My mom has been a resident at this home for 4 years now they have give us 28 days to move her all because we have asked them not to leave her in bed dressed they said it's better for us because mom takes her pad off we have not been asked to come in and speak to management all we had was a email I've asked a solicitor and they have gone about it all wrong

I and my siblings are really grateful for the excellent care our mother gets at The Haven. The carers are indeed caring smiling, laughing and giving lots of hugs. There's always someone on hand to help with the toilet. There are excellent entertainment staff who do lots of crafts, singing and games. The nursing staff are fabulous. We are really happy mum is at Haven.

whilst the accommodation needs an upgrade, I cannot fault the carers and rest of the team in their kind and respectful approach to looking after my Dad. whilst my Dad probably doesn't appreciate any of their care due to his dementia, I am incredibly grateful to them for their care and concern towards him and the fact that I know he is being well looked after.

Understandably, the move was a very difficult and emotional time for both my mom and me, and initially she found the transition and settling-in period quite a struggle. However, I have been very reassured by the care, patience and support she has received from the team at The Heathers.

Moving a parent into residential care is never an easy decision, particularly after they have spent so many decades in their own home. The kindness, understanding and communication shown by Laura and the team at The Heathers have made what could have been an extremely difficult transition considerably easier.

I am very grateful for the care and support my mom is receiving and would like to thank everyone at The Heathers for helping her begin to feel settled and at home.

It was a very hard and difficult decision for Mom to move into Conifers. She has dementia and was unsafe in her own home. From the minute she arrived in May, all staff have been fantastic with her. If is hard knowing Mom is not living independently, but so welcoming and a huge worry lifted, knowing she is safe. She has met some lovely friends and is kept occupied by all the fantastic activities that Pinky organises for the residents.

From day one we felt at ease with the staff from the office to the carers, nurses all amazing and very caring. I highly recommend The Haven to anyone who is looking for an excellent care home for any relative.We had piece of mind knowing how well dad was being cared for and no amount money would be enough for these amazing people.superstars.

Mom was left with a cup of tea which spilt all over her and when I asked if mom could be changed I got attitude!!

My son was referred to The Haven Nursing Home for continuation of his palliative care from hospital. The care he received was exemplary; the home also made all of us welcome to visit any time and keep up to date on his condition. Whilst visiting we were able to observe the general running of the home with regard to elderly residents including dementia residents. Allowing all to have freedom to move around the home in complete safety. It genuinely felt a happy and safe place to be. Although my son unfortunately passed away we all felt it was a peaceful event with full dignity.

Carers are lovely very kind and patient, the food always looks and smells wonderful. Management always have an open door for a chat if needed.

Brilliant home they looked after my uncle with respect and dignity the manager lesley and staff have been brilliant and done every thing to make sure my uncle is looked after and even us as a family always welcomed in the home.

Even us a visitors were looked after while we were there. Would not hesitate to recommend

Not enough staff to look after him and not trained enough for dementia. He lost alot of weight and was left in dirty P.J's and pad not changed.

Mum has been at the Old Vicarage for nearly a year now and I have to say that the care that she receives is second to none. All staff are friendly and know what mum likes and dislikes. They all go out of their way to make sure that her needs are met. From the minute I first stepped into the home to see if it was a good place for mum , I have been more than satisfied with everything it offers. Having to make the decision to move your parent into a home is a very difficult one and I am very happy with the choice I made. The home is very supportive to their residents and their families. They keep you updated with everything that is going on and involve you in the care planning. I feel reassured that mum is happy and well cared for and this gives me the chance to be her daughter again and not just her carer. I am always made to feel welcome when I visit and any questions I have are always answered. Lesley the manager is amazing and all staff appear happy in their roles. Highly recommend

The building itself as not originally built for this purpose falls short in some areas as you would expect from it's age and design. Most decor is light and welcoming however some bedrooms do need more attention. The premises lacks air-conditioning a big negative in a changing climate and plumbing throughout is struggling

Outside space and quiet spaces were also a big positive , we needed at such a difficult time. You should be so proud of everything you have , do & the team x

I cannot express enough how kind and caring all the staff are at Haven. Looking after my brother in law, sister and myself towards the end. Nothing was too much trouble, day or night, they bought drinks and food if we needed, extra fans during the excessive heat, even balloons, banners and a cake for my brother in law's birthday. The place smelt clean the minute you walked through the door and not just of bleach. The food was always home cooked and piping hot and plenty of it. A truly caring place.

What a wonderful care home this is & how well my father is being looked after. All staff are very friendly & always keep you updated nothing is ever too much for them. The home is clean & lovely to visit.

My step dad was only in your home for a short while until he sadly passed away. The staff were all caring and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble. I would like to thankyou from the bottom of my heart for all you did in his final days it was lovely to see him settled and contented you truly all are all wonderful people and can't praise you enough. I would highly recommend this home for a loved one. Thankyou all once again
