The overall experience at the Conifers Nursing Home is absolutely amazing. I cannot fault anything. The office staff are so kind and caring. Also, Nan gets her medication on time and at regular intervals. The nurses will pop in and out of Nan's room during the day to check up on her. If there are any issues whatsoever we, as a family, receive updates via phone call. The care team really do care and look after Nan, they keep her clothes clean and looking her best. The activity lady, I cannot thank her enough for all the support and everything she does for Nan and us as a family. She goes the extra mile. The visiting over Covid has been wonderful and well organised. You've all worked extremely hard during these difficult times, keeping Nan safe. Overall, very pleased with the Conifers.
Hi, what a wonderful review. This means a lot to the staff here and this just shows our hard work pays off. We are privileged to know we have a happy customer.
All nursing staff have shown care and kindness but this nurse specifically I feel needs thanking. There is also another nurse whom I speak to a lot and she also shows the same care and compassion and again understands and knows grandad. Grandad has deteriorated rapidly as we know and having nursing staff who truly care around him is reassuring to me as his granddaughter and a nurse.
Hi, your positive review means a lot to our staff. I will be sure to pass your message on to all the nurses. Thank you.
Overall, I have been satisfied with the care provided to my mother, the staff have all been helpful and professional in my dealings with them. They have kept me informed of her well-being despite Mum having to be hospitalised on two occasions. It has exemplified the care and compassion the staff demonstrate on a daily basis. Overall, Mum is very happy and cheerful and settled at the Conifers Nursing Home.
Thank you. We are happy you are satisfied with the care and quality of the care delivered to your mum. We enjoy looking after your mum along with all the other residents. I will share this message with the rest of the staff.
My mother is extremely happy in the Conifers Nursing Home - since she has been in there she has been very well cared for and looked after and I know they try and accommodate her every wish. She is very fond of the staff and all members of staff are very friendly and easily approachable.
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to learn you are satisfied with the care delivery and this means a lot to us. I will share this with the staff. Thank you once again.
All staff are very caring and professional. My mom has been at Conifers Nursing Home for 18 months, every time we visit she is clean and comfortable. We are always kept informed of what's going on. We are very happy with how they take care of Mom. Thank you all.
Thank you for the lovely feedback, we are happy to know you are satisfied with Conifers Nursing Home. I will share this with the staff.
I found the staff I have talked with all very helpful and caring. They explained all the visiting requirements in a clear and understandable manner which put my mind at rest. They are all a very friendly bunch and I am happy to leave my relative in their care.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. I will share this with the staff.
My auntie has recently been admitted to the Conifers Nursing Home, they have made her feel comfortable by ensuring she is kept warm and she has her own items in the bedroom, making it very personal. Her named nurse and key workers introduced themselves and are willing to help her with all her needs. We discussed the care plan in full and the kitchen has made a real effort to fulfil her fussy dietary likes/dislikes. Everyone is so welcoming. Price for care is competitive and admin staff helped us in sorting FNC.
Thank you for your positive feedback and I will share this with the staff, we are happy you are satisfied with the care of your auntie.
Up until today (3 days), residential care I would highly recommend the Confers Nursing Home. It needs more adequate washing facilities in the room, e.g. stool to sit on by the sink, particularly a light above the sink - inadequate lighting for shaving. The flush facilities on the toilet (macerator not adequate) possible blockage.
Thank you for your feedback which will be shared with the staff. We apologise you were not satisfied with the washing facilities, I can confirm a plumber was called in and can confirm the issue with the toilet has now been resolved.
The care given to my mother-in-law was superb. As a family, we can’t thank the staff enough for showing every day that they actually ‘care'. Everyone was helpful, friendly, professional and polite. Nothing was too much trouble - thank you all.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it's nice to know you were happy with the service. I will share this with the staff.
There seems to be a lack of communication. I don't know what's going on from one week to the next. Inadequate visiting arrangements and no flexibility. Same with WhatsApp.
We understand the frustrations many families have with the government guidelines for visiting and communication with care home residents. However, I do not accept a suggestion of a lack of communication. As a company we have sent several letters and e-mails keeping families and loved ones up to...
In the last two and a half years that my mother has been a resident at the Conifers, the staff have always presented a friendly, welcoming and positive atmosphere. There is good all-round team culture and this has been maintained despite the many changes of staff including management, carers and nurses. The Conifers have been very positive during the current covid-19 situation, setting up systems to enable family and friends to maintain contact with residents during this difficult period where visits have not been possible. The home was locked down two weeks prior to the government and maintained a virus-free establishment.
My mother in law has been a resident of the Conifers Nursing Home for 3 1/2 years, and I feel that she has been in very good hands. The friendliness and caring nature of the staff is very evident, and whilst operations might not be considered perfect, they are reaching a very acceptable level, and any improvement would be a bonus.
My 96 year old Mother was in The Conifers for 6 weeks before she passed away and the staff were amazing. Their kindness, care, devotion was above and beyond. I would highly recommend the COnifers for anyone's parents who need special care.
Conifers Nursing Home is outstanding. The care and compassion shown to my dad and us as a family as dad approached his life end was exemplary.
I would recommend the home without hesitation.
The management and all the staff were so kind in our time of need to help dad to a comfortable and dignified death. They could not do enough for us.
All staff encountered could not have been more helpful and caring.
The transition was quick and efficient, all equipment and feeds he required was put into place straight away.
The staff greeted him warmly and settled him into the home.
Unfortunately, after a week he developed a chest infection and despite the excellent care received had to be taken back into hospital where he sadly passed away.
As my father was nil by mouth I could not really rate food and drink but PEG Care was excellent.
Also as he was under continuing healthcare I am not aware of the value for money aspect but the review asks me to complete these sections.
