We will be forever grateful for all of the love and care my dear brother-in-law had, in his final weeks at Elmhurst. I can never thank Paula enough for her help and support, to enable him to finally have the comfort he needed, after a very upsetting time.
All of the staff are so kind and caring, the home is spotless, and it's managed properly.

First class in every way.

Our first visit to Elmhurst Care Home was in January, and this is when I ticked the boxes, but I decided to see if my first impressions were correct, THEY ARE, and it is now May. Everyone who works here is really kind and helpful. The residents are well looked after, treated with warmth, kindness and respect along with real care.

Their home is spotlessly clean, and the food always looks appetising and smells good. My sister-in-law is very happy in her new home. I cannot comment on the value for money as I don't know the cost, but whatever it is it is worth it.

Many thanks for your very kind words, its pleasing to know your feedback is considered and reflected over months not just a one off experience. All of the team work extremely hard, its wonderful to know this is reflected in our care and the atmosphere, your sister in law has settled in very well and is a pleasure to have with us.

My dear friend has been at Elmhurst for over 2 years. I have never found her unhappy or uncomfortable, as a nurse of over 40 years experience I am impressed with the care she gets - both physically and mentally. The only deterioration I have noticed is natural ageing. When I visit all the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The place is always spotless, bright and homely.

An amazing care home who supported and cared for my mum in the last week of her life. The love they showed for her was unbelievable, and I cannot thank them enough for making her so comfortable. The care home is immaculate and extremely well managed offering a calming space for all who visit, excellent staff, and food, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone .

We were so impressed with the care my dad got at Elmhurst. He was nearing the end of his life and couldn't have been in a better place to end his days. All the staff were compassionate and friendly as well as efficient and knowledgable in their role. All would smile and take time to chat and answer any of our questions. The atmosphere is calm and and respectful and there is a high standard of cleanliness throughout the building. There was often a lovely aroma of baking as we walked near the kitchen and the cake I tasted was delicious!

It was suggested by a professional care manager Elmhurst was the appropriate setting for mum and her dementia. March 2024. Mum arrived in April 2024, to date the experience has been first class. Driven by standards, compassion, empathy to better with practical implementation. That is hard to do - it's the whole team that make it work. So pleased.

I cannot praise this home highly enough. I visit several and this is way above any others in care provided, cleanliness, menu, outside space and friendliness of staff. From what I have observed on weekly visit, (on different days + times), nothing is too much trouble for the hardworking staff. All take the time to stop and say hello when visiting. They take great interest in all their residents. All treated as individuals. Just fabulous!

We have appreciated what everyone at Elmhurst have done for mum and us as her family. We have been so impressed with the high standards you operate with throughout your business. We understand how difficult this task could be when there are so many facets to your service and where it involves a lot of very different types of staff interacting with one another under often challenging conditions. From a visitor's perspective we have always been impressed by how your staff have made our visits comfortable and enjoyable. Well done Team Elmhurst!

I will miss my interactions with all your lovely staff. Thank you for making mum's last months so pleasant for her. We appreciate that she may not have been the easiest person to interact with at times but she carried a lot of burdens, and in the end, she was just exhausted. You dealt with her with patience and dignity and we are very grateful to you. Finally, mum loved her room and the view gave her enormous pleasure.

My father moved in to Elmhurst Care Home at quite short notice; a move made possible by the flexibility and accommodation of the management. Over the course of the last six weeks, the care provided to him has been exemplary. The facilities are excellent: modern, clean and to a high standard. According to my father, this is true of the food too.
However, without doubt, the best aspect of the experience at Elmhurst has been the staff. From the senior management, to the hands-on carers, their approach has been professional, certainly, but, as importantly, they have been warm, interested and genuinely caring.

Whilst my father is still finding the transition difficult, he has nothing but good words for Elmhurst and its staff. I couldn't agree more. We both feel very lucky that he has been able to move here.

My godmother spent the last eighteen months of her life in Elmhurst Care Home. The care they gave her was excellent and all the staff members, without exception, were so efficient and friendly.
They were very attentive to my godmother's needs, and the personal care and cleanliness of everywhere was exceptional.

My godmother was happy there, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elmhurst to anyone.

Elmhurst is a top class care home, I can't fault it. The care my mum was given was second to none. So glad we chose this care home. My mother went to Elmhurst Care Home direction from hospital. She had been in hospital for three months following a number of falls - arm and pelvis broken and head injury and broken nose. When she got to Elmhurst, she was not able to stand or feed herself etc. During her time there, her improvement has been astonishing - she is now well and interacting. The care could not have been better. All staff so brilliant and so kind.

Our father lived at Elmhurst from June 2023 until his death in November 2024. This last part of his life was made so comfortable and enjoyable due to the incredible team at Elmhurst who could not have been more supportive to him. He often said, "I should have moved here years ago" and that sentiment was due to the genuine care and support that the team showed him. He was a sociable man and enjoyed the jokes and comradery at Elmhurst. The range of the daily activities was very impressive. One of the things he often said to us was "They go the extra mile for you here". It was the hundreds of extra things that the team did - arranging a social media call with his great-granddaughter on her birthday, making sure he had his paper, etc - that turned the Home into a home for him.
