My name is James I am 44, I have come to Brindley Manor due to my health and mobility. While I have been at the care home I have found everybody to be very friendly and kind while working very professionally, any help or support I have ever needed is never to much trouble. I have had struggles with
my mental health so If i have ever needed a chat someone has always been there, food and drinks is always available.
The carehome is very clean and tidy, I have everything in my room I need and my air bed had really helped with my sleep and mobility.

My mum was a resident here for 2 years. I have nothing but praise for Jenny, Marianna and all the staff who cared for my mum. My mum was happy, safe and so well looked after and I always felt happy with the knowledge that she was here at Brindley. Thank you once again to all the staff.

My mother was a resident at Brindley Manor recently. She was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. All the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The Manor is a beautiful building, very well kept, clean and comfortable. The rooms are large, with en suite facilities. There
are areas for residents and visitors to go and relax or chat privately. You are welcome to bring items from home to decorate the room and make it more personal. The staff were very attentive, even making us (the family) tea and coffee.
Unfortunately my mother passed shortly after moving to Brindley Manor. The staff were extremely efficient in helping us sort everything out, which was very welcome at such an emotional time. Happy to recommend Brindley Manor.

My mum was a resident from November 2023 - March 2026.
The care was exceptional. My Mum became really poorly on 28th February 2026 and the Doctor explained that Mum was nearing the end of her life.
The staff were amazing with Mum keeping her comfortable and pain free.
The staff also supported me
during this very difficult time.
The staff are all angels and I will always remember their kindness and support.

Although it was a short stay before my husband passed away. He received very good care from the team there. Nothing was a problem they took care of both of us in his last few hours I stayed over most nights and felt I got to know them well as a family. Thank you to all the team and I highly recommend
this nursing home.

My mother was transferred to Brindley Manor over three years ago when she was very frail and receiving end of life care. With empathy + compassion the staff nursed her back to a quality of life she has lacked for some time. She made friends among the staff shared their stories and reached a level of
contentment I have barely ever seen. The team have been very kind throughout and I am grateful to them.

My wife has been a resident at Brindley Manor for five weeks receiving palliative care. She had just spent a total of 16 weeks in the hospital beign treated for late stage dementia, infections & delirium. The level of care & kindness shown by all the staff at Brindley Manor is quite exceptional. Nothing
is too much trouble for them & my wife is being kept painfree & comfortable at all times. I would not hesitate recommending this nursing home to anyone looking for the highest level of care.

Mum only spent a few days at Brindley Manor before she passed away, but in that short time the care, compassion, and professionalism of the staff made her final days as comfortable as possible. For us as a family, it was a great comfort to know she was being so well looked after. I'd also like to
mention Megan and the front desk team, who were incredibly kind and could not do enough to help us.

Eric was admitted for 24 hour nursing care in the final two weeks of his life for palliative care to Brindley Manor Nursing Home. As a family we felt so supported by the staff who cared for Eric with such care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment. We will never be able to thank
them enough for all they did for him to make his final resting place a comfortable and pain free environment for us to spend each day with him until he past away peacefully. We would recommend Brindley Manor to anyone who requires this level of nursing care. Thank-you from us all.

I was worried about my Mum moving to nursing care but I really didn't need to be. Mum has settled in really quickly.
The staff are really helpful and understanding. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
I really appreciate that staff take a few moments to have a little chat with my Mum no matter
what their job role is. This cheers Mum up. Feeling connected to people is so important and also means i am not so concerned about her being isolated.
There are various activities on offer for those who wish to participate and they also work hard to cater for people's dietary needs and varying appetites.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.869)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.869) out of 10 for Brindley Manor Nursing Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 55 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 55 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.869 for Brindley Manor Nursing Home is calculated as follows: ( (556 Excellents x 5) + (71 Goods x 4) + (6 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 633 Ratings = 4.869
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Brindley Manor Nursing Home is based on 55 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 49 registered maximum number of service users is 9.8, which has been reached with 55 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

I enjoy my job. I like devising new dishes and menus. I get great satisfaction out of seeing our residents enjoy their food with lots of flavour, texture, etc. and introducing residents to dishes that they may not have tried before.

It's nice being part of a team where we all look out for each other. And can work whilst being able to laugh, which in turn makes Brindley Manor a more relaxed, happy and calm home for the residents.
