was a resident of Brockhampton for over 6 years until her death in her 93rd year, during which time she received the very best of care despite being wheelchair bound. The staff are not only well trained and efficient but fun, warm and caring to residents and supportive to relatives. The building and grounds are quite superb and the rooms are large and beautifully decorated. There are lots of activities to keep residents engaged and entertained and relatives are also encouraged to join in if they can. I have experience of a number of nursing homes and feel confident in saying this independently run home is one the very best.
The staff are very caring and observe the resident's/patient's wishes. The nursing staff are very competent. All the support staff are friendly and make visitors feel welcome. The setting is beautiful and everything is well kept and maintained. Cleanliness and food quality are excellent.
The staff are very good in every way, they go the extra mile to create a warm, friendly, family atmosphere for all the residents. The matron runs a tight ship and is extremely professional in every way, a very rare commodity in this day and age. There are always activities and entertainment laid on promoting a secure, safe and happy environment.
Thank you for taking the time to review Brockhampton Court and for saying such lovely things about our fantastic staff and the caring and happy ambience. I notice you mention our review as excellent across the board, with food being the only exception and being rated as 'Good'. In response to...
My sister has lived at Brockhampton Court Care Home for many years. She is happy, contented and very well cared for. The staff are exceptional and the atmosphere is always one fo fun and laughter. Food has always been excellent and all special occasions are celebrated with appropriateness. If you have a relative in need of care then without a doubt this is a home to consider. It is situated in glorious countryside and visiting is a total pleasure.
A lovely welcome and atmosphere when you walk in.
All staff had any amount of time to communicate. Would I recommend? Yes!
Dear Heather, thank you for your lovely review. Achieving the highest standards in care is paramount to our friendly team at Brockhampton. Although we are not aware of any particular incident involving a slower response time to your mother, we do always have on duty an appropriate number of nurses...
The home seems to be extremely well run. Matron has been there for years and she and her team seem very efficient. The owner of the home is also often present keeping an eye on things. My father is very happy at Brockhampton and feels very lucky to be there. We as a family also feel that he is lucky to be there and we are very grateful he is so happy there.
My father was at 'Brockhampton Court Care Home' for nine months. I was welcomed by management and staff from the first day I arrived to the last day I left. The staff were friendly and all residents were well cared for. It just seemed like they were all part of one big family. There were many activities residents could take part in throughout the year and there was a lovely atmosphere. You could not wish for a better place of care for any relative or friend and I would highly recommend this home.
On enering Brockhampton Court one has the immediate feeling of happiness, helpfulness, honesty and security. Standard of care and cleanliness quite remarkable. Staff always ready to help,k pleasing and polite. Programme of events and activities - stimulating and outstanding. Grounds - very beautiful. Patients are encouraged to use with the help of staff, family and friends. This of course is all down to the matron and senior staff. Three A* to everyone!
My mother has been resident for 21 months following a major stroke. She requires full nursing care. The staff have shown my mother an extremely high level of care and interact with her on a personal level. Cleanliness is excellent. Food is very good.
My father spent nearly 12 months in the care home, before he passed away, I can honestly say he was cared for in physical and emotional care and I think had enjoyed his last twelve months, very happy and contented. He never grumbled about anything but us three daughters were there to ensure he had the care he deserved after a life which was a struggle sometimes but it was a happy one for us three. We look upon his time in care as happy and his compassion and being treated with respect and dignity at his final hours were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursing care home to anyone. Also a lovely area and views from his bedroom were amazing.
Brockhampton Court is as close to being at home as anywhere could be. Resident care is top quality. Caring, professional staff with always time for a chat, a laugh, a cuddle. The staff are always supportive of residents family and on hand to answer any questions. Food and drink are delicious and visitors can also eat there at a small charge. Tea, coffee and biscuits are always provided. The rooms are comfortable, clean with pretty furnishing and can be personalised with photos etc from home. Plus pets are allowed in. Great place.
