Mum has now been a resident for over 5 years, over this time her dementia has got worse but the staff are so considerate and caring. I feel able to talk to anyone about any aspect of her care. Its lovely to walk in to this bright and light place to be greeted with smiles and friendliness. The food is excellant, fresh and tasty! Brindley Manor is always spotlessly clean at all times.

Im more than happy with the care and support they give

This is by far the best nursing home ever visited in Worcestershire, we have had family experience of 8 others. Exceptional staff, all very approachable, including management. Nothing too much trouble. Our dad is well monitored and kept immaculately clean & tidy. Beautiful rooms, location & gardens.

Amazing care.

After a nightmare experience at a different home. I thankfully got mum in Brindley Manor. It is a breath of fresh air literally! Mum is so well looked after and kept clean and tidy. All staff are so friendly and very attentive. The place is kept clean and the rooms are very comfortable. I know mum will enjoy her days here as they make sure lots of activities for them to join. And mum says that the food is amazing! The management team is so friendly and always available to help and listen. Thank you all at Brindley Manor!

First impressions count. The manager was open to an inspection tour without appointment, and the immediate impression was of the dementia unit being extremely clean and fresh. This home is simply but comfortably furnished and does not seem to waste money on unnecessary luxuries which residents would not recognise or value.
Carers and nursing staff are always positive and cheerful in outlook. The on-site hair salon does a good job at reasonable price.
Ambulatory residents are allowed to move around the secure area at all times, this provides some interest and comfort in residents' daily routine.
Dietary preferences have been well respected, and the food appears to be of both good quality and quantity.

Minor medical issues have been reported promptly and quickly communicated by telephone, and have been reviewed on the families next visit. Overall communication from management, carers and nursing staff has been excellent.

Dad was only at Brindley Manor for a short time. We moved dad there following an awful experience at his previous home. From the moment dad arrived dads care was exceptional. Every member of staff treated dad with dignity and respect. Sadly dad passed on his 6th day there, the staff made sure dad was comfortable and pain free until the end

I cannot praise EVERYONE enough at Brindley Manor Thank you.

My Grandad recently stayed at Brindley Manor for end of life care and we couldn't have asked for a better place for him to stay. All of the staff were so attentive and friendly and treated my Grandad with so much care and dignity. They always made sure he had what he wanted and needed and made him feel as at home as they could. Every time someone visited, they always offered drinks and made us feel welcome there- no question was a problem. Even at the very tough time, my grandad was cared for and we were supported throughout. What a wonderful, clean and friendly home- I would highly recommend.

Brindley Manor has looked after my mum with a very caring approach since she's been a resident. All caring staff and nursing staff are kind natured and have tendered to my mums needs in a very professional manner. The meals are very good and caters for dietary needs. The management staff are very welcoming and approachable. The cleaning and maintenance is also to a high standard with also very helpful and kind staff. Rooms are well kept with good space and can accommodate personal effects to make residents room more homely. There are plenty of activities too for residents during their stay. In summary I would highly recommend Brindley Manor.

I enjoy my job. I like devising new dishes and menus. I get great satisfaction out of seeing our residents enjoy their food with lots of flavour, texture, etc. and introducing residents to dishes that they may not have tried before.

It's nice being part of a team where we all look out for each other. And can work whilst being able to laugh, which in turn makes Brindley Manor a more relaxed, happy and calm home for the residents.

Meldwyn Mills
Meldwyn MillsJob Title:HandymanJoined: 2016

Mel's official title is "Handyman" but he is in many ways so much more! Mel makes sure the home is safe and is on hand to fix any issues. Residents and family will also interact with him as he loves to help with adding touches to Resident rooms so they become more personal spaces and more like a home away from home. That could be pictured on the walls or fitting a new TV! He is wonderfully cheerful with a lovely sense of humour that the Residents and Staff all appreciate.
