4 points are available for the first 5 Positive Reviews, 3 points for the first Positive Review and then 0.25 Points for each of the next 4 Positive Reviews.
1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.
If there are no Positive Reviews in the last 12 months, then 2.5 points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 2 years. The calculation is the same as above, except the points are divided by 2.

My lovely Mum, who was suffering from Dementia, died a couple of days ago whilst a resident at The Lodge. I can honestly say that her final couple of months while a resident there were extremely happy. The staff were caring, attentive and extremely professional, they kept her clean, engaged and catered for her every need, even staying with her in hospital while she was in her final hours.
I have nothing but praise for the staff and have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone looking for a residence for a loved one with complex needs.
