We made the right choice after my father was in a previous care home, which could not cope with him; we found Waterside, thank goodness. We should of bought him here first. Lovely staff, so patient and genuinly very compassionate and caring. Never seen anyone lose patience with the residents. Kept clean and tidy all areas and personal bedrooms.

My husband was cared for from 20 July 2023 to 4 July 2024 when he died. I cannot praise the staff enough; they were all, without exception, gentle, kind, considerate and so very caring towards him. Staff members kept us informed of any GP or hospital visits he required and of changes in dietary regimes. The communication via staff from the home was excellent and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who may be considering placing a loved one into residential care.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and sharing your experience. We are glad you were happy with the communication and care at Waterside. Your husband was a beautiful person with the most amazing singing voice that could melt hearts he is truly missed by all the staff at Waterside.
Husband only been at Waterside for four weeks. However, he seems more contented and isn't asking constantly to come home. Staff very kind and attentive.
Thank-you for your kind words, we strive to always deliver a five star care experience to service users and their families and we are very pleased that you are satisfied so far.
My husband moved into Waterside Care Home in January 2024. He had been in another care home for four and a half years but his dementia had worsened to the stage where they could no longer look after him. Waterside has proved to be an excellent choice for him. The staff are caring and attentive and he is always well-presented whenever I visit. He settled down very quickly, is always calm, and enjoys the food that is provided. The staff are very considerate towards me and keep me informed about everything that I need to know. I am very grateful to all of them and can highly recommend Waterside.
Thank you for your kind words, it's been an absolute pleasure getting to know your husband. We strive to provide an outstanding quality of care and improve our service user's experience wherever possible and we appreciate the time you've taken to acknowledge your experience so far.
My father, now 91, has been a resident for many years and I believe he is as realistically comfortable and well cared for as he could be. He keeps going so he must be content and comfortable. The attention and care that I witness is professional, courteous and is well-communicated. I am immensely grateful for all you do.
Hi. Thank you for your lovely comments, Your kind words are appreciated, we hope to continue to provide you and your family the reassurance that Dad is as comfortable as possible whilst living at Waterside.
My husband of 63 years marriage has been in Waterside for 2 years. He is in the last stages of dementia, but the staff are very caring and lovely. He is always clean and tidy after I visit him each week.
Thank you for your comments. We are happy you are satisfied with the care your husband receives. We hope to continue to provide the best care experience for you and your family. All our love to you, Waterside staff.
When my mother was first admitted she was very distressed and agitated. Within a matter of days she had calmed down due to the love, care and attention she received. Both the care staff and the office staff were very helpful and supportive to us, answering our queries, particularly when she passed away. We cannot recommend highly enough the care and support provided by Waterside. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the lovely comments. It was a pleasure to care for your mother who will be missed dearly by all the staff. We wish you all the best for the future. Kind Regards, Waterside staff
The staff were compassionate, caring, kind, and sensitive and went out of their way to make us comfortable. (It can't of been easy as we're a big family). It wasn't just the care staff either, it was the chef, the lady who does activities, the laundry people with kind words, the handyman, the cleaners, the admin staff. All were so kind and it touched our hearts massively. We'll be in soon to see you all.
Keep up the hard work guys, real-life angels who make a huge difference.
Grandad thought the world of you.
Thank you so much for your feedback. Waterside staff are dedicated to achieving high standards of care. Its been an absolute pleasure knowing your granddad and getting to know you all too. We wish you all the best for the future.
My wife is cared for so well. It's so reassuring when you leave after visiting (peace of mind).
Thank you for your review, it's an absolute pleasure to care for and spend time with your lovely wife.
My husband moved here in September 2023 from another home and since being here, the staff have done more for him here than anywhere else. As a result, he seems very settled, far less agitated and at times more willing to take part in social activities. The care and attention that all staff have given him and others in my eyes outstanding and they have been so supportive to me during what was a stressful time of having to make the move here. Staff always keep me up to date with his care and already I have attended seasonal events so that I can feel a part of the Waterside family.
Thank you for your kind words, it's lovely to know that you are happy with the care and service we provide for your husband.
