My step dad was only in your home for a short while until he sadly passed away. The staff were all caring and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble. I would like to thankyou from the bottom of my heart for all you did in his final days it was lovely to see him settled and contented you truly all are all wonderful people and can't praise you enough. I would highly recommend this home for a loved one. Thankyou all once again

When my mother was first place into The Haven I had reservations as I didn't think that she would settle. Once she was used to everyone there she seemed happy and settled. The carers are quite thoughful and will make sure mum is comfy and happy.

My mum has been a resident since December 2025. Within 24hrs in their care. My mum had been washed and was dressed in fresh clothes and sitting in the lounge with the other residents. This is something the paid carers attending her own house could not achieve in a year. Within the first 24hrs the office also knew my mum by name and the care that had been administered in that period.

I know my mum is cared for and safe which has been a great weight lifted

When my mum first came here I was scared as I did not know what to expect, but from day one the care and support the team have given my mum, and me, has been exceptional. After a tough couple of years we are finally seeing some improvement through the support, care and dedication the Haven team provide. I cannot thank the team enough for what they do, they are never phased and are brilliant with my mum and other residents I have come to know.

The most amazing place in my opinion. The care and kindness shown to our mum was impeccable...above and beyond our expectations. Mum was treated with dignity and respect in her final days. We, her family, were treated so warmly by all the nurses and staff. I cannot praise The Haven highly enough!

My mother has been a resident at the Haven for several years now and from my experience the care provided has been excellent. The home is quite large which gave my mother the opportunity to wonder about, which I felt was good for her, but she is older now and less mobile and adapted to her needs.

My 91 year old Mum has recently transferred from hospital to The Haven Nursing Home. It has been really cheering to see Mum in such a good place, relaxed and calm. She is actually joining in with activities again. Thank you all for making Mum so welcome and comfortable. Everyone is soo caring and thoughtful.

My Mum was a resident for the final 4 months of her life and from the outset the home was clean and very secure and the welcome from the staff was warm, friendly and very reassuring that I was placing my loved one in very safe and capable hands.

This level of care, kindness and dignity continued from the outset and until her final day and in addition the staff were friendly and very attentive to my Dad and I throughout.

Of the couple of homes my Mum experienced this was by far the one she liked and felt very comfortable staying at and when entrusting your loved one to other people it is the feelings of, in this case my Mum, that is paramount.

In her final days The Haven Nursing Home could not have done anymore to ensure the process was smooth and handled with care and compassion. I will be forever grateful to everyone at The Haven for their devotion and care afforded to my Mum, but also my Dad and I.

It was a very daunting and stressful time with my dad's (aged 94) very quick transition from hospital to a care setting in October 2025. We can confidently say the staff here have been so accommodating and welcoming and put our worries at ease. He feels very settled and refers to The Haven as his home.
Special shoutout to Kelly for her upbeat attitude and kindly offering refreshments to family visiting from Yorkshire, however I would advise her to take some dancing lessons when entertaining the residents!
Sukhi has become a member of the family and treats dad like her own. She keeps us updated daily on his health and it is clear that she's truly passionate about the important work she does.

We cannot thank the staff enough for the level of care and compassion they show day in and day out (not forgetting the night team for all their hard work)

My dad lived at the haven for the last three years having vascular dementia and a grand age of 92 at the time he passed . From the moment my dad moved in till he's last moments he was so well loved and cared for . The home always had a wonderful atmosphere, always clean and well presented.Activities are a regular feature and special events always celebrated , music was my dad's favourite. My dad was so well cared for ,always clean and showered, beautifully shaved and every need was seen too. The home worked with us a family and his needs changed over the time he was there the plans were always adjusted. No matter what home you go to it's the staff that makes the home ,from the admin the chefs ,the nurses ,the maintenance, they all work so hard and to there up most at the haven and I can't recommend them highly enough .

We were so lucky to have been granted this place for our 94-year-old mother to be cared for until her last day. This is a nursing home that really cares. From the first day admitted she was made welcome and her one-to-one carer was a blessing. She made her feel safe, fed her, clothed her, washed and trusted in her. The whole team were great - nothing too much trouble, attentive and always a carer or nurse at hand. The place is kept clean and tidy and always a variety of food is available. Lots of care provided to make sure Mum was comfortable, safe and checked on frequently. Absolutely a 5-star rating.

The staff were brilliant with my partner, meeting every need with compassion and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble - they were always available, offering help at every turn. From the start, it was clear the team was dedicated not only to my partner but also to supporting the whole family. Their kindness and attention made a difficult time easier to bear. I'm incredibly grateful for their care and would highly recommend The Haven Nursing Home, Coventry.

Mum has been a resident of Haven care home for over 12 months. On her arrival at the home, we were all made very welcome and Mum settled in very well. The family have been kept up to date with Mum's health issues and welfare.

The care team go the extra mile to make Mum comfortable and show genuine affection for her. The whole place is kept clean and tidy with recent refurbishment to much of the home. I'm very happy with Mum's environment and the care she receives. The management team also do a great job.

My mum, who is 92, is very happy in this home. The staff are very very good, going beyond their brief to make life happy and meaningful for the residents. My mother loves the food and the various and regular entertainment that the home provides. I would recommend this home unreservedly for anyone considering a placement.

My mother was a resident for only a short while before her death. I cannot fault the care and attention given both to her and the family. As her health declined they anticipated her needs and the attention to detail was second to none. This is evidently a reflection of good leadership and management. I have not rated the activities section this was not relevant.

It is not an easy decision to place a loved one into a care home - but you can rest assured that The Haven is a lovely place to be when 'home' is no longer a safe place. As a relative, this is what you need to know and feel, to do the best in a given situation is all anyone can do.
My Mum was a resident at The Haven - she moved from Residential Care in July 2022 because she needed Nursing / Dementia care.
During the last 18 months or so she has been very well looked after, the quality of food, cleanliness, and nursing care have been excellent. Regular phone calls came from the staff to check if we were happy.
Dementia residents can be 'difficult' to manage - but I always saw respect and understanding from all the staff I dealt with, and the environment was calm and supportive...
The staff are all very kind, they have time for people and show genuine compassion.

My mum passed away peacefully this week.

Mum was only a resident for a few weeks but in that time she made friends with other residents, had an afternoon tea, sang to records, played bingo, had her hair cut, nails painted and had normality to her life in a homely environment.
The staff welcomed Mum and showed genuine care and compassion, they treated her with respect and dignity at a time when she was frightened, vulnerable and needed to feel safe and cared for.
Mum's final days were peaceful and I was able to spend precious time with her with the staff looked after me as well as Mum, provided me with tea-making equipment, meals and hugs.

Thank you for everybody for their care, support and kindness.

As a family, asking a care home to look after a relative is an emotional process. Ensuring care is given in a dignified and respectful way with compassion is what we wanted. The staff who cared for our father were so kind, caring and full of life. They very quickly got to know him and his needs. The care he received was dignified, respectful and compassionate. The end of life care was quietly beautiful, as a family we were so well cared for and supported, allowing us to be with our father, to be joined by a priest and parish sisters ensuring a prayerful end to his life. The care given was bespoke to his needs and his wishes. Thank -you to everyone who plays a part in running the home and offering care which is so finely tuned to the needs of individuals. Thank you for the 24-hour cups of tea, the reclining chair and the basket of toiletries which let us stay close by at the end. Thank- you for the knitted flower on the door that let people know precious final moments were being shared.
