As a family we felt so supported by the staff who cared for Eric with such care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment. We will never be able to thank them enough for all they did for him to make his final resting place a comfortable and pain free environment for us to spend each day with him until he past away peacefully. Minor medical issues have been reported promptly and quickly communicated by telephone, and have been reviewed on the families next visit. Overall communication from management, carers and nursing staff has been excellent.

I enjoy my job. I like devising new dishes and menus. I get great satisfaction out of seeing our residents enjoy their food with lots of flavour, texture, etc. and introducing residents to dishes that they may not have tried before.
It's nice being part of a team where we all look out for each other. And can work whilst being able to laugh, which in turn makes Brindley Manor a more relaxed, happy and calm home for the residents.

Mel's official title is "Handyman" but he is in many ways so much more! Mel makes sure the home is safe and is on hand to fix any issues. Residents and family will also interact with him as he loves to help with adding touches to Resident rooms so they become more personal spaces and more like a home away from home. That could be pictured on the walls or fitting a new TV! He is wonderfully cheerful with a lovely sense of humour that the Residents and Staff all appreciate.
