Conifers is a friendly welcoming nursing home. My dad is washed and dressed every day. His room is always clean and tidy. The staff try very hard to include him in all the activities, which are varied, well planned and good fun. The sitting areas and dining room are clean and very comfy. The outside
spaces are well maintained and very nice to spend time in. The staff have gone above and beyond to meet his needs I feel very happy and don't worry about my dad.
Reply from Pauline Steed, Home Manager at Conifers Nursing HomeThank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, Your dad has become part of the Conifers family, The staff always go above and beyond to ensure that your dad and all of our residents have a positive environment and experience whilst in our care, When our residents are happy and well cared for our families are also happy. My mum has been a resident since December 2025. Within 24hrs in their care. My mum had been washed and was dressed in fresh clothes and sitting in the lounge with the other residents. This is something the paid carers attending her own house could not achieve in a year. Within the first 24hrs the office
also knew my mum by name and the care that had been administered in that period.
I know my mum is cared for and safe which has been a great weight lifted

Conifers has changed my Nan's life. At home, she was bed bound, never slept, sitting in bed all day and night in the dark with the TV blaring. Since moving to Conifers, nan has become engaged and so much more settled. The staff are fantastic, her room is clean and pleasant, she eats really well, she's
made friends, and she is up and about. What we couldn't do for her at home, the Conifers team have done for her, and more. I trust them to look after nan, and that on its own is an incredible relief. To know that your loved one is safe and happy, is worth more than money can buy.
Reply from Pauline Steed, Home Manager at Conifers Nursing HomeThank you for taking the time to leave us a review, in relation to the quality care your nan is receiving and how this has impacted her quality of life, and also that all her care needs and social needs are being met, it is always nice to receive such positive comments which will be shared with the team who have been involved with the care and support for your nan and it is always nice to welcome you all as a family here at Conifers.

My mum had been in residence at Eversleigh since October 2025 . The home is a calming environment and welcoming when you enter, Office and all staff are friendly and welcoming . Mum took a few weeks to settle and relax understanding the routine and was able to spend time in her room, watching sport
and her programmes on TV, reading and colouring , the activity team are exceptional and have well planned activities and mum joined in supporting her social well being. All staff , nursing , carers, maintenance are caring and considerate, all meals were tailored to suit my mum and were delicious. Mum was settled and content , all medical and nursing care was excellent .All staff were genuine and caring and gave mum dignity and thought in her last hours. Thank you.
Reply from Victoria Scott-Ison, Office Manager at Eversleigh Care CentreThank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review of your mum's stay with us.
We are deeply grateful for your kind words about our team and the care your mum received during her time at Eversleigh. It means a great deal to know that she felt settled, comfortable, and able to enjoy her favourite activities while making the home her own.
Your recognition of our nursing, care, maintenance, activities, catering, and administration teams is truly appreciated. We are committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care, and it is reassuring to hear that your mum's individual needs, wellbeing, and dignity were supported throughout her stay.
We are especially touched by your comments regarding the care and support provided during your mum's final hours. It was a privilege to care for her, and we are honoured that you felt she was treated with the kindness, respect, and dignity she deserved.

Eversleigh Nursing Home

My husband has been nursed and cared for at Eversleigh for almost 2 years now. The care and nursing is excellent, with good links to local GPs. All of the care assistants are caring, and diligent and hardworking and do their very best to keep him safe and comfortable. Nursing staff are attentive and
competent as well as caring and thoughtful. He has deteriorating and changing needs and I have found the team very responsive and caring to him as his needs have increased. Kitchen and laundry teams also play a part in making sure he is well cared for.
The building is in need of a refit and isn't fancy, but the quality of the care far outweighs that.
I'm grateful for the support of the whole team during what can often be a lonely and sad time for relatives.
Reply from Alina Radu, Home Manager at Eversleigh Nursing HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We are pleased to hear that your husband has been cared for with compassion, dignity and support throughout his time with us.
Your kind comments about our care, nursing and support teams truly mean a lot and will be shared with everyone involved in his care.
We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the building. Please be assured that refurbishment plans are still in place, although some delays have unfortunately been outside of our control.
Thank you again for your continued trust and support.

Mum seems to be very settled in the home and that's down to the lovely staff who care for her and keep an eye on her. We are always updated if there are any issues which gives confidence in their care. As mum becomes less and less communicative they regularly check on her which is good to see.

We

are a little disappointed the long awaited refurb hasn't yet started, the tired appearance is the only thing that lets it down in my view. Hopefully it's still on the cards
Reply from Alina Radu, Home Manager at Eversleigh Nursing HomeThank you for your lovely review and kind comments about our team. We are so pleased to hear that your mum feels settled and that you feel reassured by the care, support and communication from our staff during what we understand can be a very difficult time.
We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the refurbishment. We completely understand your frustration with the delays and share your disappointment. Unfortunately, some elements are outside of our direct control as we rely on external contractors, but please be assured the refurbishment is still very much planned and something we are continuing to pursue.
Thank you again for your patience, understanding and continued trust in our team.

My uncle is an 89 'pleasantly confused' person, who until last year, was very active with no red illnesses. His physical and, especially, mental decline has been dramatic. The care he has received at Eversleigh has been first class. All of the staff take time to talk and chat with him. Likewise, when
I visit, someone always takes time to update me. I also get regular updates by phone. Staff also ensure his personal care is taken care of. Highly recommend.

I found staff, extremely pleasant and helpful. I'm not sure if my son is taking advantage of everything on offer (activities) as he is still aware of what is happening to him (unable to look after himself the way he could), he is finding it hard to recognise losing his independance. Little touches mean a lot, such as some carers applying a little make up to mum or just coming in to give mum a hug because they know it means something to her. Anyone who is looking for
